Similar food quality as other McDonald’s. Service is frequently very rude. Communication at the drive-thru is almost always farcical. Finally, the layout of the new building is very awkward & frustrating. The designer did not fully think through how people would move through the restaurant.

Ballston mall mcdonalds — This is re: the one in Ballston Mall. It’s the best deal in the food court, but even I have my standards. They finally got rid of the cashier who was nice enough but looked like he just got out of prison and was missing half his teeth. Now they have a bunch of Hispanics who again are nice enough and more or less get the order right, but the food quality has gone downhill. I mean, food quality compared to other McDonald’s. I got a cheeseburger and drink today(7:30 pm). The cheeseburger was horrible/bun was dried out and it didn’t even taste like meat. The drink had almost no ice or carbonation. After eating the cheeseburger, I thought I would give it another try and it was just as bad as the first one. Now I’m feeling queasy… Why 2 stars? Because it’s the only affordable place in the mall(i.e. eat for under $ 5) and I really hope they can improve. However, now it’s basically only up to South Americans hygiene standards.

This is like any other McDonald’s. They have the same menu and I prefabaly don’t like McDonald’s. But, when I go I usually go thru the drive thru. I usually order fries or/and a apple pie. My mom always gets coffee. She has a specific coffee order. She asks them for no cream or sugar. But they always mess it up.

Friday evening, 1÷10÷15 I am the only customer inside the restaurant, there is a steady flow of drive-thru traffic. 7:53pm Place order: Southwest Chicken Salad, with grilled chicken, hot fudge sundae, with nuts. 7:54pm Employee who took my order goes on break. 7:55pm Another customer orders. 7:56pm 7:57pm Insert Jeopardy music here. 7:58pm Another customer orders. 7:59pm 8:00pm 8:01pm Insert more Jeopardy music here. 8:02pm 8:03pm 8:04pm 8:05pm 8:06pm 8:07pm Employee who took my order comes back from break. 8:08pm McDonald’s: «Ice cream machine broke. You get refund.» Thought to myself: Wow. Thanks for making me wait for almost 15 minutes in a virtually empty restaurant to tell me that. I know it’s McDonald’s, but McReally? Customer service FAIL. Buh-bye.

The employees are rude. We went to the drive thru and we told him a egg white mcmuffin with sausage. We had to ask him 3 times until he responded and we know he was listening. When we were paying, we asked if we could add a burrito to the order. He rudely said«No he had a car behind us». Never go to this mcdonald again. Rude rude!

Why do I do this to myself. Despite past experience I go here again. I go there yesterday. I order a number 15 with a coke. A number 15 is 2 breakfast burritos with a hash brown. The lady hands me my bag, it has one burrito. I say to her, «You only gave me on burrito, it’s supposed to be 2. I also didn’t get my hash brown.» She rudely says, «That’s what you ordered.» I said, «No, I ordered a number 15. A number 15 is 2 burritos with a hash brown.» She says«that’s what I gave you.» I say, No you didn’t.” A manager overhears the conversation and gives me another burrito and a hash brown. She then says, «Don’t listen to her she is new» Well if you are new and don’t know, don’t argue with the customer. If you are the manager and overhear this, apologize to the customer. After all that I say, «thank you, could I have my receipt please.» So they take my balled up receipt out of the trash and hand it to me. I say a number 15 with a coke should be about $ 6.00, you only charged me $ 1.95. The manager says, «It’s ok, don’t worry about it. I guess I should have be happy I got such a good deal. We really should give these people a raise.

The employees here are rude and don’t know how to facilitate the drive-through. I’m pretty sure this lady burned the chicken nuggets on purpose too

Quickly summarized, this place is just a regular McDonald’s with a really busy drive-thru, a really bad redesign, and even worse employees that do not care at all and will talk poorly about you in Spanish while you’re right in front of them, thinking you can’t understand them. It’s McDonald’s, so you can’t really expect much from the quality of their food. But what I’m really rating it a one-star for is the horrible service I got. My friend drove me to the drive-thru. We were waiting in line and happened to be in front of one of the drive-thru menus(there are two). For some reason, the order from the car in front of us was being displayed on our drive-thru menu and you could also hear from it what the employee was saying to the person in front. We were confused because why would you have two menus but only the last one takes orders? The person in front of us finished their order and we slowly pulled up to the next menu to order. But as that happened, the employee from the menu we were already at asked us for our order. So we reversed back to the first one and asked if anyone was there. We said hello like three or four times and then tried the next menu again. This time, there was no answer. So instead of going through the drive-thru, we went into the dining room. Inside the dining room, a short Hispanic lady(maybe the manager at the time? she was wearing a black McD’s jacket) asked very angrily while I was ordering some McNuggets what happened in the drive-thru. I told her that we got confused, so we just went into the dining room instead. After I told her that, she gave me a very mean look and yelled something in Spanish to her co-workers, obviously about me and my friend. After ordering, the lady pointed at the trashcan for me, saying something like«there’s only one trashcan, throw away your trash here, etc», assuming that I was going to leave trash everywhere I’m guessing? After a few minutes, my McNuggets came up but I wanted sauce with them, so I stood at the counter until I got someone’s attention. I got the angry lady’s attention, she made eye contact with me, but instead of asking if I needed anything, she gave me an evil look and muttered something in Spanish as she walked to the drive-thru window. Another lady came by but she had to yell«huh?!» to ask me to repeat my order. My friend and I were eating and he needed some water, so he asked for a water cup. He walked to the counter and after a while, the angry lady asked him what he needed. «Could I get a water cup?» and she replied to him«please?» like that snarky teacher in high school that you hated. But since she had thick Spanish accent, he couldn’t understand her and she repeated please a few more times. So he said«could I get a water cup please?» After my friend sat back down, she talked in Spanish about«the boy that asked for a drink» to her co-worker and was just badmouthing the both of us. I know I don’t go to McD’s for the service but someone really needs to fire this lady.

This place is the worst McDonald’s ever. I always have trouble there. I started going there in 1990. I’d get frustrated and swear off it for months, then years. After the remodel, I went back. It was okay. Tonight I went by for a drink and dealt with a surly cashier. The place is back on the no go list.

Love their fries, ex lg fries every two wks or so. However, their fries are mot consistent, sometimes it’s haft full, and most of the times there are more broken fires then full size one. But I am an addic… WiFi is not bad either. don’t mind the service… Better then some

McDonald’s is here to stay! Well it better because I collect their dividend in my Roth IRA. This place was bulldozed and a brand new one was built with modern golden arches and rain guard on the drive thru. Sometimes I drive past this place on my way home from the gym. You gotta check in every once in a while you know, to make sure it still tastes the same(Jim Gaffigan says not to be embarrassed). Yep, still tastes the same. I usually go with the double cheeseburger and small french fry. Something you should notice if you order the delightful combination — the fries cost 92% the cost of the burger. Think about that. But if you go to a B7 or Elevation burger, the fries cost no more than 50% the cost of the burger. I’ve got your attention now, right? The thick accident is Spanish here, so try to speak clearly. No prostitution going on the parking lot, like the Columbia Pike location, because it’s on a corner with a light. Enjoy. Panda Café — right next door — is also amazballz Pupatella — right across the street — is also amazballz Safeway — just up the street — be careful in there

I am a conundrum: very in shape and very much in love with McDonald’s. I love the fries, the cheeseburgers, the quarter pounder, all of it. I love the nostalgia for me, and I love the consistency which the corporate business model calls for. It’s amazing, what an American success story. Huge fan of McDonald’s.

This was a pretty good McDonalds until it was redesigned. The food is the same __quality you’d expect, but the space planning is absolutely terrible. No defined lines with customers entering at two sides. A «wait» section right next to the register so nobody knows who is waiting for food or to order. No matter where you walk, you’re running into people and it was far from capacity despite having just reopened. The seating areas are more claustrophobic with far fewer windows(the old design used to have seats lining all edges. The condiment station has multiple«stuff» dispensers, but they’re all jammed up next to each other so only one customer can get«stuff» at a time. But hey, at least the paint is fresh. The person responsible for this redesign should be without a job. Thank you for ruining a perfectly good, albeit old McDonalds. Yes, when I eat fast food once or twice a year, I may take the experience a bit too seriously. Oh… oh… and my fudge sundae needed more fudge.

A conversation with the Drive-Thru at about 11:00pm… «Hello, can I take your order?» «Hi, Can I have a moment to think about what I want please?» «How many apple pies?» «No, no apple pies. I need a second.» «How many apple pies?» «…Can you please wait, I am deciding on what I will order» «I don’t know. Second window please.» (*sigh* Drives up to second window) «Hi. I was saying that I don’t know what I want, can you give me a minute?» «Hold on.» (And then she walked away from me…) (And then I drove away. into the Super Pollo parking lot…)

Mcdonald’s DO vary okay. No matter how much they try to make it consistent, they’re NOT! Just one street over, the mcdonald’s on glebe road is TERRIBLE. bad soft serve icecream, extremely rude service, wrong orders, etc. I was having a hankering for a soft serve cone but because of my terrible experience at the glebe road one when the ice cream was melting/dripping even before the hostess handed it to us… I was not about to go back… and we decided to go to this one which is not too much further away! The icecream was PERFECT, TONS Of icecream on top(perfect for sharing) and tasted soooooo gooooooooooood and NOT melting! Will be back for some DELISHGOODNESS!
