Michaels Of Arlington

Went for my first time on ⁴⁄₁₁. I had planned a big get together for many of my coworkers. Total invited 49. I arrived before anyone from our group. 7:50pm. There was about 17 or so people. I sat at a table, female bartender looked over at me, but kept talking to the people at the bar… I sat there for 20min before a few more people came in and sat around at tables not far from me. Immediately, the bartender comes from behind the bar to greet the people that walked in AFTER me. Took their orders for drinks. (WE made eye contact, but her look was as if she was letting me know, she wasn’t coming to help me, the what are you doing here look) I sat there another 15min and finally decided I was patient enough. I canceled the event with everyone and advised them TO NOT come, because apparently I was not welcome.
I and MANY people that have gone to many of my events that I host, will NEVER go here after this. I will just make sure to find a venue that is respectful to all, no matter their race…
