My Brother’s Place

I have only ordered from MBP online and have never had any negative experiences. The Steak Bomb is so good that it should be regulated by the DEA. I have a vegetarian friend that breaks his own rule to eat some. I have had great calzones from them. No issues with delivery and I actually have never even seen the place in person. I am a fan.

The Owners an asshole. I called one night and ordered a pizza … waited over an hour. okay… I ordered late no biggie. finally pizza gets here. btw I ordered a lg chicken finger, bacon pizza w/​a side of RANCH. PIzza’s Cold. Bacons burnt I mean annihilated like torched like you look at it and your like ehhhh gross. and oh ya… no side of ranch. I called back. made the complaint. The Owner himself said too bad nothing I can help you with tonight its too late. I’m thinkin well hold on. business wise that’s very unprofessional let alone what ever happened to the customers always right etc. however being human I understood alright it is late guys probably tired and probably has kids he wants to say goodnight to. so I ask if hell rectify it on another day and he agrees. I take the bacon off chicken is still pretty tasty. I think it had potential. cant wait to try again I thought. next day comes I try again. lg pizza chicken finger hold the bacon this time and A SIDE OF RANCH!!! Pizza gets here. the drivers like a 16 yr old hey this is my first job oh btw I’m stoned which was all too obvs!!! w. e anyways trusting my instinct I check the pizza… suddenly thoughts flooded my head. thoughts like was this kid in a 7 car pile up? did someone swing a bat and he used this pizza as a shield? Is he just fucking with me??? oh ya… can anyone guess if there was any ranch. lol nope. I said I’m not taking this send it back. called the owner. he didn’t care told me to go somewhere else. wanted my money back wouldn’t do it. hes an asshole

Pizza and wings were great! We will definitely be ordering from here again soon. The breadsticks could use some garlic or some other kind of topping, they were a little bland.

Why am I stupid enough to keep ordering from them? I called tonight to place an order for two calzones. I asked if the chicken was grilled or fried. The answer I got was cooked and breaded. That should have told me.
Then when our order showed up, 10 minutes later than the long side of their quote, there was only one calzone there. The driver has gone back to get the other one. I asked if it would be hot when he got here. He wasn’t sure.
The only reason I have ordered again is because they are one of the few places which has calzones on the menu and they are pretty good. But this is it. I won’t miss their food which comes with the bad attitude, rudeness on the phone, and inability to deliver food as they state they will.

Delicious pizza, tasty wings, and always friendly service. The plain wings are the best, with just a hint of spice and plenty of flavor.
Can’t speak to delivery, but for pickup the times are always reasonable — even on chilly Friday evenings. Great neighborhood place!

This is a great place to get food!
There Pizza is fantastic, the mixture of Cheese & sauce is perfect.
There non pizza items are just as good! Greek Salad with their bread is perfect!
Grilled Chicken subs are amazing!
Trying this place out is not a waste of time!

We had friends who came into town at the last minute. It was 8:00 pm, and we were trying to figure out what to do for dinner that would be quick and cheap. We ordered pizza from here and picked it up (we live a quick walk away and figured we could save a delivery wait). We had two pizzas ready in 15 minutes. They were good! Crunchy crust, slightly greasy, and the price was great. I wish they would have saved me a piece or two for lunch the next day.

They took our order and address, said half an hour and over an hour later we called to check: turns out they don’t deliver to Cambridge (understandable! But why didn’t they say anything to begin with? OR before we had to call to check at least?)
I have never left a review before but the response «cambridge is way too far for us» after an hour of waiting without the slightest hint of an apology is unacceptable.

Love the calzones, great portions for a decent price, they always pack extra sauce on the side, always get the chicken parm and buffalo chicken calzones, so delicious, crispy on the outside and very flavorful, the staff is very friendly and provide pretty good service, wish they had more space to sit down inside and eat though, other than that great place!

Greek salad with romaine lettuce and grilled chicken breast. Comes with homemade bread. This is all the info you need…

When I first moved to East Arlington I saw this place and thought great! A take out place within walking distance. I ordered a few things from them:
Pizza — very greasy, I personally did not like the taste at all and refused to order pizza from them again.
Turkey BLT — This was great, highly recommended.
Chicken cutlet sub — I wouldn’t recommend this one… After 2 – 3 bites I tossed it because the chicken was grilled (my fault for not catching that everything is grilled or baked — kudos on the healthy choice) and didn’t taste good to me — way too thick and tasteless.
Fries — flavorless. I did not try the spicy fries which everyone else seems to love.
Overall, I was more disappointed than impressed here and I ended up going to other places that were further but better. I’m sure a lot of their stuff is great, it just wasn’t my taste.

My spicy fries were cold and soggy, boneless Buffalo chicken was also soggy and chicken looked like fake McDonald’s chicken when I cut into it. The regular chicken fingers looked like the cheapest I’ve ever seen. The broccoli, chicken and ziti was Ok but coveted in sauce. And they forgot my drink which happened before with them. That was there 3^rd chance, never ordering from them again!

Great home made bread. Willing to alter any of our orders to our liking. Fast delivery as well.

So, they have AMAZING spicy fries. I have no idea how they’re so good, even for delivery, but they are amazing and the only reason I order from here. They do have a pretty good steak and cheese sub, as well as chicken parm sub. The pizza however, leaves a lot to be desired. Don’t over order as you really won’t want to eat it the next day. It’s kind of hard to explain with the pizza, it’s just not very good. The people who answer the phone are always super polite and friendly and my order has only been messed up once, which isn’t bad. The biggest negative lately has been the delivery guy. We order at least once a week, I seriously can’t quit these fries, and he still takes almost 3 – 4 minutes to get from the call box to my apartment (we live on the first floor). This is after I have to tell him, repeatedly mind you as it’s been the same guy the past couple weeks, to please actually use the call box so I don’t have to come downstairs. He always runs past my hallway so I have to yell to flag him down, super flustered and out of breath, and always forgets his pen. This isn’t to say he’s not a really friendly guy, but it just is kind of off putting when your delivery guy is super sweaty and out of breath every time you see him.
Overall, while you can go wrong here, they do plenty right. Give it a shot, at least you know the fries are legit!

Definitely did not have a good experience going to My Brother’s Place. I ordered delivery, and got an order of steak tips with rice. First of all, there were only about 6 steak tips in the meal, which was really more like 3 since they looked as if they had just cut regular sized steak tips in half and put them in my container. On top of that, they were very dry, and the rice pilaf had very little flavor to it. Not to mention, delivery took well over an hour. Hopefully I can try My Brother’s Place again and update my review in the future, but for now all I can give is one (generous) star.

A bunch of my friends and I did a taste test from 3 of the top rated pizza places in Arlington. My Brothers Place was by far the most pleasant and nice over the phone. The delivery guy arrived 15 minutes faster than the others. It was a couple bucks cheaper. And the pizza was unanimously voted as the best. We have a new go to pizza place.
Oh and as a bonus, you can order online which is a huge convenience.

friend: «Your brother owns a pizza place?»
me: «No! I mean My Brother’s Place!»

We live nearby and this is our go-​to pizza place (take out only!). I love how they participate in the community, offering a 15% discount as a part of the Arlington community card (you can get one at the Book Rack) to support the school PTO. The thin crust pizzas are always fresh and delicious, and I have it on a good source that the steak bomb is. the bomb. I love the white pizza! The guys behind the counter are friendly, and there is always tons of people popping in for pickup.

Not very good. The thin crust pizza was loaded with too much cheese (I know, who thought such a thing was possible?!) and soooo greasy. We ended up throwing most of it away.

We were very happy and surprised to see fresh (not canned or bottled) mushrooms on the mushroom pizza. The pizza was very good but super salty cheese. Next time I would actually order it with less cheese, if possible. The guys had a bacon pizza and seemed happy.
Only had their pizzas once but would definitely recommend.
