Amazing!!! I would give it more stars if I could. Great price, fantastic pizza. We are from out of town here to ride roller coasters. Did a quick search of close pizza places. This place hit the spot. My daughter wanted me to say for her that this is the best pizza she has ever had. I would recommend it to anyone.

Never had their pizza, but everything else is on point! Manicotti is out of this world, red sauce is good. Salads are good and they have a good house dressing as well. Service can be hit or miss for speed, but never rude. Solid Italian joint.

The Wife and I were heading to six flags and decided to eat lunch and not spend a fortune in the park and I was in the mood for good NY pizza. We were served two fresh hot rolls as free appetizer that were good and asked how big was a small one topping pizza. Waitress sized it up for us with her arms and told us a small is usually enough for 2 people. She was right more than enough about 10 big slices spilt later for dinner. She was quick for our refills and asked if we wanted more bread which we declined since the pizza was more than enough. We would go again good price for pizza not the best NY style but delicious still.

First time here even though I have lived by it for 3+ years. I have been missing out! I ordered pick up on a Saturday night and my order was ready on time. I ordered lasagna and a side salad. The house dressing is great! The lasagna was a large portion and fresh out of the oven. I will definitely be back! I think next time I will try the pizza out.

I have been going here for almost 12 years. Quick, easy, and good! Pizza by the slice and BYOB makes it an easy dinner. Friendly waiters and laid back. Good memories have been made here.

Lowering my review only due to service. My husband and I stopped here about a month ago on a weekend night and it was 20 minutes until the posted close time. The employees were rude and the girl told us there was not enough time before close for us to eat. The employees were cleaning. Isn’t the posted closing time when you stop taking orders? I would have been happy to take my food to go but ended up walking out because of how rude we were treated. My husband says he will not go back again.

The Antipasto Salad is amazing with the house dressing. They don’t skimp on the ingredients or quantity. I order extra house dressing just to have at home!

Delivery was fast, accurate and omg the food was bomb. If you’re a spinach alfredo pizza fan please do yourself a favor, it’s pricey but massive and delish. And wow the mushroom tortellini was devine. Will definitely order from there again!

Ill give three stars for just the over all look and vibe of the place. Its real chill walking in. The young lady who assisted me was super nice and helpful. It was busy at Noon. A lot of people dining in. Its my first time! I’ll update my post once I taste my food.

Is it just me? My husband was born in Brooklyn and raised in the Bronx: The pizza here was terrible! Even my 8&9 year old gagged at all the grease and awful dough. We wanted something other than tap water and soda: Bottled water — which was not available!!! I’m sorry, but I ‘have’ to leave this review because we only went seeing some of the 4-star comments! Thanks a lot, lol ;)

Okay, we have been going here for like 8 years! I have personally had 3 of my birthday parties here! I LOVE the pizza, soooooo crazy good! I mostly just get pizza, but the chocolate cheesecake is the best I’ve ever had. When I want chocolate, I go here. I used to be a waitress at both the Olive Garden, and Buca di Beppo, and STILL, this is my favorite Italian dining expletive. I always see Arlington Police Officers dining here, so they must give them a discount, which I respect. I love you New Yorker!

Y’know, been going to New Yorker off and on since it opened, probably at least ten years or so? Get mostly delivery, but will go dine in from time to time. There have been glitches occasionally, where food quality might go up and down some, but mostly pretty consistent good food. Mainly center around the regular pizza, which has most always been really good. Toppings are usually plentiful, and pretty good stuff. Used to get the chicken parm here, but at one point the size got pretty small, so it’s been a while since I ordered it. Don’t get me wrong, they make a pretty good chicken parm, just got a little small on the serving awhile back. They do make a pretty dang good Antipasto salad, and the house dressing is fantastic. Only thing I don’t like about the salad is while most places do rolled up meat in their antipasto, here they put in small slices of cubed meat. Not my favorite way, but the house dressing makes up for the shortcomings. The bread they serve with meals is really good. They also make a pretty good garlic and cheese garlic bread on order.

Shh… don’t tell anyone… but these guys know New York Pizza! Was just awesome! Had the spinach alfredo on advice of other Unilocalers… great idea! It was awesome and HUGE! Delivery was reasonable. Will definitely order from again if I’m in the area.

So we used to eat at New Yorker WAY too often before we moved from Arlington to Minnesota five years ago. We were regulars and would honestly reminisce on their food after we moved. So now we’re moving back to the area so we had to stop by for some goodness! The owners have changed, but the place looks and feels exactly the same as before. It’s like we’ve stepped back in time, lol. So this is a pretty basic place. Very casual. It’s BYOB, if you’re in the mood for a drink with your meal. Their food is plentiful and reasonably priced. Typically I’ll just get a slice of pizza while my husband will get two. They are huge pieces, so one is always way more than enough for me. They serve delicious rolls as an appetizer(not sure if those are complimentary… I’ve never asked). What we do… and I would suggest… is ask for some of their olive oil and garlic mixture as well as some of their house dressing. We dip our rolls into the olive oil and garlic mixture with some parmesan mixed in. SOGOOD. The rolls with their house dressing is pretty amazing, too. I know I’ve ordered dishes from them before but I can’t remember anything specifically so I can’t review anything else. Back when we lived in Arlington and I was teaching we ordered about five pizzas for a pizza party. Their pizzas are huge and just as reasonably priced as the rest of their food so it was a great move for a school party. Also, the people are very nice. We loved the former owners, but can tell already that the new owners are jut as fantastic and friendly, just from the two times we’ve been back recently.

I LOVE this place! I work close to here, so I have been coming here for years now. Long before I started to Unilocal. To me the pizza is alot better then I have found other places. Huge slices with a good crust is what awaits your lunchtime cravings. There white pizza(all different kind of cheeses) is excellent. Along with just plain olé cheese slices. When I go for lunch, I always get an extra slice for either my kids to eat when I get home, or for me to heat up at a later time and grub on. I have never had pasta from this place, but have had all kinds of pizza combos. Really like them all. The crust is very thin here and has a great taste. Owners are very friendly and the place always seems to be occupied, never empty. I tried a pizza place in Mansfield that got good reviews and after trying it, I knew for certain New Yorker was SOMUCHBETTER. It made me appreciate that I am so close to an excellent Pizza shop.

I’m a pizza addict and this place is definitely on my top 10 list! Tried this place for the first time last night and I was very happy with my experience! New York style pie is different from ordinary pizza but so much better than any chain restaurant by far. My friend and I ordered the Alfredo spinach pizza, hot wings and mozzarella sticks! We ordered a medium which was a mistake because it was HUGE! We are two girls and could only eat one slice each! But we took it home and reheated today and it was just as delicious as it was last night. The wings and sticks were just as good too! They also served us complimentary bread! All of that food plus 2 soda’s and our total was only $ 33.00!!! The service was great, the waitress’ were very sweet and I can’t wait to come back… but next time I will probably only order my pizza by the slice!

This is one of those places that gives you plenty of food for your buck. I had the calzone and it was literally the size of a small baby. It tasted delicious, the ricotta cheese was fresh and gooey. I also had my fill of delicious buttery rolls. I have been coming here for years and have always had good service. On another note they have several TVs so you can catch sporting events. They also have great lunch specials for only $ 5.99.

The pizza by the slice is pretty good. They are large NY-style size. It’s not the best I’ve ever had, but it’s not the worst. I always get a salad with my slice… it’s a standard pizza joint salad — iceberg lettuce with a couple of tomatoes and cucumbers with a tomato-based dressing. One time I ventured off and got the spaghetti and meatballs — they were meh. I’d stick with the pizza. I also can recommend the salad with grilled chicken. It came with a huge amount of grilled chicken, broccoli, mozzarella, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. It was enough for two meals and very yummy!

I used to frequent this restaurant almost weekly when it first opened around 2003. It has been over two years since I had one of the amazing Alfredo pizzas– so I decided to check it out last night with my uncle. There have only been a few changes to the menu– and the staff is all new as well. So– I’m as bread whore. always have been– any bread. Tortillas, naan, rolls, you name it– I’m eating it. What can I say, its delicious. They have some pretty amazing and COMPLIMENTARY rolls that get dropped right after you order your drinks. Go ahead and stuff some in your face– don’t worry about getting full cause its worth it. I always order a side of ranch to dip– cause that’s how fat kids roll– so follow my lead. The pies are legit– just not as amazing as I remember when Tony– the original owner who opened this spot and was the only one slinging the dough. He was from NY and would always have his sweet daughters coloring in the first booth when I swung in for a pie. This is still straight NY style and the slices are monstrous– so try and order one slice if you are not willing to gorge þn more than one. The marinara is a little bland for me so I always order the spinach Alfredo slices or pie. I was told on my recent visit that they will not put chicken on the individual slices as they charge by the chicken breast– dafuq? So my uncle and I opted to beast a whole pie so we could enjoy our breaded chicken chunks floating in all that cheesy greatness. They have Pepsi products here and a few tea options– but they use a lot of sugar in the sweet tea so be warned you might have a few teeth fall out. Another must try is the mozzarella sticks– they used legit buffalo mozzarella– so don’t expect the nasty little frozen ones you get other places.
