I’ve found a hair in my pizza twice now, so I’m done.

To be honest, I enjoy the pizza here and i’ve never had a problem with them. I order my cheese pizza, I get it 20 – 25 minutes later and i move on. As long as Ive done that, Ive been fine.

We ordered a pizza during the New Years football games. They took our order and said it would be between 35 to 45 minutes to deliver. After waiting about an hour they called us and said we were out of the jurisdiction to deliver. One simple thing guys. Tell us before all this waiting. Never again.

What can I say about this place… They got my order wrong twice! Then when I called and asked why is my order wrong I was placed on hold twice. Then they tell me you want your money back or you want another pizza? I talked to the manager and all he said was I’m sorry mistakes happen and we had a busy day. Poor customer service never ordering from this location again they have lost a loyal customer

Ordered Canadian bacon and pineapple today. Very disappointed. Barely any Canadian bacon!!! But lots of cheese.

This 5 star rating is in relation to all the other Papa John’s. We all know Papa John’s pizza isn’t the best pizza, but everyone that works in this place is so damn nice I couldn’t give them anything less than perfect. They even told me to drive safely as I hung up the phone for my carry out order, and told me to drive safely again as I left the store. They’re genuinely concerned for my well being.

DONOTORDERFROMTHISPLACE!!! I have tried this place 3 times because I wanted to like it but not one order ever was right or under an hour of getting here. By the way I live less than 3 miles from the place Go to anywhere but here.

This review is for carryout only. I think at this point everyone knows what to expect out of the pizza. Location is great in terms of proximity, but in terms of actually getting to the place, it’s a bit of a nightmare. One-way direction parking lot with a brick wall make it really difficult to get in and out of there in a jiffy. No surprises in terms of food, but the wings are awfully expensive($ 1 each) for the size of them. Monday night football carryout wait time from order to pizzas in hand: 25 minutes. Get your wings elsewhere.

We order from this Papa John’s at least 3 – 4 times a month. Sometimes it’s carryout and sometimes we have it delivered. I really adore the red head in the store whenever we do carryout. He is genuinely nice and kind and is a good representative for the company. Whenever we have a problem with the order, they try to rectify the situation. But we hardly have any problems with our order. When we do delivery, it’s usually within 20 minutes. They are pretty quick and the drivers are usually nice. If you sign-up for emails, you will be able to get sweet deals and specials. Especially when sports are in session. The CEO of Papa Johns loves to make bets and if the team in your city wins, you can usually get 50% off of your order.

We ordered a pizza tonight at 7:35 pm and were told it would be here by 8:05 pm. When it was 8:35 and the pizza had not arrived, I called the store to inquire about the hold up. I was told that«it’s just a busy night» and that the pizza would be here«sometime» soon. I requested to speak to the manager who was not any more helpful than the first man with whom I spoke. When the pizza arrived at 8:50 pm, a full 45 minutes late, the delivery man told me that another delivery man was supposed to bring the food but did not. He then also said he did not have the receipt that I had already paid online via credit card and wanted to know if I had paid tip on it and how much. Not only did I not receive a copy of my receipt(which should be a given), but I found his question to be rather unprofessional. When I told him the amount I had tipped, he requested that I also give a cash tip. That about tipped me over the edge and I finally said that I had to go and shut the door. When I got inside to eat our much awaited pizza, the pizza was cold(big surprise). This time I had my husband call to address the situation and he was originally told that there was no policy in place for comping the pizza and that he could call back the next day to talk wtih the manager. When he pushed for the manager’s hours and name, the man on the phone told him that he could offer us a credit for another pizza. That was the only semi-positive part of this situation. My big takeaway from this experience was stick to Pizza Hut — Papa Johns had poor pizza, terrible customer service, and a ridiculously long wait time. Get it together guys!

I was the biggest Papa John’s supporter until I moved to Virginia. Ever since, it just hasn’t been the amazing pizza I was used to in Illinois. I’ve made comments via Twitter and had great responses(from a different location than this one), and even had the store manager get involved. Don’t get me wrong. The store manager and all of the delivery guys have been fantastic. Very nice people. Helpful Accommodating. However… A few weeks ago, we had a free coupon for Domino’s. Heard they’d changed their game and thought we’d give them a try. It’s been amazing and we’ve been using them ever since, until I heard about a coupon through the Capitol Deal for a free Papa John’s pizza. I thought I could reignite the flame between me and Papa John’s. So we ordered tonight. The food was delivered within the time frame, the delivery guy was fantastic, and they gave me my extra pepperoncini’s I ordered. But, I ordered Garlic Parmesan breadsticks, and they sent us the regular ones. Look, I love bread, so I’m enjoying these regular breadsticks. But I really wanted the ones covered in garlic and parmesan. But, at this point, what’s a girl to do? Call and they say«We’ll send out another order right away»? I don’t want double order of breadsticks, and I don’t want to wait for the right order. I still have a special place in my heart for Papa John’s(in Illinois), but I think my love affair with them in Virginia is officially over.

Only order online. Bad phone customer service. Good pizza. When I come home from work after staring at a computer screen for over 8 hours, I don’t feel like logging on to order a pizza. I called yesterday a little after 5p.m., because I’ve seen commercials for the large specialty pizzas for $ 12.99. The man that answered mumbled into the receiver and I felt like I was in an old school drive through. After I placed my order, he said the total was $ 17.99 and I asked about the special price(actually I had to ask for the what the total was and he had to ask someone else in the background). He mumbled back that maybe it was out there but not at this location. I log into the website and I see the deal is available for their location. I was totally put off by the experience so I didn’t order the pizza.

Papa J’s, I know you are a chain, but I don’t care… I love you anyhow. I had never had PJ’s pizza before coming to Arlington, and now I am a fan… not only for the fab deals(like the $ 10 large pizza that is the current special) but for the fact that today I logged on, ordered, and 21 minutes later a smiling guy was standing at my door with my HOT food, perfectly cooked. You rock! When you factor in that they also had to drive at rush hour a couple of miles through Arlington, that’s impressive…
