The receptionist was incredibly rude and unprofessional from the start, and seemed irate and dumbfounded when she asked for my proof of identification(a funny way of putting it?), and insurance card. Now, my PCP is downstairs, and I assumed that their systems were linked; fine, they are not. But she kept asking me for my insurance card like a broken record, even though I tried to explain, my PCP was downstairs, perhaps they could see me and then get the info later, so many times that I had to say, «I don’t know how many times I can tell you I don’t have my insurance card.» She refused to let me see the doctor. When I went down to my PCP at Arlington Family Practice, the receptionist sweetly asked, should I just print it out for her, then, and you can bring it up? Sheesh. No thanks. I don’t know what kind of doctor would keep such unprofessional and rude staff, but it’s not a practice I would want to attend.

Unbelievably unprofessional. Scheduled an appointment for a patch test, and after I check in(after paying the $ 4 parking fee –what?!) and undress, the doctor comes in and tells me they don’t have the supplies to perform it(though they offered to use EXPIREDMATERIALS on me if I wanted). Booked months in advance, took the day off from work, rented a Zipcar to get here, and they can’t look the morning of to make sure they can do their jobs? Outrageous. Oh and the response I get? «I wasn’t here yesterday so it’s not my fault.» Way to take accountability for your practice.

I thought that this was a nice office when I visited, then I got my bill. I went in for a routine body check and the doctor performed additional services. She did not make me aware that these were not covered by my copay would potentially cost upwards of an additional $ 200. When I got the bill I called to dispute the charge and was treated very rudely by the receptionist. I feel like I was blindsided by these charges and received no sympathy for a situation that seems to occur regularly there. Needless to say I won’t be going back because I like to go places where I am treated as a valued customer, not a source of more income.
