I only come here for #28(com ga xoi mo) because it’s delicious and I’ve never had it anywhere else that comes anywhere close to as good as the way PTT makes it. The roti is also good and my fiancé prefers that one over the xoi mo, but like some people have stated already, they usually don’t have it when we come. The curry is also good!

Com ga roti was good. Service was terrible. This is the third time I’ve been to this place and they just don’t treat customers with respect. The third and final time I went, it was 7pm for dinner. We sat down for 15 mins before someone came and told us they were closed so we left. WTF

Always enjoy the food here, especially the com Ga roti, ga xoi mo, hu tieu my tho and mi thap cap xaxiu hoang thanh! Small and cozy little shop.

Com ga roti and curry. They’re masters at it. Pretty much everything is excellent, but the curry stole my heart.

I have a hate/love relationship with this place mainly because THEYNEVERHAVETHEIR27(Com Ga Roti) INSTOCK! I came here two days consecutively just for that. Unfortunately they crushed my hopes and dreams since they didn’t have any left :( It was utterly heart breaking. The first time my boyfriend and I came here was around 5 pm, and we both ordered the 27(most popular dish so it seems,).The dish itself is very basic however; the rotisserie chicken is definitely the highlight of it all. The chicken is so moist that the meat falls right off the bone, and the flavor itself is delectable. Furthermore, the sear of the chicken skin is basically GLOWING(such a beautiful golden color). The rest of the dish is very ordinary but all the ingredients compliment one another to make a great meal. The salad that comes along with it is fresh, and they give you a large bed of rice that is seasoned. I personally feel that the dishes presentation could of been better but overall, it was awesome. In conclusion, the Com Ga Roti is what you should order. You will not be disappointed! Just a tip; to get your hands on this scrumptious dish you should come in during noon! Honestly, the sooner the better :)

Went back today after a long time and something change the restaurant was pretty empty and that should have been raising a red flag but I still walk in and oh boy was I super disappointed in the food. I wanted my usual Com Ga Roti and they say they ran out so I decide to go with the Com ga xoi mo. The rice and the chicken felt so dry and missing a whole lot of flavor. Let me just say I will think twice before going back. So sad I miss my old PTT.

Best spring rolls and rice dishes out here in Arlington! Highly recommended. Should definitely try there rice with beef cubes and rice with fried pan chicken. There spring rolls are so fresh compare to other vietnamese restaurants in town.

I can’t believe I’ve never written a review for PTT! This is one of my faaaaavorite places because com ga roti! Warning — sometimes they run out! It crushes me when they do. This has only ever happened to me twice and I’ve eaten here a ton. It must be that it has to marinate for so long and when they’re out, they’re out. The chicken(ga roti) isn’t exactly a rotisserie. I have no idea how they make it. It’s dark meat with a sweet, sticky and savory glaze. No one makes it like this, not even the Bestie. The rice(com) is red tomato rice but even that is unique from how I can make red rice. It’s so good! It’s dry, but just enough moisture to keep it soft and addictive. I always want to eat it all but I physically can’t! It comes with lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber with a vinegarette that is also a bit sweet, almost like an Asian version of Italian dressing if that makes sense… I love it. You also get a bowl of phở broth to wash it all down. My mom always gets the ga xoi mo. She’s a tiny one and she finishes that dish like a boss. That’s my 2nd choice if they ever run out of ga roti. Their cari ga(curry) is also good, but too spicy for me. They only make pâté so(meat puff pastry) on the weekends I believe. It’s one of the best. I love it. The service is attentive for a Viet restaurant, too. They’re really nice here.

Loved this place! I came to try the com ga xoi mo, which is the crispy whole chicken with rice, and I annihilated it! it was delicious, and I really enjoyed the rice as well. I came with 2 friends, both of who enjoyed their meals. One friend ordered a grilled pork dish with rice and my other friend ordered a lamb curry dish, both of which I tried and both tasted good… but I definitely enjoyed my chicken more. I know the com ga roti is really popular here too so I do plan to come back to try it. Everyone talks about phở when Vietnamese food is mentioned, but there’s definitely a LOT of other delicious Vietnamese dishes that people should try, and I think this is a good place to try some of those dishes. It wasn’t busy when I went one weekday evening, but don’t expect much service, at all. If you need something, you’re going to have to ask for it. I’m used to it at this point so I come expecting it and I really don’t mind now. Food is worth it, and my belly was plenty happy(maybe too happy… gotta work this rice off lol). There are places where I expect good service, but here I just expect good food, and I got exactly that. Also I went to the counter to get my check and pay, which might save you waiting time if you’re not sure whether they’ll bring the check or not. I wasn’t sure so I just went up.

Good food… will be back. Service was mediocre but that was just probably due to the language barrier.

Expected more out from this place. There’s an issue with your food comes out and there are gaps on your plate. Little food for the prices. There are other Phở houses that give you more food for the buck.

The food is yum. The atmosphere is amazing. I had goat curry and it was amazing. I love goat. Everyone should try some goat someday. Come visit them. Goat curry is the right amount of spicy. I came with a group of friends and they loved what they had too. I love having Asian friends. I’ve been introduced to a lot of different things. Come to PTT. You won’t be disappointed. It’s even better when the owner is friendly

I stopped here with a friend based on the Unilocal reviews. it was really good. Not exactly a phở place though they do have soup and vermicelli dishes. we shared pork spring rolls(yum!), and a pork and shrimp noodle soup. It was really tasty, the noodles were really thin. they had sauces and spices to glam up the soup yourself, which I like. My friend ordered the coffee with sweet condensed milk(it was like a tiny French press over your coffee cup — so cute!). There are many similar places in the area I want to try out, and this one was definitely a success. Give it a try!

This place is known as PTT, home of the Com Ga RoTi by many many people. That’s the chicken rice plate that people rave about and it really lives up to it’s expectations. I’ve had several friends drive out an hour or make a special stop when they are in the area, even if they just had a meal elsewhere. Another dish I really like is the Hu Tieu My Tho which is a pork broth soup with clear noodles, pork, and shrimp. The service isn’t anything special but each dish is less than $ 10 so it’s good!

My wife and her family love this restaurant and they usually come for the«com ga roti» or «hu tieu my tho». However, I find the food here kinda«blah». They are not bad but they are not great either. If I want to eat«hu tieu my tho», I rather go to «My Tho» restaurant that just opened down by Collins and Pioneer. I am so used to California viet food, so I might be extra picky. Maybe that’s why my review is different than most other reviewers. C’est la vie!!!

Great little Viet bistro in Arlington. Good braised chicken and beef stew, however my favorite was the dumpling soup — it definitely stole the show. The staff was friendly and food was hot and good. Definitely worth another visit!

Great experience every time! Not much to say about this place, typical vietnamese restaurant. You get your food, you pay at the front when you’re done, you tip, and you togo if necessary. I ordered the hu tieu my tho with the glass noodles instead of the white ones. They’re more chewy and yummy in my opinion, but that’s just me. :) My friend ordered the com ga ro-ti and it’s just a favorite that everyone loves! My soup was piping hot, her plate was filling, we had a great time catching up. I also ordered the soy bean, and they added just a little bit of ice — hence a lot of product to drink! I paid exactly $ 9.99 for my big drink and my big bowl of noodle soup! Décor is a little run down, but this place has been open since even before I was born! They also have sweets in the front. Service is alright, you don’t really expect much because you don’t get much, but overall, this place is a favorite to me.

I love their com tam bi cha thit nuong! They have the best in Arlington! Service– Typical service of a restaurant. The servers are very friendly and attentive. Food– Their food is incredible and the portion is unbelievable. They also have some sweet vietnamese desserts and cream puffs(so good) for dessert. I would highly recommend this place!

At the advice of fellow Unilocalers, I ordered the com ga roti. Unilocal has never steered me wrong and this is no expcetion! It was literally one of the best meals I’ve ever had! The dish consisted of tender dark meat chicken on tomato rice with veggies(lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber). It came with a vingearette that was a good balance to the salty/sweet flavor of the chicken. I also got the pork puff pasty which was light and fluffy, but not the best I’ve had. I ordered Togo. The phone service was average. I got there about 15 minutes later and was helped right away. The owner was really busy but exteremely polite. I got in and out in under 5 minutes! I definitely stocked up on the com as roti before leaving town to head back to school – it actually still tastes good when reheated. I’m excited to try other dishes, but its going to be hard to top that com ga roti!
