I absolutely loved this place & their food! I ordered the Plumpy’s BBQ sandwich, and my son got the chicken tender plate with fries. My friend ordered the smoked chicken sandwich and banana pudding. All of the food was so delicious, not dry and the bbq sauce was good, yet different from other places I’ve tried. The amount of food you get for the price is outstanding. My family & friends will definitely be eating here again! I highly recommend Plumpy’s. They have a nice menu, decent prices, good service and awesome food.

They have the best beans ever! I send my husband here to pick up dinner when I’m too lazy or too tired to cook. The service is good and they support the military. Definitely my favorite place to eat in Arlington

I like this place a lot more than the business that used to occupy this location. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food really good. The new operator has dressed the place up a bit and really improved overall quality. Oh, and the selfie frame adds a nice touch!
My favorite is the smoked chicken sandwich. Love it! If you are not a fan of pork or chicken, the burgers are great, too. Want a good food-​app and are okay looking the other way on calories for only today? Try the Deviled eggs.
If you find yourself hungry and lost way out NE of Memphis, and black tie affair isn’t a necessity, you cannot go wrong by choosing Plumpy’s.

Honestly cannot understand why this place doesn’t do more business. Ribs are better than just ok and pulled pork is way above average. Haven’t tried the chicken yet as it is pulled!?! Sides are homemade and delicious. Staff is friendly and courteous. Overall a real good meal experience. Plus it’s right down the road from the house

Eaten here twice and tried quite a bit of everything. The only thing I really liked was the BBQ Chicken. The only problem was the portion was so small I was still hungry. The sides were OK, nothing special. I’m done here.

Good stuff. Not the best bbq I have every had (who can beat home cooked!) but really good food to be a mile from the house! The bbq Bologna and cheese plate appetizer was really good. The pulled pork plate was tasty, but the pork wasn’t seasoned as much as I like (I like really seasoned food). The green beans and deviled eggs were also good.

Plumpy’s is one of our favorite places to eat. Breakfast is top notch the Plumpy’s omelet is excellent (I usually add spinach and jalapenos) and even my 3 year old loves the pulled pork. Service is usually excellent generally with an owner usually present.
BBQ Flatbread is also excellent and the best value on the menu! You get a lot of food for your $‘s.

Had takeout order Large sandwich with slaw on the side (slaw missing) with onion rings.
huge sandwich, great grilled bun but pulled pork had no flavor. meat was cold.

Wasn’t impressed! Pulled pork was bland. They were out of ribs and I swear their beans were bush’s baked beans out of a can.

Sorry Plumpy ‘s but you didn’t make the BBQ must try list. My experience was just «whatever»…I tried the pulled pork which was good «3 stars», ribs «over cooked», deviled eggs «very good», green beans «ok», and smoked salmon «which would not be edible for a cat». The salmon was so overcooked you needed a knife to cut it! The restaurant itself was clean and had a good vibe… the wait staff were very nice. They do sell their sauces between $ 8 – 10 a bottle… uhhh, pass on that!!! Save yourself $ 5 a bottle and go to Kroger and get a bottle of Rendevous, Sweet Baby Rays, or Flying Pig Sauce! Nothing really made me want to come back, ever.

Been here several times. Food is great. Service is great. The owners really care about your experience. I have not found anything I have eaten to be lacking. Bbq and sauce is good, Bbq salad good, burgers are good. I will be back
