The wait time isn’t very long and the quality of shaved ice is really good. Cash only so remember to stop by and get some before going there! All in all a great place

I haven’t stopped at this stand in years and I remember it being good. Well that is just a memory. Snow cones to me are supposed to be icy sweet goodness. It was icy I can give it that but there was no sweet to my Piña colada snow cone. I was only refreshed because it was hot and I was sweaty from working out. I happen to love snow cones and limit myself to only having one per weekend. I hate that I wasted my limit at Polar ice. I won’t be back and now I understand why there were no cars there on a hot Saturday, holiday weekend afternoon. Also it was over priced. I’ll stick to my favorites from now on. No point in wasting my treat day here.

Polar Ice is definitely one of the best places to grab a snow cone in the city of Arlington! I have literally become addicted to snow cones because of this place! For instance, I was starving today and surely should have just gone home to grab a snack or maybe even prepare a meameal but, guess what I did instead? I decided to stop by for a snow cone! Yippee! I always make it a point to try a new flavor each time I might visit and today’s super delicious victim was the classic blueberry! It was extra yummy because I added cream which made it almost sort of tasted like a blueberry muffin; and that’s exactly what I was going for. Super Yay! The«snow blower“was really nice too and always recommends a different flavor for me based on whatever in feeling for the day… today he recommended I try the peach mango but, I had my mind made up already. Awww. Wait Yummmm! That sounds delicious and I think I’ll most certainly be back to try that one! Btw, he was pretty handsome if I might say so myself. ;) So the snow cones are super inexpensive. Mine was only two bucks for a small and that was plenty. Omg darn near curved my appetite! I love stopping by this place and am always bringing over my new friends and family to try out new flavors with me! Sun, sun, stay and play. well have snow cones everyday! Oh p. s. this place stays open pretty late for a snow cone stand. They close everyday at 9pm. Yay to easy access right off the highway too! I think now all this place needs is some fun party lights a table and chairs and/or a couple of benches with umbrellas to attract more folks and bring the sense of community to the hut. And all that I really have to say to YOU(future customers) is go there, eat there, and love there long time!

UPDATE — the place is now named Polar Ice. I haven’t been there in a while so there’s hope that it has gotten better. New fake snow cone hut sucks. I didn’t know it had changed ownership until I went by there a few weeks ago. They had painted it a different color and their snow cones are just awful. I found out since then that the people they leased the building from did not renew their lease and then set up his own snow cone hut in the building with a bunch of flunkies. The snow cones really, really do suck — bad and overpriced. WIll keep my eyes open for the old crew who ran the place to open their new snow cone hut. Joey

I LOVESNOHUT!!! What’s not to love about a drive thru snow cone shop?! Since we are not in Oahu, the next best thing to Hawaiian shave ice is SNOHUT. There are a variety of flavors and sizes, and you can even add ice cream to the bottom or fresh cream(evaporated milk) to the top for an added creaminess and flavor. I live in California now, but whenever I return to Arlington to visit friends over the summer, I go to Sno Hut every day. I don’t know of any better way to beat a scorching hot Texas day… so yummy and refreshing!
