On a trip passing through Tennessee, every hotel was full in East Memphis, EXCEPT the Relax Inn. And now I know why. For $ 55 I got brown water out of the faucet and mouse droppings on the bathtowels. No I’m not kidding. If it wasn’t 1am after an entire day of driving, I would’ve just left after the brown water incident. Finding the mouse droppings on my bath towel the next morning just made me glad to get out with my life.

Walled Lake, MI
Nothing fancy here, just clean, cheap lodging. Rooms have fridge & microwave. On the backside of building there’s a gate in fence which cuts through to McDonalds next door. Check out is 11:00, but they turned my TV off at 5 min. to :(
