Amazing, amazing, amazing! Tonya is THE bomb. Very attentive, very peaceful, and so, so kind. They give a fantastic customized massage, and Tony accepts general appointments(as mine was) but actually specializes in special needs and oncology massage. Look for deals all over the web.

I found this place via one of those coupon type sites… maybe Living Social. The massage was terrible! The pressure wasn’t enough to relieve me of my pain and the best part of the massage was when it was over. To add insult to injury, the massage therapist kept texting me until I finally stopped responding to her many texts.

I had a customized massage from Tonya yesterday. Unfortunately I have more pain in my lower back now than when I went in. The massage felt good while I was there, but I don’t think her technique was right for me. And that doesn’t mean she is a bad therapist, it just means she isn’t the right one for me. That being said, I think I’ve finally learned my lesson: don’t ever tell a therapist you are using for the first time how much pressure to use. Without knowing how much pressure they usually use in the first place, you could be setting yourself up for disappointment. That was definitely the case here. I told her I don’t like it «too hard» and as a result it seemed almost awkward for her, like she was holding back too much. feeling like she was going to hurt me if she went any harder… even after telling her to use more pressure several times. It was just never enough. I can’t really put all the blame on her for this. Also, I will never fill out that part of the questionaire that asks you to circle areas of your body where you have pain again. This can go one of two ways; either the therapist will spend too much time on the area, causing other areas to be neglected, or the therapist will completely ignore the diagram and just do what they want anyway. I found this massage to be a combination of the two. Tonya really seemed like she wanted to concentrate on my painful areas, and even told me to communicate with her when she reached them, and I did, but she didn’t seem to concentrate on those areas any more than the rest… On top of that, the whole massage was asymmetrical. I told her my left shoulder was painful, but she actually massaged the right one more. My right foot was massaged twice, but my left foot only once. I think my massage would have been much better if I had just kept my mouth shut and skipped that circling of the body parts section of the questionaire. I may repeat a visit to Renew Your Temple Massage, because their prices are very reasonable, but I might try a different therapist next time. Even though I only gave 3 stars, please do not view this as a bad review. 3 stars = «A-OK».

Wonderful, awesome, amazing, and all of the other words for GOOD! After reading Unilocal reviews I made an appointment for a couples massage. When we arrived the place was an office building but Tonya greeted us and made us feel very welcome. My hubby and I received the red carpet and a massage that was the best ever. He had Tonya Turner for his massage. She was informative and super friendly. She listened and made him feel wonderful. His massage was a combination of deep tissue, relaxation, reflexology and Thai. I heard him groaning and popping but he LOVED it! I had Jennifer who was professional and very thorough. My massage was a reflexology as well as deep tissue. Super pleased and looking forward to the next time. We are making another appointment soon!

I bought a groupon here so I thought I would give it a try. Tonya was super professional, friendly, and eager to make you feel comfortable which I appreciated. While it was in a small office room it didn’t really bother me much. The experience was overall very relaxing but I must say that a couple of days later I noticed a huge knot near my left shoulder which I never had before and kind of just appeared out of no where and hurt really bad… So I must say that I am kinda hesitant to return.

Definitely a massage place I would recommend to all my friends! Yes, their office is very tiny but it’s very relaxing nonetheless! My friend bought me a deal on a coupon site and we had our massages together here and I’ve been coming back ever since! One of the girls had an emergency on the day of the massage and couldn’t get a hold of us(I think they lost our phone number) but when we arrived, the masseuse that was there apologized profusely because we booked for a couples massage(it was me and my girlfriend so not really a couple, but we still wanted to have our massages done together) so she offered us a free massage next time and we were able to keep our coupon vouchers for a second massage. Talk about great customer service right? We still tipped after our free massage of course. Tonya is super nice and very attentive to your needs. It’s crazy how she can melt away your knots within a couple seconds, she really does have a gift. My favorite thing about the place is that they have certain people who specialize in certain areas of the body. Tonya is great on the back, Linda is wonderful and does the best on the neck and lower back, and Jennifer(who I haven’t met with yet) specializes in legs. It’s great for me because I have a problem with sore backs from my line of work and I love that Linda concentrates on her speciality versus having a regular masseuse that is good but not great on all parts of the body. They work until 7 so I am able to get an appointment with them after work, very convenient for me. They are having an Christmas sale special right now, an hour worth of massage for $ 44. Great present if you ask me, I already bought two! One for my brother in law and one for myself! So needless to say, I will definitely be coming back! If you guys ever go, tell them Minh sent you! You won’t regret it! EDIT: Just got back from another awesome massage but this time they had a special running for an aromatherapy massage– 30 minutes back massage with a foot treatment of lemon, peppermint, or lavender for $ 35! I picked the peppermint since it was so relaxing and it’s supposed to help open up your sinuses(I wouldn’t know though since my allergies weren’t acting up at the time) but it felt great! They also have a special running for military people, free one hour massage if you show them your military ID but there’s only 3 left so if you know someone in the military, hurry in there to get a free massage!
