Great customer service. Great food. the atmosphere is fabulous. This has become my weekly Friday lunch spot. I highly recommend it!

I do like this place a lot. They were very friendly and the food was great. I had the chicken Banh mi sandwich and a salad and the NOLA iced coffee which was just how I like it. It was clean and super cute. My only constructive criticism is to get rid of the plastic disposable flatware and use real metal flatware. I will visit again I’m sure.

Not too shabby! Crepes were awesome and so was the blueberry muffins. Coffee is kickin’ and I really enjoyed he NOLA style iced coffee. It’s a quirky, hip place. If in the area, it’s definitely something to try. Staff was courteous and prompt.

I absolutely love the crepes! The atmosphere is very inviting and enjoyable also. Unfortunately I came in on a Sunday morning and they ran out of bacon(shouldn’t they stock up for weekend brunch?). We definitely need more places like this in Arlington!

This place is so cute! perfect for studying and relaxing with a good book. The first thing I noticed when walking in was how quiet it was and all the décor was so modern and cute it was definitely a refreshing environment. The food here is oookkkkk. It’s suppose to be french-ish vietnamese. With that being said, I got the banh mi ga(grilled chicken stuffed banquette) and a vietnamese iced coffee. The food was good, but my banh mi was kinda dry and hard to eat almost. My friends got the crepes which was 10⁄10 for presentation but after eating it, they all thought it was dry too. When I took a bite I knew exactly what they were talking about, the crêpe could have used a bit more oil or whipped cream in the middle for moisture. It was good, but could use more work! The star of the show was the frozen horchata which was tasty and different. For the price I paid here, I would rather go to a more traditional place for banh and only come here for the frozen horchata and maybe study.

Dang Mochalux, what happened? This used to be my top favorite coffee shop in Arlington when it used to be called«Mochalux». I visited this place again after being renamed to «Savor». First impression is the décor which is beautifully decorated. I do miss the traditional look they had before, however, they did a wonderful job decorating it! Some of their décor looks like something you’d see on Pinterest. Anyway, it was incredibly hard to read their menu. They made it too minimalistic(did I write that right?) that I could barely read their menu, and I have good vision but geez the menu made me squint so hard just to read the details of each drink. Mochalux always had this banana mocha coffee drink that was on point. I completely forgot the name of it but I did remember it was recommended as a fav from their old menu. I wanted to order it again after they reopened and I can honestly say that I was truly dissapointed. I am not so sure if there were any ingredient changes or maybe they did it wrong because the lady who made it for me did not know what I was talking about. So she threw in things together and a banana thinking it was a custom drink but I always had this when it was on Mochalux’s menu! Now, I understand the menu has been revamped but the quality of the drink was not even close to good. I also ordered some plain regular non sugar coffee with milk and it was the worst I had… for $ 4 it was just not worth it. It was horribly watery and waay too dark. This was for my boyfriend and he even agreed with me. I hate to be mean but I had better coffee at QT and for less than $ 4… I felt like they should of stayed with their original menu from Mochalux and not serve other foods along with coffee. It is a weird combination. Also, their hours are somewhat odd. I recommend to call ahead if you are making a long trip just to get coffee. Again, I understand the new changes with the building also have to do with new managers, employees, menu, ect. but unfortunateltly, my expectations for this place had my hopes down. I wish Mochalux stayed like they were before but for now I am not so sure if I will ever come back to Savor again.

Really good crepes. And a great place to study or do work. I’m always going here on the weekends… but they need to stay open longer to compete with similar places around here. :-/

Amazing place for breakfast/brunch. Really high quality food and they get their dairy and coffee locally. Really casual and nice atmosphere. Great place for a Sunday brunch. Worth coming out for.

Now called savor. Very good crepes. Had lemon and blueberry crêpe. Quite good. Wife had the big shot without meat. Delicious. Daughter had the big cheese. Delicious. Caffe frappé was excellent. Mango smoothie was great. Recommended.

Excellent coffee! My iced latte with honey was absolutely delicious. The decoration is adorable. I love that they have real dining tables in there. It was strangely quiet though — we were a little scared to have a real conversation. Lol. The rice noodle bowl was great and tasted fresh. I had it with chicken and peanut sauce. My only complaint is the speed of service. Do not come here hungry looking for a quick meal. The food took 25 minutes, and it was just a banh mi(no sides) and a cold noodle bowl.

Mochalux Coffee & Tea Co. is now Savor Coffee Bar and Eatery, so I figured it would be a good time to update my review. My girlfriend and I have been here a few times since the rebranding, and it hasn’t lost a beat. The service is quick, and whatever you get is great. I do not think that I’ve been disappointed with anything we’ve gotten thus far. This place is STILL a great local alternative to Starbucks. If you’re in the area, check them out.

With a large university, several large high schools, and a growing downtown area, it’s puzzling that Arlington has little to offer in terms of great coffee shops. This remodel of the Mochalux coffee shop is an exception to the rule, offering extreme south Arlington a place to hang out, wifi, and drink sweet caffeinated bevvies. The interior is surprisingly cozy considering the color choices: lime green and chalky white. Seating is spread out over a stained concrete floor. I’m a fan of cushy chairs in a coffee shop, which are provided along the west window at Savor. I ordered a Chai Latte and my companion a Hot Chocolate. Both were creamy, sweet and nicely balanced, not over syrupy or too much sediment at the bottom like Starbucks drinks sometimes have. We stayed a little past closing(5pm on Sunday) and never felt rushed by the staff. Overall an enjoyable visit. We’ll be back!

It’s more of a 3 – 3.5 but not a 4(yet. I’ll go back and update my review later) I saw promise but it didn’t wow me. Maybe my expectations were too high. Ordered a sandwich but they were out, so I got their desert crepes with fresh seasonal fruits instead. I had a more complex dish on my mind. What I got on the plate disappointed me a little. It was crêpe with fresh strawberries(only) inside and a lot of Nutella drizzled on top. It tasted like chocolate covered strawberry, which tastes good but I could just get fresh strawberries, dip them in Nutella jar and pop it in my mouth. I would get the exact experience without paying $ 6+ The positives: place was clean, ambience was pleasant and calming, coffee and horchata looked appealing, ingredients used were of top quality. Will be back to try other items soon though

Been here numerous times now since it replaced Mochalux. Now, I loved Mochalux, don’t get me wrong, but Savor is the best thing I could ask for to replace it. Their crepes are AMAZING. Definitely recommend getting the Fly Boy, tastes amazingly paired with one of the iced coffees or teas. I personally love the Blueberry Hibiscus. Very refreshing! However, it’s been unavailable the last two times I came, so that’s pretty disappointing. The place itself looks very modern, and a great place to catch up with friends or do a little studying/work. Very neat place, and the workers are pretty cool. The guy makes the best drinks! Tea came out perfectly every time. Drop by if you’re looking for a quaint, cool place to hang and have brunch or an afternoon snack/drink.

The atmosphere here is beautiful. The space is airy and bright, and just feels like a nice place to hang out. Various seating options from solo, to picnic tables, to small quaint tables. So I’ve forayed into the coffee menu, and have found a few I really like, especially the Iced coffee, «nola style” – it’s basically iced coffee with condensed milk– the baristas explanation to me, which is spot on. I also am a fan of the regular coffee and latte. They offer a few different types of milk, I think on my last visit, almond, whole, skim and soy were offered. Prices are typical, I think most of my drinks have ranged around $ 3 – 5. Coffee flavor is my kind of roast, and I’d say its a medium to bold and worth a try. I’m into baking, so naturally had to try their baked goods, and the brownie left me wanting chocolate. The bake on it also wasn’t perfect, and erred on the dry side, I try not to be picky, but when you put something on the ordering counter and ask $ 3 for a baked good, I’m assuming its perfect, or at least good, but this recipe needs to go back to the drawing board. They have a drive thru, but I went one time, and it wasn’t open, and had a sign saying only for drip coffee and during limited hours. I thought that was super confusing, and limiting, and hope that’s changed. Service here I’ve gotten is usually friendly. Nice place to enjoy a coffee, study, or hang out. Have I gone back? Yes, and I definitely think its worth a try.

This beautiful location has received a new face lift; giving its visitors an extra comfort of home. For those of you familiar with the southeast part of Arlington, this used to be the modest little Mochalux! Environment was super cute and I was immediately reminded of a springtime park with a slightly rustic touch. The location had a good mix of natural and artificial lighting. The window seats were lined with cozy pillows, and there were a good amount of wall plugs for laptops, phone charging, etc. The menu did not seem to be very focused, but I will explain further. The design was excellent and had a good amount of coffees, teas, and brunch items. I anticipated the small bites that were present, but was slightly taken aback by the phở(Vietnamese noodles) served after 3pm. After looking into this concept a little more, I realized that this coffee location«converts» itself into a Vietnamese type of café in the evenings. As a location that represents itself as a coffee shop, I did not expect this type of conversion to happen. I would keep this in mind if you are looking to visit Savor for a specific menu item. The full menu is not available throughout the entire day, so look into the location’s hours.(Theresa L. has a really good layout of their schedule!) I had the opportunity to speak with the owner of Savor and was overwhelmed by the dedication and love that she had for her Coffee bar. After a minute of speaking with her, she quickly informed me that they were still the original owners of Mochalux, but decided to give the place a new modern vibe; thus creating Savor. All of their salad vinigrettes, crepes, coffees, and teas are made in house from scratch. I ended up ordering the signature affogato and the frozen horchata. The items came out quickly and at a perfect temperature. The affogato had a bold espresso taste and the ice cream had a gelato-like creaminess. I appreciated the double scoop of vanilla that was hidden at the bottom of the cup. I had the same level of appreciation with the frozen horchata. The item is served in a basic Ball mason jar and is based on an authentic hispanic recipe. There was a generous amount of cinnamon sprinkled on top and no clumps in the blend. The mixture was very creamy and reminded me of almond milk. This menu item was highly recommended item from the staff because it was made in-house. Overall, a great environment and excellent place to visit. I highly recommend coming in and spending a morning or(early) afternoon here. The employees are friendly and the location is well-kept. A must try in Arlington, but keep in mind that the morning and evening menus will be different!

The inside of this place reminds me so much of the unique and cozy cafes in Austin. It has such a nice ambience and I could tell a lot of thought went into the interior design. Anyways, on to the food. The menu had so many different coffee/espresso drinks to choose from and several of the dishes have Vietnamese influences. I also noticed that the menu had several gluten free and vegan options. To order, you go up to the counter and place it and they bring the food out to you. I ordered the bearcat, which is similar to banh mi(Vietnamese sandwich). You can choose to have it with french bread or in a crêpe. I choose to have it with a crêpe and a side salad. The side salad was delicious and had some pecans sprinkled on top. The pork inside the crêpe was dry but the sauce, cucumbers and cabbage helped with the dryness. Overall, it was a nice dish. I’ll definitely be back to try some of their other dishes and their coffee. I’m really glad there’s a place like this in Arlington!

What a cute place! I ordered a frozen Horchatta without the whip. I love horchatta and never had it frozen. This drink was fantastic. It was creamy and had the perfect amount of cinnamon and rice flavor. The menu looked great as it had crepes. I can’t wait to come back here to order another frozen Horchatta and try the food. Thanks Heather for telling us about this fantastic place!

Love the modern décor and the coffee here. The ice coffee is perfect for the summer time! The French press and drip coffee give you a smooth after taste and the prices are very reasonable for the serving. I could totally see myself reading a book or studying here. It is also a great place to catch up with friends. Tip: The salted carmel cookie is SOGOOD!

Wow! New Name which means new concept new owner. I looked at their Unilocal reviews and saw that there were many new items and different atmosphere so I’ve decided to give it a try. I walked in and I was pretty impress by their décor and atmosphere. The atmosphere feels relaxing and spacious for you to lounge around to read a book. I walk towards the counter and a gentleman help me. I wanted a crêpe cup which they were sold out of and another food item on the menu was out as well. He said there were other items that they had but the menu looks confusing. Okay I ended up ordering no food items. I decided to order Vietnamese coffee(Orleans Style) which has condense milk in it. I sat down and waited and my coffee was ready. I can’t wait to try my Vietnamese Coffee with condense milk… Talking about not impress. The coffee tasted like water and diluted. There was no fresh coffee brew smell to the coffee and the condense milk taste wasn’t even there. I wasn’t impress…
