Great Chinese place! They will even add tofu to dishes for vegetarians. The food is delicious

Each time we have ordered from here, it has taken over an hour and a half to receive our food. Tonight it took over an hour and forty minutes to receive our order. We love their food, but the delivery time is completely unacceptable.

Fried Rice and Crab Ragoons are the best. This place is great for take out and not expensive at all. Lots and lots of food in each portion! Enough to share one meal–

This review is on behalf of my sister. When I was at Pan Asia having a great meal, she was getting RUDERUDERUDE. She ordered delivery. When it arrived she checked the price. It matched. Started opening containers and nothing was right. When she called back there was. SCREAMINGATTHEDELIVERYDRIVER. Then shouts they couldn’t re deliver it bc the boxes had been opened(gross for everyone who eats there bc clearly they will re serve food that has been in someone else’s house). Then… never came back to fix it. They left the wrong food ANDCHARGEDTHEMFORIT. They waited until ten to eat trying to figure out what to do – most of which my sister is allergic too. Worst customer service.

If I could give zero starts I would! I called Saturday night for a delivery order. I was told it would be 30 – 45 minutes. One hour passed nothing. I called to check on the order and whoever answered was very short and rude. They told me the order was on the way. We finally got our order 1 hour and 20 minutes after the order was placed. On top of crappy delivery service, the food was nothing special. We will be looking for a new place to order from.

Will not deliver 4.2 miles away unless your order is $ 18 or more. My order would have been $ 15 and would have gladly tipped the driver but due to a $ 3 variance I will not be doing business with this restaurant. Was truly looking forward to it after reading the reviews.

Of the three«Chinese Food» places near my house, this place takes second in my opinion. This place is located next to Subway on Green Oaks just North of Arkansas Ln. I really liked their Sesame Chicken and the Egg Rolls which are sooo good and probably sooooo bad for you, but when you’re eating Chinese, you’re usually not eating to be healthy! Enjoy!

Simply the best Chinese eatery I have found in the DFW area! I’m a big fan of Sweet and Sour Chicken and this place has it in high quality. I also like their Orange Chicken. What is so notable about this place is that their food looks and taste like it was made from scratch not from a frozen bag.

Ordered at 7 pm. Called after an hour to check on order. Listened to them lie about the driver being busy. Took 2 hours for my order to arrive.

Are you HUNGRY? Running low on funds? Then this is the place for you. The food is great, the prices(check the specials on the wall on the right before ordering) are very low, and the portions are HUGE. If you get the specials, the prices are much lower than the non-special of the same menu item. I love the egg drop soup and chicken lo mein and my husband loves the orange chicken. We usually get two meals out of each of our orders. This place is mainly a take-out /delivery place but there are a few tables if you want to eat there. The service ~ ~ ~(me trying to wave so so with my hand) not the greatest but not bad for order at the counter place. Give them a try I’ll bet you will like it.

Try the wonton soup, it was amazing. Doesn’t look like much on the outside, but the food is legit!

Great Mei Fun noodles! Very good breading for the orange chicken, not your frozen out the bag stuff so many other places use. I have caught them being human when they ran out of egg drop soup on a Saturday night and their shift was running rough. Even then the food was good. Good family run business. Here and Panda on Matlock are the best in the Mid-Cities.

I called to see if they delivered and i got a busy signal. I proceeded to place an online order and 30 minutes later i received a phone call asking me the streets that i lived on. I gave them the address and no one showed up until an hour later. The driver then proceeded to argue with me that i lived too far. Then he had to call in my credit card number because he didn’t bring the scanner. That took another 10 minutes out side. Once i finally got inside, the food was warm, but chewy. The orange chicken was horrible. I will never order from there again.

I was really in the mood for Mexican food because of Cinco de Mayo but, Sesame House was one of very few restaurants open today that deliver to my neighborhood. I really liked how I could place my entire order online enabling me to see the subtotal before I spend. There were also some pretty nice coupons available. I got the free spring rolls for spending over $ 15 and it was totally worth it. I was a little confused as to how to confirm that my order was placed and the estimated time of arrival because the phones were off the hook. After finishing my meal, I could understand why I kept getting the busy signal. The delivery guy arrived in less than 30 minutes, and had a modern credit card machine which made my life easier. I ordered the sweet n spicy shrimp which came with rice and an egg roll(which I didn’t know about) and steamed broccoli to balance it all out. I haven’t ordered Chinese takeout in years so I was totally shocked by how much food I got. I literally only ate about 1⁄3 of the meal(it satisfied the taste bide buds but was a little to fattening for me). After I had a glass of water, I felt like a balloon! Matter of fact, I still feel like a balloon! At Sesame House, an entrée is just another word for family size!

Bunch of food for a good price. If that gets your attintion you will like Seame House. In West Arlington you do not have many choices for Chinese food. Sesame House is one of your only choices. And they are pretty good. The place is very plain mostly set up for take out and delivery. You can eat in the store but few do. I get take out. If you call ahead they will be a little faster. But I order there and the wait is less than 15 minutes. Sesame House has specials on the wall to your right. That are at a lower price. So check them out before you order. The portions are huge. One order can feed two people easily. I like the Orange chicken very good. The lo main is also good. And you will not go wrong with the soup and egg roll.

I was in the mood for some«traditional» Chinese food today and lunch and found this little gem while searching on Unilocal. There’s probably seating for around 15 in the dining/front counter area. Sesame House is mainly a «take-out» restaurant. While I was waiting for my meal, all of the tables filled up during the lunch hour. There was also a steady stream of customers picking up to-go orders. I ordered Sweet and Sour Pork. You have your choice of an egg roll or soup. Since it was cold and rainy outside, egg drop soup fit the bill perfectly. The«cup» of egg drop soup was a huge bowl. I could have almost made a meal off of it. The soup was wonderful and seasoned perfectly. My entrée came shortly after I finished the soup. It was HUGE. I wished my wife was with me because we could have shared the entrée together and probably still had some to take home with us. The sweet and sour pork was fried perfectly and wasn’t greasy at all. I opted for the steamed rice. Again the portion was huge, It looked like to me there was probably a good 3 cups of white rice on my plate. I believe I’ve found my new neighborhood Chinese restaurant that I’m going to be ordering from quite a bit. YUM!

Generous servings at a great price. My wife and I ordered from Sesame House after a long day of work because really who feels like coming home and cooking after that? They have an online ordering system interesting but we didn’t use it, I called in the order. The delivery driver was great super nice guy and fast. The sesame chicken was nice, the flavored sauce was not over powering and the portion was huge. We still have some in the fridge. The BBQ pork and broccoli was great, the sauce was a great balance but I was hoping for something more like the boneless bbq pork spare ribs in the sweet red sauce that I just can’t seem to find anywhere here in Texas but still very good. Definitely a great delivery place if you want the best bang for your buck

The restaurant atmosphere is very bare but peaceful. It’s easy to overlook such a hidden gem because the outside is so plain but you will be VERY glad if you decide to stop by. If you’re more concerned about the quality and freshness of the food instead of a super jazzy or gaudy environment, this is the perfect place! Service is always top notch when I go there and the food is sooooo flavorful but never too salty/sweet in my opinion. I absolutely love their fried rice because it’s not greasy which is hard to find. I usually go here for their orange chicken and if you get takeout, it’s $ 4.95. Pretty good price right? Except that the portions feed THREE people my size, I kid you not! Even my boss who is probably the size of Sasquatch standing at 6 foot 5 inches thinks the portions are big. So their price is INCREDIBLE for the amount that you get and they won’t skimp on the meat portions either! The food takes awhile(orange chicken is probably 10 minutes) because they make it fresh so it’s worth the wait). This is now my go-to Chinese food place for a quick and yummy lunch! Please Sesame House, if you guys read this, don’t EVER change!
