Smokey Point Sales & Service

First I want to say that my husband can be impossible to please, so car shopping with him can be a bit of a chore. The day we walked into Smokey Point Sales & Service, we had already went to 6 other car lots and my husband had about had it with pushy salesman and no one listening to what he wanted. Immediately after getting to Smokey Point Sales we were greeted and told that if we needed anything to let them know. This pleased my husband VERY much. We looked around for several minutes and found what we wanted to test drive. We did so without a bunch of hoopla. My husband asked a few questions about another truck and we got honest answers, even though it would have been a bigger sale for them. My husband was so happy with the trust and the service that we bought the truck cash right there. Which he has never done before. Thanks so much guys for making this the easiest and most comfortable car purchase ever. I know for a fact that when it comes time to buy another vehicle, you will see us again :)

So I went here looking for a used car and got ignored by not one but two employees. Thank you for nothing. Unless you are a classic car addict apparently you get nothing here.

I just purchased a nice use car from Craig at Smokey Point Auto Sales for my daughter. Family run business no sales pressure at all. Very pleasant experience. Let me test drive the car I was interested in multiple times to show my wife for approval. Very competitive pricing compared to most dealers. I do disagree with some of the negative comments posted here. These are used cars people. If you have concerns about a vehicle, have your own mechanic check it first or just buy an extended warranty to cover it. Most dealers do not get any prior history on cars they are selling. They are not going to know much more than you will about any particular car they have. Carfax will tell you some things (Craig happily provided me with one for the car I wanted to purchase). It told me this was a local 2 owner car with clean title history which helped ease my mind. Daughter loves it. Thanks Craig.

We returned to pick up our plates and as promised received our $ 10 for a good review. No, he did not pay me for this review, I’m an honest reviewer and am not persuaded by 10 dollars. He was very polite the second time around and when I need another pickup hauler at a reasonable price I’ll be back, thanks Craig.

I’m so freaking upset with owner of this dealer and how he conducts business! I was approved for a loan and for a vehicle that Craig and I have been talking about after 3 days I decided to get off work early to go and pick up the vehicle I get a call saying the owners son didn’t want to give up the car and has not been home with the vehicle I was going to buy and now he is driving around with a car I had just put insurance on, after speaking with his dad the owner, he says he’ll talk to his son and call me back, then instead of being a real man to call me and tell me he isn’t selling it he shoots me a text saying quote unquote…
«Sorry there is more going on here than you are aware of. It’s a family situation. I will work on it today. And you will have more info by the end of today…
If that doesn’t work for you I apologize but that’s the best I can do.»
Like WTF?!? What are you working on cause I know I’m already approved!
People, I do not recommend purchasing a vehicle from here due to the LACK OF COMMUNICATION & because the owner is not EMOTIONALLY STABLE TO FUNCTION his business correctly. He is just horrible! So I lost half of a days pay because I got off work early to drive out there I have to wait 5 business days to get my money back from the insurance company, and I gotta find another car now. Wasted my whole week with this BULLS*$# dealer.

We bought a truck from them this weekend and were really impressed with the dealership! Craig was great and responded really quick to my emails leading up to the visit. We didn’t feel like they were «just trying to get us in the door», but really made an effort to make sure we were getting exactly what we were looking for. They worked with us to get a great deal and even went out of their way to help us pick the truck. We really apprecia

I do not normally write reviews but I felt like I had to share my experience with Smokey Point auto Sales. I recently purchased a used Toyota Highlander in January, 2015. I took it for a test drive and one of the windows was not functional, which they agreed to fix prior to sale. I also felt a pulling on one of the brakes. The owners son looked at it and said it was just the ABS and not to worry about it. After I took it to a dealership a week later, it was a seized caliper and cost me $ 500 to fix. I had the car for about 45 days when I was driving on a road trip, and my CAR ENGINE BLEW UP. I had driven the car for less than 2500 miles. I even got an oil change two weeks prior to my road trip and the car barely made it from Seattle into Oregon. I do not believe that they did a thorough inspections on their vehicles and just to move cars off the lot. This is the type of dealership that gives Used car salesmen a bad name. STAY AWAY!!!
