I had knee swelling and severe pain. I found the receptionist and technical staff were fine and efficient — but was not happy with the Dr. D who did no manipulation of my knee, no physical diagnostics — relied on the MRI and his X-​rays. Second appointment after 3 weeks of PT — again no physical testing — and he never read the PT report. At both office visits he talked about surgery — I wanted to avoid surgery. Offered no alternatives and was quite dis-​interested in level of pain or improvements from PT. Mysterious stone-​faced assistant (NP?) asked me how my «shoulder» was doing (?)
Too weird. I immediately found another orthopedic doctor — at least they are treating the correct part — knee. Oh, and the new doctor manipulates my knee, determines the fluid could be reduced, had several suggestions for treatment and actually read the progress reports.
Don’t put up with a doctor who fails to establish trust. Even if surgery is a final option — it is not the first. nor only way to go.

My Son fractured his foot and they were able to squeeze him in on the same day. The office is very pleasant and the Dr. is great! Dr. Danaceau really listens to all your questions and concerns.

I broke my ankle over the weekend and I called Dr. Steven Danaceau’s office today and the receptionist I spoke with was very courteous and helpful. Its my second time visiting Dr. Danaceau’s office. Both times I have had great experience. I was happy to hear that they were able to bring me in today, xray and eval. I was so excited. When I arrived the office is clean and very bright. I was greeted by a very well dressed receptionist that was smiling while I was coming in. She gave me paper work and instructions. I was taken back to a room after 15 min and greeted by a friendly nurse who asked me questions about my injury. Soon after the doctor came in. I was impressed with him and trusted his diagnosis and recovery recommendation. I am glad that I did not make my decision based on the previous reviews. Maybe they replaced the receptionist they speak of. I had the most pleasant experience and will continue to recommend to my family and friends.

His receptionist is extremely unprofessional and rude. Horrible service. Never again.

The doc is one of the best I’ve ever had.
His receptionist is extremely unprofessional and even rude both over the phone and in person. When I was in the office, I watched her repeatedly cut an older lady off mid-​conversation with short, blunt, totally not-​courteous responses, as if she didn’t have time to deal with her. Over the phone she’s eager to hang up, interrupt you, and refuse to give you any form of pleasant demeanor. Worst receptionist, best doctor.

I had a great experience here. On a weekend I had been tubing and broke my pinky. I went to Urgent Care when I returned home that Sunday where they took an x-​ray and told me to follow-​up with an orthopedic surgeon.
I called Dr. Danaceau’s office first thing that Monday morning, explained my situation and they got me in that SAME DAY. The receptionist was very accommodating and understanding. It didn’t stop there, Dr. Danaceau was great! He checked out the x-​ray I brought and went over my two options. I opted for surgery under sedation at the hospital and had it scheduled within THAT WEEK. Everything transpired very quickly (which I was thankful). I believe a week or so post surgery, the pins he put in somehow shifted to where they were hitting some nerves in my hand. I called his office and informed me Dr. Danaceau was not in the office but was on-​call and had a hospital case. His office was able to reach him and explain the situation. He offered to me that day if I could come to the hospital and wait for his case to be finished. At this point, the pain was pretty bad so I was happy he was willing to see me at all! I didn’t have to wait long for him at the hospital, he came in, fixed the pins and I was out of there. No further complications. Dr. Danaceau and his staff are very professional and compassionate– highly recommend his office!

Awesome Group! The staff is very courteous and helpful. They were very responsive when I called in with concerns. Dr Danaceau sat down in front of me at eye level to examine my broken hand. He took time to listen to what I had to say. It has been an excellent experience.

I was in a car accident and injured my thumb, back and neck about 6 months ago. I called Dr. Danaceau’s office to schedule a appointment and they were able to schedule me right away. I went and the staff couldn’t of been nicer to me. They were very pleasant and helpful and the doctor was able to see me right away with very little wait. Dr. Danaceau did a x-​ray of my thumb and told me I had a microscopic fracture. He gave me a cast and referred me to physical therapy for my back and neck pain. PT was great and made me feel a lot better. My thumb is still not a 100% yet but he told me that it can take a while for a injury like this to completely heal. Dr. Danaceau continues to follow up with me to make sure I am getting better. By far he is the nicest doctor I had ever had the pleasure of seeing and I would definitely recommend him to everyone.

I agree with Rachel avoid him. On of his receptionist is unfriendly was not helpful at all I am very disappointed with the service.

Avoid this doctor. Appointments ran late, despite the five page policy page they make you sign swearing YOU won’t be late (and will be charged a large amount if you are). I went in for turf-​toe and I was only given an x-​ray, not a MRI. The diagnosis «stop running completely, and see if that gets better» No orthopedics, no PT treatment, nothing.
By far the worst — when I tried to get a copy of my x-​rays for a new doctor (one to follow up with this not-​so-​great appointment) the assistant informed me that since the x-​rays were physical only, NOT digital, I would have to «check out my x-​rays, then return them, or be charged.» What doctor doesn’t do digital x-​rays anymore?
Find another doctor, and save yourself the hassle of a follow-​up with a different doctor.
