Like mostly everyone else is saying, this is pretty identical to chic fila. A fast casual chic fila is the best way to put it. I had no issue with the food. The prices are reasonable, and the service was fine with me. I do question their choice of location, I feel it would get a lot more business if it wasn’t located in such a awkward space. If this was closer to me, I would eat here a lot more. Unfortunately it’s a 30 min drive, so I guess I have to stick with chic-fila.

I don’t give out 5 stars often, but this has to be the best and cheapest chicken place in town. Definitely coming again.

The food is made fresh to order, and it isn’t crowded. I got the 4 tenders with fries, and the people with me got the chicken sandwich and fries. The fries come with different seasoning and I got the Rosemary Black Pepper! There isn’t that many options… because it’s just chicken. but overall I enjoyed it! Service is good but they weren’t that friendly.

This is Top Shelf Chicken Strips! Incredibly fresh. The atmosphere feels high class, however this location feels a little bleak inside. I love getting fries here. Each fry order is individually made and you can choose what spices are used in its preparation.

Here for the first time. Not bad. Was impressed, chicken was juicy. And good sauce was perfect fries where fresh-cut sweet tea wasn’t too sweet, perfect. Will definitely be back

the chicken sandwich is ok and so are the french fries. the fried pickles were pretty fantastic and overall the cost of a meal was reasonable. wish I would have tried the frozen custard. I love frozen custard. super chix is a bit of a drive and I wouldn’t make the trip to go again. its just meh for the newness of it all.

Honestly I would never come here again. First of all the customer service was just awful. The girl taking my order looked annoyed. It was my first time there and she didn’t seem happy to wait for me to place my order. Secondly, the place was a mess. There was only a family in there other than myself and the tables had crumbs everywhere while the floor had fries from previous customers. The food didn’t take long but the food isn’t that great to return. I would rather buy chick fil a and have better customer service and food than return here.

I use to worship this place when they first opened around last summer. The portions were ginormous and the quality of the chicken was A+!!! They offered many introductory«grand opening» coupons and I lived off of this for the whole summer. Unfortunately they do now have any cool new coupons or offers so honestly it is a bit pricey, often times comparable to chickfila. The quality compared to chickfila is a little less consistent but it is sometimes better! Unfortunately they got my order wrong often but is very reluctant to fix their mistake. The frozen custard is very unique and freshly made so that gives this place a very nice twist that no other chicken places have(especially chickfila!). Every day they offer a different flavor so come to try them all each day of the week! Last but not least, the sweet fries… oh man the sweet fries are soooo good i often times catch myself coming here for just the fries and not the chicken. The only reason I have give the then 4 and not 5 stars is recently it appears they skimp on the fries portions. Went from a huge handful before and now I only seem to get like maybe 15 long pieces.

It’s alright. It’s an order-at-the-counter type place… no waiters/waitresses… serve your own drinks. bus your own table at the end. My kids love the chicken tenders and they make their own sauces here so that’s something. Personally, I don’t care for the sauces though — they don’t have just a regular ranch sauce. It’s dill ranch sauce. so it tastes like pickles, of which I am not a fan. I get the chicken sandwich but they are hit or miss — while the flavor is consistently good, the patties are very thin & puny sometimes, other times they’re not. We usually come on Sundays because kids eat FREE with purchase of an adult combo meal. :) Most of the time we are the only ones here on Sunday evenings… occasionally there may be one other family, but the place is usually empty and quiet. They have several tv’s, so my husband can watch the game while we eat. Ha! The very best thing about this place is their frozen custard. It tastes like ice cream and is simply delicious. They have a daily flavor and the standard vanilla and chocolate every day. Make sure you get some. :) It’s free for kids w/a kids meal purchase and if you«check in» here on Unilocal, you can getcha some free custard, too! :)

It’s a little bit similar to chick fil a in my opinion. They do have more sauces options though. I got a chicken sandwich deluxe with cheese and it was good! I forgot what sauce I had with it but you should try them all! There is also a free frozen custard with a Unilocal review. Get it! The custard is really thick and creamy and I couldn’t finish it by myself so I gave some to my friends.

The food at Super Chix is pretty good. In fact, I’d argue that their chicken sandwich(at its best) is better than the glorious chicken sandwich made famous by Chick-fil-A. The fries are also great, with three different choices(I like the sugar ones). The sauces they offer are aplenty and fresh, like all of their food. Perhaps it is their commitment to only making food when it’s ordered, a strategy that pays off taste-wise. The potential dark side of made-to-order is employee competence, something I’ve unfortunately noticed every time I’m at Super Chix. There is always a struggle for someone to meet me at the counter, as well as a negative attitude. I didn’t come to beg for a chicken sandwich, I wanted to buy and eat one. I wouldn’t even say the employees are at fault; there doesn’t seem to be any kind of manager/leadership steering the crew. The last time I was there, an employee came by our table and asked, «Does everything taste OK?» It wasn’t a happy question, it was as if he knew something was done incorrectly but maybe it turned out OK. Really not a great question to ask considering we were all already halfway through eating.(Everything tasted fine, I don’t wanna know what made him wonder.) I know off days happen and I don’t dock restaurants for them, but I’ve had an odd experience every time so SC gets 3 stars instead of 4. Even if you have to pull teeth to order and have an uncomfortable feeling about the place, as long as that chicken was made-to-order like they advertise you’re in for a great tasting sandwich!

Super Chix is Super Tasty. I know. Sorry. had to. My fiancé had come here with a family friend for lunch and raved about it, so the next time we were in the area, we had to check it out! It’s incredibly obvious that the chicken is fresh breaded, in-house. The tenders are freaking huge and 2 were plenty for me. I mean, I did also get some tasty fries… Next time, I’ve got to try the rosemary fries as I hear those are the shit. I didn’t get try to the custard(my calorie count for the day thanked me), because they were out of vanilla! I was all set to try a shake(vanilla with chocolate sauce. I just dislike chocolate/chocolate in a shake) until I found out they were out. I would also be really keen to try some of their fancy daily custard flavors as well. Nom nom. They just opened a new location right down the street from my house which is both awesome and dangerous. I need to see what days have which custard flavors and go try some out because they sound ridiculously awesome.

Giving 4 stars rather than 3 because I got 2 whole meals here for free during a visit hehe(which I will explain under service) Food: –Their chicken sandwiches remind me of Chickfila’s but their breading is different from the buns to the chicken. Honestly, I’d say Chickfila is better but here is not that bad! I thoroughly enjoyed my sandwich. –They have a few different option for fries which is nice! Service: –Their card machine server was down at the time I ordered = food was free! :-) Thank you Super Chix for the free food instead of saying we could not have any. And especially thank you for it being free because I was paying for my friend that day ;) –Food comes out promptly! Ambience: –Lots of natural lighting which I LOVE in restaurants. –Seating indoor and outdoor and the outdoor seating is shaded so sit outside if it’s a nice day! Last thoughts: –I think I would rather go to Chickfila but this place is closer to where I live than a Chickfila so I might come back here for the convenience and good attitude of the workers!

Let’s get one thing straight — as Yum! Brands response to Chick-fil-a, I’ve no choice but to compare everything about Super Chix to the competitor that they’re trying to trump. If you’re here to find out if Super Chix is a legitimate contender? Read no further — they’re not. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? Unlike Chick-fil-a, which is as constructed to quickly move people through lengthy lines as it is to seat you and your family, I got the vibe from Super Chix that they intended their customers to sit down a while, which I appreciated. Not crowded on a Friday afternoon, the atmosphere was more Five Guys than Chick-fil-a, with servers who were friendly(although not as friendly as Chick-fil-a) and accommodating. I ordered, I sat for a little bit, and I quickly got my food soon after. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? I don’t recall Chick fil a’s exact prices, but Super Chix is certainly coming in hot with some real value. I opted for the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich, which was staggeringly only $ 3.95. As you’ll see in the picture, it was comparable in size to what Chick fil a dishes up, which pleased me. Custard and fries were priced to sell as well. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? It’s here that Super Chix really fell short. While CFA is notorious for massive pieces of chicken that often bulge from within a reasonably large(or reasonably small?) bun, you can see that Super Chix certainly had a smaller portion of meat. That’s not the end of the world, but it’s worth noting. What was the end of the world for me was how this sandwich went from standard chicken sandwich to «Nashville Hot». At CFA, their Spicy Chicken Sandwich is absolutely legendary, and is fantastically spicy and flavorful even underneath the breading with no sauce involved whatsoever. It’s wonderful. Super Chix, on the other hand, simply took a standard piece of chicken, dunked it in buffalo-ish sauce, and served it up as a Nashville Hot sandwich. It didn’t cut it, and the spicy flavor didn’t penetrate beneath the sauce. From there things didn’t get too much better, with very mediocre fries that were partially limp and too thin. One thing I will point out is that my frozen custard(chocolate) was absolutely phenomenal, and blows say a Frosty out of the water by a long shot. However, my meal at Super Chix was well short of CFA as a whole. No Star Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? Chick-fil-a has better sandwiches and better fries. The end. No Star Granted.

Don’t ask me why but every time I ride by Super Chix in Arlington I instantly want to sing Super Freak by Rick James and then the song gets stuck in my head. Anyway, husband wanted a fast and cheap lunch so we went to Super Chix. Super Chix, Super Chix, Super Chicky. yowww. The menu is pretty straightforward and it’s pretty cheap. Their chicken contains no added hormones or anything like that. Fried, no grilled options. The chicken tenders are pretty plump so 3 tenders was enough for me. I got the salted fries, my husband got the sweet and salty. The french fries were awesome. I know everyone raves about the rosemary and black pepper fries, but I am not a fan of rosemary. Go with the sweet and salty! The sauces? Yes, the cucumber dill ranch is magical just like Heather said. Loved it with my fries and chicken! Kids had the strawberry custard and was pretty good.

I really LOVE this place. The chicken doesn’t come out too salty and their dipping sauce is really good. I usually opt for their spicy sauce because I like that extra kick. A way I would describe this place is Chik-f-ila meets Smashburgers. It’s a more refined semi-fast food joint. They pride themselves with high quality ingredients and I can feel confident that when I’m eating here– I’m not eating freezer burned meat. I’m eating piping hot made to order chicken tenders. They make them pretty fast too. I order is typically complete by the time I finds a spot to sit down. Their seasoned fries are drool worthy but what makes them extra delicious is when you dip them into their frozen custard. The frozen custard flavors are always on rotation and they can be quite amazing. There was this blackberry cheesecake one that I still droll about. I sometimes wish there was like a Super Chix flavor app that would let me know which frozen custard flavor is on rotation. Do yourself a favor and just try this place already. It’s really good– and don’t forget to check for a free small custard! :D

«The last original chicken sandwich» is their slogan. I can clearly see why after I finished lunch there this afternoon. Why didn’t I try this place earlier? It’s like Chick-Fil-A and Wingstop had a baby. Customer service was great, the cashier Russell was nice. Highly recommend the Deluxe Chicken Sandwich, which I chose to adorn with jalepenos as well. I liked the different seasoning options available for your fries, which are hand-cut! I decided to try both the Rosemary Black Pepper(slightly overpowering) and the Specialty Seasoning, which I really enjoyed. If I ordered the Rosemary fries again I would ask for light seasoning. I also tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich which wasn’t habanero flavored like I expected(idk why?), but ended up being more chili-y. I preferred the Deluxe. There are different sauces to choose from as well, and I didn’t know which one to pick so I got to try each of them. My fav was the house sauce. I’d like to come back and try them with their chicken strips! Their dessert is as amazing as the food! As I checked in on Unilocal!I obtained a coupon for a free cup of frozen custard, which I didn’t know about — make sure to use it! I tried Swiss Chocolate and wow, it was amazing. All in all, I’ll deff be back. The quality is phenomenal and at a more than decent price! $ 3.95 for a sandwich and $ 1.95 for fries. Loved the atmosphere and the modern vibe. To think I’ve driven by so many times before, uncertain. Smh.

Super Chix is a great alternative to Chick fil-a. The chicken tenders and burger are very tasty, but you MUST order the frozen custard! They have a different flavor for each day of the week. Guess I’ll have to come here at least 6 more times! The deluxe chicken burger with the haystack onions was my choice for dinner. It was moist and seasoned well. The 6pc chicken tenders with dipping sauces did not disappoint. The signature sauce was the winning sauce over the honey mustard as it had a peppery kick. The fries with the signature seasoning was a flavor I’ve never tried before in my fries. Brown sugar? Yum! The best part of the meal? The Butter Pecan frozen custard! *Drool* Two scoops of this delicious goodness. I left a very satisfied customer!

Service: 5⁄5 –My lunch break was cut short but Super Chix is super fast. My order was ready to go after I paid. Food: 5⁄5 –At roughly $ 1 per tender, these are excellent. Tender and moist with flavor. Wish I had a chance to eat them with the dipping sauce but I was eating while driving and didn’t want to make a mess. –Oddly enough, I get cravings for Super Chix. I went to get some after finishing this review.
