First time I ever ordered here and it was very good! They even delivered a chocolate milkshake to my daughter!!! Good job guys keep up the good work! Good delivery places are hard to find especially in this little town. Very surprised this time!!! The last time I left a review the food was very good, But this time I have to say the steak and cheese subs were just okay the meat was a little fatty. As far as the brownie sundaes go; I was expecting a warm brownie on the bottom of vanilla frozen yogurt, with whip cream and walnuts and chocolate chips! What we got was very soupy cold yogurt sprinkled with a tiny bit of brownies, whip cream, walnuts and very hard chocolate chips it was very disappointing! It was NOT worth 8.99 for something just thrown together. Too bad because of that I was just turned off by everything!!! I won’t be ordering from this place again!!!

I ordered a chicken salad on foodler and got this huge glob of mayonnaise, with shredded bits of chicken mixed in, on top of the salad. And dressing on top of that hot mess? Never doing that again. One more star because of froyo.

The food is meh for quick food that will fill you up. I’m a sucker for easy and fast salads. The«manager» however, is a jerk. I order a pizza and go in to pick it up and ask for plates. Plural, for my multi– person pizza. He hands me one plate and refuses to hand me any more. I also need to ask for a bag to carry the pizza, salads, and condiments I have gathered myself to my home. This guy hands me a bag and doesn’t even offer to bag anything up, then asks me to tip him. Yeah, right. So, one star for food, negative stars for service. Go if you don’t mind demanding good service and dealing with an argumentative jerk.

Really disappointed in this place. I was a frequent customer(probably too frequent) that always enjoyed the food here but the past 3 times its just not the same. First off I found a hair in a sub I ordered, next time my food came and they forgot my drink but the last time just completely turned me off from Arlington café. I ordered a chicken salad wrap, bag of chips and a drink which came to $ 16 with tip which is honestly extremely overpriced. The wrap itself came to $ 10, they charge $ 1.50 to add cheese which is literally 1 piece of cheese they put on(ridiculous). My wrap came it was falling apart and not wrapped properly, just a giant mess and for $ 10 I absolutely expect someone who knows what they’re doing to make me a wrap that can justify being $ 10. Place is just over priced and mediocre. You’ll get the same thing from your run of the mill pizza shop… except they won’t charge you $ 15 for a drink, small bag of chips and a wrap.

Just doesn’t do it for me. It’s one of only a few restaurant-type places near where I live now(near = within a five-minute walk), and it’s kind of sad because I was excited about having a generic pizza-pasta-sandwich place near by, but I just don’t find the food here very good, at all. I’ve ordered from probably about 80% of the generic Italian/Mediterranean-ish things in Somerville area available on Foodler, and been to a bunch of others, and this place just seems below average to me compared to all of those. I don’t really know what it is, but the taste/flavor are just kind of off in an unpleasant way. The prices are also a bit higher than in comparable places, which may be an Arlington adjustment, but you can get a cheaper and larger order of fries from other places. Just not a fan, which is sad for me as it’s in a perfect location for me to pick up food from on the way home. But after a handful of tries focusing on different parts of the menu, I’m tabling it for good.

How to lose a customer… To say that Arlington Café will not receive my business would be an understatement. To say that I will take every opportunity to share my experience with Arlington Café based on how I was treated this evening would be putting it lightly. This evening we ordered two buffalo grilled chicken wraps via foodler for pick up. I received a call from an unknown number within seconds of completing my order telling me that«the wraps come with certain ingredients and we do not usually put blue cheese dressing on the side», something I requested for my wrap. Befuddled by the statement since food is made to order, I explained that I would be eating it later and would like the blue cheese on the side. After he argued with me about the(dare i say) special ingredients in a grilled buff wrap ie: lettuce, tomato, chicken, hot sauce and blue cheese *real special* he agreed to put on the side. Within moments I received an email from Foodler stating that Arlington Café requested a $ adjustment to increase the cost of the order. I was shocked — it’s obvious that with such terrible customer service that the ‘café’ has plenty of time to put the effort in to adjust a $ 1 fee that was never agreed on and is quite frankly, ridiculous. When i went into the store and asked the unsavory ‘owner’ why i was charged the $ 1 fee, he went on to explain that putting the dressing on the side was ‘extra work’ and they charge for everything that differs from the menu. I recognize that it’s a business and things cost money — but i did not ask for an ‘extra’ — i asked for something on the side and cannot fathom why that would justify a charge. Little to do with a $ 1 charge, my frustration with this persons unfathomable arrogance, I pushed back and asked why they would take the time to call me, make an adjustment via foodler(all of which take a hell of a lot more ‘time’ then putting my blue cheese on the side) would be worth losing a customer. Again, his arrogant and rude response was for me to not come back or be prepared to pay for an changes to the menu. Rude ‘Owner’ of Arlington Café, I can tell you that you’ve clearly shown the cheap and terrible service you provide. A $ 1 means nothing to me, but is clearly the principle of your ridiculous(lack of) customer service. The day that a customer asked for money off of an item since they did not want lettuce or ketchup or whatever YOU would justify as ‘less work’ for you and your cooks would be a funny day. I love to support local stores and shops but yours I will never support again. I hope others take note — the moment when a so called dining establishment is irritated by a less than difficult request is the day that the doors of the so-called establishment should be permanently closed.

I have ordered from Arlington Café several times using Foodler. I live in Waltham in an odd complex that is usually very hard to find, yet the delivery driver has continually found it each time. The food usually takes 45 – 60 minutes, but that’s expected as I live in Waltham, not Arlington. The food is delicious here and always HOT on arrival. I love the Steak and Cheese wrap, however it is a little small. Size perspective, it’s smaller than a Chipotle burrito. But it’s so delicious! Their mozzarella sticks could be cooked a little more, but they’re still delicious. Oh and their curly fries are just too good NOT to get. I wasn’t a fan of the meatball sub but only because I didn’t really like their marinara sauce, but the meatballs themselves were pretty good. This will most likely be my go-to delivery service while living in my current apartment.

Not bad, not great. Exact combination of Papa Gino’s and Dominos. came in the exact time that was promised. thin, crispy pizza, crust a little too crispy for our liking. Not a bad pie but probably won’t be ordering again

Ordered off of Foodler. I am a nanny and often request that the delivery man doesn’t ring the bell. This is the only time they actually listened! Delivered much earlier than expected and pizza was piping hot. Great delivery experience!

Called for delivery, told 45 minutes. It’s now been an hour and a half, and still no sign of the delivery driver. Major failure to manage expectations for hungry customers; had we known it would have been 90+ minutes, we’d have ordered elsewhere. EDIT: Bumped to 3 stars because the food is delicious. Would be a 5 star had delivery not been sooooo late.

You lost 1 star for the fact you don’t put olives in the greek salad! i just can’t get over how ridic it is for the salad to not come olives when it’s a GREEK salad and the reasoning is «most ppl ask for no olives.» It’s pretty crazy that I have to pay extra to get a few olives on there. It’s like getting a pad thai and have it come with no peanuts on top bc people are allergic to peanuts. then it’s no longer authentic. So I’m taking away 1 star for this fact and this fact alone. otherwise I love your food.

We order from here all the time and have never been disappointed. Pizza is always good, love their crust and they use good quality ingredients. Buffalo fingers are awesome, calzones are great. Excellent go to take out place, reliable, quick and friendly. Good guys running the place.

I haven’t eaten here in person, but I’ve ordered takeout twice from here, and both times have been more than satisfied. Jalapeño Poppers: the best I have ever had in this area, hands down. They’re cooked well, but not overcooked, and are just perfectly soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. These alone would make me a fan of this place. Caesar Salad: very good Calzone: fine Crispy Spicy Fries: fine Side Salad: fine Pasta: fine, and they were willing to make multiple adjustments(such as making it vegetarian) without any problems. Needed salt, but I’d rather have something that needs salt(which I can easily add myself) than something too salty(can never seem to find my desalination equipment when I need it), so I’d rather places err on the side of caution there. Customer Service: I have not had any problems at all.

Ordered online. Never came until I called almost an hour later. They stated they had not«gotten» the order but then called right back to make sure i didn’t want cheese on my breadsticks. I believe they just didn’t check to make sure if they had an order. Small order of breadsticks and icecream showed up 20 minutes later(total of 1 hour and a half). Breadsticks were burnt and icecream was ok. Will not be ordering from here again as that is not how I would have dealt with the situation. Needless to say I paid almost $ 13 for burnt breadsticks and icecream without an apology and I live directly across the street. I could have walked to go get my food had I of known they weren’t going to check and send me burnt breadsticks!

We recently moved to Arlington and received a coupon for a free small pizza. I just called to use it and they told me the coupon didn’t exist. This is one of those coupons you receive in a welcome package(one that businesses usually pay money to be a part of). The guy on the phone wouldn’t honor it and got his«manager» on the phone. The«manager» answers and just says hello, no how can I help you or anything. He then tells me that I’m making it up basically. Why would you offer something to new people in the area and not honor it? I was planning to order more than just the free pizza, and if it was good it could have become our new place, but now I will NEVER give these people any business after I was treated so rudely.

I work in A-town just a few minutes from the Arlington Café and I love this place. They have an awesome selection of pizza, sandwiches, and sides. My fave sandwich is the #41(give it a try, you will like to too). They have some great and different selections. I have to say that my favorite thing about this place is that they will deliver you FROZENYOGURT! Now, I work with teenage girls and they can be a handful… knowing that some fro yo is just a call away is pretty sweet!

I would have gladly given the Arlington Café a 4 or even 5 stars, because the food is really amazing. However, after waiting for an hour and five minutes I decided to call and check on my order. She then told me that the driver just left 5 minutes ago. The pizza and calzone arrived cold. It’s too bad, and I hope that they will speed up the delivery system they have there, because I love the food, and all the options!

Well, I really want to like this place and I haven’t given up on it yet. I mean, there’s really no other place in the suburbs where you can get falafel pizza or an avocado and brie sandwiche. Wow, it’s even open until 11pm. But, the food just isn’t as great as it should be. It’s pretty miserable actually, practically inedible. Everything I’ve had has been pretty bland or just too salty. The sausage pizza is better than the meatloaf sandwiche. Last time i went there, i ordered a grilled chicken sandwiche with artichoke, prosciutto, capers, and mushrooms or something. When i got back home, i realized they forgot to put the chicken on the sandwiche. Seriously, wtf? The remaining toppings/bread combo was pretty salty gross. I don’t even think the chicken would have made it better. i’ll probably go back like 3 more times before i give up. i feel like i keep getting tricked. don’t get tricked.
