Ordered via third party app for delivery. Delivery came in 30 min! Food was good, piping hot on arrival. Crab Rangoon gets a thumbs up, crispy and yummy, 6 pieces in a small. Vegetable lo mein was good too, not super flavorful but the veggies tasted and looked fresh(bell peppers, mushrooms, carrots, onions, bean sprouts). My late night Chinese craving was completely satisfied!

Do you live in Arlington? Is it past 11 and nothing’s open because our town is kind of a joke when it comes to the wants and needs of a modern globalized society? Have you had three-too-many 40’s of King Kobra malt-liquor? Then tiki-in is the place for you. There’s nothing better than a hot-plate of the generals chicken, with a side of crab rangoons from triki-in to offset the dangerous amounts of alcohol flowing through your bloodstream. Have I had it sober? No. Do I need to to know it’s the best Chinese food to get at twelve heif in the A.M. No. Just get it. The foods great and though you may feel intense amounts of shame about the intense amounts of shame-gau you have eaten the night before, you’ll still be happy you put it in your body. P. S. I was reading a review by somebody complaining some Chinese-food places lobster sauce wasn’t authentic enough. Like, Guy, why are you ordering lobster sauce from a Chinese food place? I don’t trust lobster anything unless i watched the thing get boiled alive myself. Lobster sauce, get over yourself. I bet you’d go to Taco Bell and complain that their crunch wrap supremes aren’t like the Taco’s they served you in Tijuana.

I was nervous about trying this, given the recent reviews… But was really impressed!!! I got food from another local Chinese food establishment recently and was disgusted… But this! Quick, close to my house, delicious, cheap! I was actually super impressed by both the meat quality and amount and quality of vegetables, unlike others. Maybe the new sign has brought in new standards? Either way, I am pumped to have a great local Americanized Chinese food source for all my cravings!

This is a decent place that I have been going to for lunch for just over four years. It’s not the best around, but it is pretty good. The portions are generous, the pricing is reasonable, and the taste is very good. They seem to have an endless variety of Combo dishes, so you’re sure to find one that suits your taste. I am very particular about my rice, and while it’s not the best around, it’s very good nonetheless. Their chicken chow mein is very tasty and fresh. The staff is always kind and polite and they usually can accommodate most any reasonable request. I find that it definitely saves time to call your order in ahead, since they make most of your meal to order. They have about three or four tables available if you want to eat in, but this is primarily a take-out place. They also deliver to the general vicinity, although I’ve never used it myself. Several people I work with near Alewife T station have had delivery from them and they are all very pleased with the service. Overall, a decent place, good food, reasonable price and convenient if you are in East Arlington or North Cambridge.

Not sure why the reviews aren’t good, but I’ve ordered from this place a million times and super happy every time. Good prices, good food = 5 stars.

I was really not into Tiki-In based on first impressions — peeking in the windows, the reviews here on Unilocal. But, you know, it’s open relatively late, the sign has(had!) vintage appeal(it says(said!) «Open Until Late»), and when it comes to generic Chinese take-out, where are we supposed to draw the line, exactly? North of Tiki-In, I guess. The steamed vegetables certainly were fine. I actually thought the Ma-Po Tofu was above average for this kind of place, but I’m not the expert here. My husband, a connoisseur of greasy Hot & Sour soups, didn’t finish his and that’s pretty decisive. Plus, the noodle soup tasted, objectively, like dishwater. And the whole mess, was, dare I say it, overpriced? You heard it here first. So, we’ll not be making that mistake again.(Plus, they updated their sign, so they no longer have even that going for them.)

Alright first off a few months ago this place would have been a 2 star, but I think they went under new management and new menu, and there food has stepped up. The portions are large and the food is greasy. They have consistently awesome Chinese food. They have an expansive menu with a massive combo section where is where its at. You get a main protein, a massive pile of pork fried rice and two appetizers of your choice. My favorite dish there is their orange beef, to bad they dont have it in a combo and you can only get it in large size. Its one of the latest resturants open in the area, and the service is FAST. FInding a place to park can be a pain.

Portions: large. Price: small. Speed at which you receive food after ordering: quick. Hours: open later than a lot of other places in A-Town. I was starving, he was starving. We were driving home on route 2. We decided to hit this place up, as it was late on a Sunday, and we didn’t know for sure that anywhere else was open. He used to stop here while working overnights at the tow company. He said the general gau’s was good. This means very little to me, because I don’t like the general’s chicken, nor do I really like fried rice dishes, and the other go-to-dishes he orders. He ordered General Gau’s. I ordered pad thai. I didn’t think I’d have to specify that I wanted vegetables in it… I guess I should have. I got chicken, and not much else. Flavor: low. Grease: high. Happiness after eating: ugh. I’d try it again, but be ordering in a completely different way, now that I know what type of chinese food it is.

This is greasy Chinese food. It’s well-made and greasy. You know whatchagettin’ my friend… I ordered Pork Fried Rice, Boneless Spareribs, Kung Pow Chicken with Peanuts, and an Egg Roll. All fresh, delicious and greasy. The Egg Roll was FULL of cabbage and tasty bits of pork. THANKYOU!

Terrible. I’m not sure why I went here, other than the fact that I am a bit adventurous with cuisine. I had a bad feeling as soon as I walked into the place. Grungy, and lit by dim, flickering fluorescent lamps. But, see, I rationalized it as: well, I’ve had some good food in some strange places before. Uh-uh. Bad idea. I ate enough to satisfy my hunger, but I ended up simply tossing the rest in the trash. And I HATE doing that. Soggy egg rolls. Unidentifiable and overcooked vegetables. Disgusting.
