I have had my hair cut there a total of three times, and I must say that everyone that I have had interaction with there have been pleasant, friendly and patient. The first time the girl who cut my hair, cut my hair exactly the opposite of the way that I informed her of how I wanted it cut. I had specifically shown her to cut my hair over my ears at a downward angle from front to back, we’ll she cut it upward from front to back, and I will say that if that was the way that I wanted it cut, that it would have been just fine and a descent haircut. The second time I went there Brian cut my hair and did a surprisingly good job (pretty much the way I asked, and it lasted for a long while), I went back for a third time today and made the mistake of letting the girl who cut it the first time have a second Go at it. I specifically told her how I wanted the tops/​sides cut, and to thin it out in certain places and to only trim the very tips off of the back, but not too much. (my hair was well below my collar and I was planning on growing it longer,) as I showed /​explained this to her, she told me that she understood as she was focusing her attention on someone else. Well, I guess she either did not understand or she decided that she knows better than myself, how I like my hair cut, and how I should be forced to walk around wearing my own hair, because she cut my hair in the back well above my collar. So now It will be two or three more months before It will be back to where I started, so I guess I get to wear my hair the way she see’s fit, rather than the way I know it looks best. Again, If that had been the way I wanted it to be cut, then it would have been a very descent hair cut, but it was not the style that I requested and had instructed her to give me, So if you want someone to cut your hair that either does not understand or pay attention to the way you want your hair style to be, or if you want someone else to decide which is the best way for you to walk around wearing your own hair, then by all means, go to this salon, roll the dice and see what you come up with. Good luck !!! But overall, I must say the hair cuts have been descent in appearance, and I can tell that the people there are talented at cutting hair and for a very descent price, (maybe could pay just a little more attention to my instructions), So it’s not all bad, I guess I just need to get them trained specifically on my hair and then it will all be OK !! I will not give up just yet !! But, I will only let Brian cut my hair in the future. I am certainly glad that my hair grows at a very fast rate. We will see which direction the stars go on the next haircut. Will they move up or down?

Brian has been cutting my hair since 2010 and I have yet to find someone who is as skilled as him with clippers. My haircut is fairly simple with a zero fade but every where else I go they seem to mess it up or the lines are not even. The only reason I have had to go to other places were because of distance but I have literally lived in Denton and Lewisville and driven all the way to South Arlington because of the guarantee that I would get a darn good hair cut at the best price in town. Sure there may be big salons that would charge $ 40 for my haircut and maybe rub my shoulders a little bit but I can walk into trendsetter and pay $ 13 and talk sports with Brian and walk out there thinking «man my hair looks good.» Give these guys a shot if you need a haircut. I can’t speak for women but for guys Brian is a master of his craft.

Decided to try here, since one can never get the same person at a place like Great Clips, and Great Clips didn’t have any coupons available, while Trendsetter did. Went on a Wednesday afternoon, no one there, so got right in. Vina washed and cut my hair, and did a pretty good job, for a first time customer. Only drawback is the location, which is rather far south from central Arlington than I thought. Very reasonable, and very well kept up, so I recommend giving them a try.

I’ve been going here for years and have always been completely satisfied with the job they do. Brian is meticulous, professional and friendly. We also take our elementary school age son here and can’t imagine taking him to one of those awful chains ever again. The prices are very reasonable. I’d highly recommend them.

I went here bc the prior review. I had the guy cut my hair and now I want to cry. I had the length down to my mid back and it was all one length. I told him just cut a inch off. He put in layers and the shortest one was to my shoulders.
You may ask why didn’t she stop him? I noticed the second after he took a clip and what am I supposed to do then? All I could do was tell myself I would grow it out.
