Uptown Cheapskate Arlington

Wasn’t really feeling this particular location. The customer service is lacking here, no one greeted me upon walking in. I know they saw me enter the store because they watched as I walked in but turned away immediately.
Besides the underwhelming customer service, the clothing is hit or miss. They had some decent things in there, but they also had some very cheap looking things that were clearly not from their buy/​sell rotation. I’m thinking they just bought some cheap clothes to put on the racks at a markup. I understand you may not have enough clothes to fill the store, but really?
Yeah, not going back to this location. It’s a shame because I do like a few of their other locations, this one is the worst I’ve been to though.

I’ve been here more than once, and the staff has been absolutely inconsiderate each and every time. You can see on their face that they don’t want to be there, they hate their job. They don’t greet you, they don’t smile, when you want to sell something they really don’t want to and you can tell. Which this is terrible for the retail business. This reflects poorly on the managers because they didn’t do their job of hiring the right people and they don’t address this problem. I do not feel welcomed at the store and I do not want to spend money at a place that hates that I’m there.

I stopped by here for a few minutes per a reccomendation and I was impressed! The store was bright and clean and larger than I expected. There is a TON of stuff to look through but I was looking for two particular items for Halloween and found them in under 10 minutes. There was a large staff on hand so checkout was a breeze and they were friendly and polite. I will be returning when I have more time to see if there is anything I can’t live without.

when i first brought my clothes in, to sell in (and i had like a ton of cute clothes) and the only reason why i wanted to sell them is because i grew and gained a little weight so the clothes didn’t fit anymore. They only chose 5 shirts out of the rest. They offered me around $ 8 cash or $ 10 store credit. like really!!! 8 dollars for 5 almost brandnew shirts that are all from the top store brands ??? it was a rip off. and with that -$ 10 store credit– i was only able to buy one shirt from that store. (used of course) woww what a great deal. jk it’s not. dont sell your clothes there. minus well save it and start your own garage sale, you could make like 3 times more out of your clothes rather than that rip off store. They really should offer a higher rate on our clothes or lower down the cost of USED clothes. isnt this suppose to be a thrift store not a rip off store? jeez. and the way they organize the items are very frustrating. it would probably take me 5+ hours to actually look through everything and find exactly what i want. not to mention the staff there are really rude, unhelpful and stuck up. not exaggerating at all. their customer service is definitely unacceptable. they really should improve more on their store if they dont want this many complaints and unhappy customers.

Customer service is alright. Not amazing but acceptable. They buy clothing and accessories but the prices they pay are absolutely awful. Might as well just donate it. Their prices however on their clothing aren’t too shabby! I’m impressed with the selection and organization! I would recommended it for a good deal. However, they don’t have sales most of the time.

Literally was disgusted with this place. It was dirty, had the most rude staff and was an overall bad place to shop. It looked like they just bought a crap ton of cheap China made products and put it on their shelves with a 24.99 price tag. It’s a thrift shop!!! Will never be returning.

This place does have amazing deals, however the staff including the store manager follow certain customers around the store. I have worked in the retail industrial for over 20 years and yes, I know all the tricks of the trade. I recommend going to Watauga, Lewisville or Frisco. They do not care about the dark color of skin, just the color of money… green! the only one that matters!

Totally not impressed with this place. From the website, they mention buying/​selling name brand clothing. I brought some dresses I bought on Final Sell from the Loft and was only offered money for one of the three dresses. But that was not a big deal, I could understand this place was for a younger crowd. What I was a little surprised to see was Target’s Xhilaration brand on the racks. If they only dealt with name brand clothes (as mentioned on their website), why did they have Xhilaration brand clothes and shoes (nothing against Target)? It was a first (and last) for me to bring clothes in to sell rather than donate. I guess I’ll have to keep looking for a place to appreciate new, «older» adult clothes.
