So after dropping a contact down the sink, debating trying to get it out with a drain cleaner and then wisely deciding to find an optometrist who had an opening at the last minute, I was happy to find that I could be fit in at the last minute here.
I came, filled out the intake form, which was a bit longer than I’m used to for an optometrist, but manageable. Maybe get there about 5 – 10 mins early to fill out the medical history for the prescription exam.
Dr. Phan was professional and kind. I was happy with the exam and it included all the basics. Who doesn’t love that puff of air in the eye?
Recommended for a contacts prescription. They take some insurances, but my doesn’t cover vision, so the exam and trial pair cost $ 89, which was the best I could find in Arlington.
There’s an extra cost if you need contacts with astigmatism correction.

I have never had any issues here like some of my fellow Unilocalers. it has never been crowded and I’ve never had to wait for my glasses or contacts.
I came here out of convenience and necessity– our vision plan changed at work and this was the closest clinic to home that accepted our plan. The place is clean and smells nice– bonus. They do have a lot of fancy frames– Prada, Gucci, Versace– but I have never felt pressured to upgrade anything. Matter of fact I always bring my own frames and they are just as happy to stuff my lenses in for me.
I really like the doctor– he always tells me my eyes are beautiful lol. He also mentions they are healthy and I’m doing a good job not sleeping in my contacts– but whatever– priorities. They carry the brand of contacts like love too– Acuvue Oasys– so that my eyes don’t dry out all day.

Everyone is really nice, but they get extremely busy so being helped can take awhile, even with an appointment. Their selection of frames is nice, but don’t expect them to order anything not available on the floor (different frame color).
