I had the breakfast sandwich with sausage, egg, cheese, jalapenos, avocado… it was rich but omg so good. I was tired and a little hung over and this was the perfect cure for me. Minus 1 star for the staff. Not friendly, couldn’t care less and did not smile at all. This was at 10 am on a Saturday.

Sorry, reviewed the wrong store. Can’t delete reviews apparently, though. Will arbitrarily give a 5.

Fast, friendly and efficient. I love their model, their apps and customer service. Always great to have them for lunch or dinner. Tonnes of options for vegetarians as well. Great eatery for Ballstonians

I like Which and Wich better than Subway as some Unilocalers posted. Taste: Really fresh and simple. I had an Italian style one. Price: $ 5 – 10. Big portion. Customer service: Not too friendly but really fast. Tip: Join their club and get a birthday free sandwich!

it’s better than subway and the portions are huge. I will say that this particular store can be somewhat slow at times, so be ready for that.

Good sandwiches from a simple place with wide variety of options. Which Wich is similar to Potbelly(which I really like) but has more options, I think — although it’s possible that the options being visible just makes it seem like there’s more than when someone’s running you through the options verbally. The milkshakes are alright but I wasn’t particularly wowed; I do like that they have a pineapple milkshake though. The staff is friendly, although you don’t interact with them much because of the clever ordering system — you check off all your topping choices on brown bags keyed to each of the primary protein options.

*Stomach grumbles*…lunch time. I walk across the street and suddenly it hits me, «There are so many places for lunch in the area, what do I want to eat?» Before I can answer myself, I notice I am standing inside Which Wich, half way done neatly filling in the circles on the brown paper bag, that serves as my order slip and my to-go bag. Which wich calls to my subconscious. It’s delicious tomato & avocado sub beckons me. Slather me in buffalo sauce, it says. Give me mayo and load me with delicious veggies. Sprinkle me with crushed red pepper… paint me like one of your french sandwiches… In all seriousness though, Which wich is an excellent place to eat out for lunch, and on the few occasions that I go out for lunch, I’ll go here. The staff at this location are friendly and the restaurant is very clean. The subs are made perfectly each time and they are so delicious. Not to mention massive. The small is enough for one meal, but if you get the large, that’ll hold you off for pretty much the rest of the day. Trust me, this place is awesome.

I like the idea, but the sandwich wasn’t great and it was too expensive. I ordered the cheese steak, which turned out to be roast beef with cheese, not your standard cheesesteak. And with a drink and chips it cost me over $ 16! There wasn’t a lot of meat on the sandwich. Hard fail on the cheesesteak here.

I should preface this review by saying that Which Wich is my all-time favorite sandwich place. I lived in Austin for four years and worked two blocks from a location that I frequented at least twice a week for lunch. My recommendation is the Chicken Pesto hotwich on wheat with mozzarella cheese, spinach, tomatoes, and pickles. The brownies are always pretty good and the banana milkshakes are insanely delicious — just don’t check the calories online. There are three things that keep this location from getting five stars: 1. They have one of those super annoying touchscreen soda machines that take forever, where everything comes out of one nozzle, and where your soda tastes like a combination of what the three people before you had to drink. 2. The two times I’ve been to this location, the people working haven’t been that friendly. They weren’t rude, just zero personality/interaction at all. In Texas, the workers always acknowledged you when you came in, which could also get annoying, but you get what I’m saying. 3. It’s got a really weird layout. The interior is somewhat triangular, and unfortunately where you pick up your sandwich and where the double doors are to get in/out are in almost the exact same spot. Not a huge deal if it’s empty, but I can imagine if there’s any sort of a lunch crowd it may be problematic. Overall Which Wich is a great place and a franchise that has slowly been working its way east. If you haven’t tried it, you should!

I am not impressed with these sandwiches. I really despise sandwiches that consist of mostly bread. The bread is also quite hard. The sandwich is filled to the brim with lettuce, which consists of nasty shredded iceberg lettuce. What is the purpose of eating iceberg lettuce? It really serves no purpose at all. The cheese is barely noticeable and the tiny amount of meat is of low quality. I also really do not like the ordering process. I was so confused as to what to do when I first came here, until I realized that I had to pick up a bag and indicate what I wanted, only for the woman to end up asking me for what type of sandwich I wanted and what I wanted on it. What is the purpose of me taking the three minutes it took to fill out the information on the bag if you’re just going to take my order anyway? I digress. A new location just opened up this week in DC, right around the corner from my job, so I would be willing to try the breakfast and see how that fares.

Solid sandwiches with the ability to order something over 12″ if you’re super hungry. Flavors are great and the prices are reasonable. I especially love how customized you can make the sandwich(if you’re in the mood) at no additional cost.

Which Wich serves a perfectly good sandwich with lots of possible toppings. However, I won’t be returning because I can walk two blocks down the street and(1) get a much better sandwich for the same price at Taylor Gourmet, or;(2) get an equally as good sandwich for half the price at Jimmy Johns. Sorry Which Wich.

I don’t get the hype over this place — it appeared to be pretty popular, so I finally tried it out. It’s not bad or anything, but it’s just not anything special either. It’s kind of like a hipper version of Subway, in my humble opinion. Perhaps I should give it another go, but for now I can only say that it works in a pinch but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get a sandwich here. Prices were reasonable and there is nice outdoor seating — so there are some perks!

Sometimes you just want to change it up! Looking for something to eat in the city, during lunch, can sometimes turn into a quest. So many choices and eateries within a block radius to choose from but at the same time… no interest in any of them! Have you ever been there? Standing on a block just clueless and perplexed over a food choice… LOL! On this particular hump-day, I was having one of those moments. I was in the mood for«something» for lunch but, just could not put my finger on it. The thoughts of burgers jumped in my head, Peruvian chicken, Thai, a salad bar and even Chick-fil-A! I mean who can skip or opt out of having a Chick-fil-A sandwich for lunch?! Well that was me… and my decisional-paralysis state for lunch. So while walking down the strip of eateries, I decided on Chipotle, which is nothing but a combination of all of the foods mentioned above + skimpy servings! LOL Reluctant to go in for some odd reason, I became very indecisive and anxious… for that«sumthin’ sumthin’!» Low and behold, next door to the Chipotle, there was a sandwich shop called ‘Which Which!’ I had never been to this place nor did I know what to expect. One thing for sure, I was not really feeling a boring ol’ sandwich. But, needless to say, it was like my internal stomach compass lead me to this place. I guess the old saying…‘follow your gut’…really works! LOL Lead by instict and a growling stomach, I walked-in and noticed a sign that said«Limited Time Only… The Signature Banh Mi Sandwich!» Based on a picture of the sandwich advertised, my mind was made up and sold! Without a doubt, this was one of the best mid-week lunch decisions ever! The ‘Which Which’ Banh Mi is the truth! Don’t get me wrong here. Even I questioned ordering a Banh Mi sandwich from a Traditional American Sandwich shop… A chain I might add. I said to myself it can’t be good or authentic. But, who am I to speak on Vietnamese eats or state whether the sandwich would be authentic? However, what I do know, is that whatever I purchased stacked in between a perfect bread choice was damn good… Or in my favorite words…“Hittin and Stickin!“ From beginning to end, the sandwich was crafted with perfection. Starting with a fresh, french baguette that was crispy, flaky, toasted on the outside and soft-chewy on the inside… came layers of goodness and flavor. The sandwich was packed with pulled pork that was juicy, tender – succulent and moist. The meat was so tender that there were drippings seeping through the foil and I made sure I swiped every bit of it… with my fingers, tongue, and… into my belly of course! As Mama always said, «no good food» shall go to waste. Complementing the meat, was strategically placed cilantro, carrots, cucumbers and jalapeño peppers. Each bite gave you its own – juicy explosion of nirvana! Even more, you could distinctively taste each component of the sand“Which Which” and all the ingredients paired well with each other. There was a spicy mayo on the sandwich that tasted great but was not needed because the sandwich held its own. In all, I must say I was impressed overall with this place and totally did not expect to be taken on a foodie journey today. Too bad it was not an all-expense-paid vacation to Vietnam… I’m talking idyllic unassuming beach towns with turquoise waters, exotic cuisine, unique scuba diving, and ____… **Daydream cloud fades and dreary smoke visions diminish!** *POOF!!* Snap back to reality… SMH… but hey, the sandwich took me there for a moment. Clearly, this place must have made an impression on me. I wrote this review the same day of visiting this place… something I rarely do. I enjoyed the sandwich so much that I did not get to the chips and soda. The sandwich portions and filling was enough for me. I had drippings, crumbs, juices, and joy all over my face… and clothing too while at my desk! And, I wore it proud at my very next meeting! …Lying to everyone that I was wearing the next big fashion concept from NYC Fashion Week… «Sustenance Wear!» I am a fan and will be a repeat customer. Move over Subway and PotBelly… a better contender is in town. Lunch quest fulfilled…& an expensive dry cleaning bill on this week’s run to the cleaners!

By far my favorite sandwich spot. My wife and I have enjoyed which wich for years and we are so happy there’s finally one here in Arlington, va. Incredibly fresh options, great for vegetarians because the hummus and black bean patty is delicious. If you haven’t tried it yet you may be very surprised that a franchisey’ place like this can throw down with such an incredible sandwich.

Ugh — so I hate to be the sour puss here, especially since there appears to be a lot of good reviews, but I could not have been more disappointed with my experience at Which Wich. The concept is nice for a lot of people, you can customize your order based on chicken, italian meats, seafood, veggie, etc. I got buffalo chicken with blue cheese, onions, lettuce, and tomato, on wheat bread. The BF got their monthly special, the Shrimp Po’Boy. It took them about 15 minutes to make my sandwich, which isn’t that long, but I am spoiled by Jimmy John’s who gets my sammy to me by the time I walk from the cash register to the pick up section. The bread was too crispy, almost burnt, so both sandwiches fell apart before we could even eat them. I can totally discount my sandwich as I customized it. That’s why I like places to tell me what to eat! The Shrimp was ok, but both sandwiches left a lot to be desired. I just didn’t get the tastes I wanted — I’m sure my Unilocalers can understand!

Better than average sandwiches. Loads of options to customize however you may like, to include turning your sandwich into a salad or a lettuce wrap if you are watching your carbs or calories. There are LOADS of sandwich shops in this area and Wich Which is on par, nothing overly exciting other than huge amount of choices. However, I am giving an extra star for the speedy and easy to use online ordering option. Place your order, customize to your hearts content, and then show up 15 – 20 minutes later — bypass the line and grab your grub. It is worth noting that a large sub is easily a meal for two.

This was my first experience being exposed to this franchise, and I really loved it. The concept is cool. Lined up both outside and inside the shop are brown paper bags with different themes on them(ham, beef, veggie, etc.) You choose your bag, and check off all the boxes that make it special to you(whole wheat bread, thin, toasted, with mustard, mayo, extra cheddar, and lettuce). Then pay at the register. 5 minutes later your food in bag comes out at the Pick Up counter, and off you go. Simple, easy, efficient, and tasty.

THATWICH is the answer. Hubby and I sadly discovered Which Wich on our way out of Arlington. This is a great sandwich place with a really cool idea. Organize a set of brown bags based on meat and include standard toppings on them. Allow your customers to grab a bag, mark their fixings, and turn it in. Bing Bang, Boom. Your wich is done! I love the concept. I got the ‘chicken’ bag for the buffalo chicken sandwich I wanted and marked all the great toppings(including potato chips ONMYWICHYO) I wanted. I can tel you the sandwich is as great as the concept. I devoured the whole thing and wished I had more to eat. Unfortunately we ordered to-go and didn’t get a milkshake or cookie, which was a huge mistake. Looks like we’re going to have to come back for another Wich, shake, and some cookies. Highly recommend this spot to the sandwich enthusiast!

Half of the fun of eating here is the process of literally creating your own sandwich. They have something for everyone here(even veg-heads) and while it takes a little bit to make a sandwich(10 mins for two subs), it was worth the wait. My sandwich was everything I had hoped for and more. Full, toasted, Italian goodness couldn’t be more delightful. I had fun decorating my bag in the interim and hanging it up for display. Just know which wich you want before you go… the choices can be overwhelming.
