It was an excellent date night. So funny family friendly and relaxing. Those guys know how to make you laugh and have a good time. Looking forward the new place

Willard’s Parlour of Mystery; a little corny, a lot of laughs and some down right fun magic. The theater is small enough to clearly see the performers, yet big enough to draw skilled and recognizable acts. This is what a Saturday night date should be all about, a high scale performance in an intimate theater. Being inside the mall right next to the big movie theater is brilliant, the parking is just up(or down) a flight of stairs, in a garage and if you go late enough to miss the mall traffic then you can park right near the entrance($ 1 on the weekend evenings). No weather to worry and super well lit. You can show up early and play in the little arcade across the walk-way. Do eat before you go, the snack choices are … limited. The show we saw was very family and date friendly. The humor was relate-able across the audience. The performance was highly interactive and great fun all around. I am already looking at who is coming to preform to order my tickets.

Great show! You sit right up close and get to see the magic right in front of you, making it more impressive and more difficult to figure out hew they did it. Willard knows what your thinking!

We had friends drive over 90 minutes for a date night at Willards Parlour of Mystery. Their response after the performance, «best night in years!!»

Came here last Saturday and saw Eric Henning. Being a big fan of magic ever since I was a kid, I really enjoyed the show and venue; and am excited to have a place like this in my own neighborhood. I definitely look forward to coming back!

We had the best time tonight, enjoying 90 minutes with the very funny, very magical Eric Henning, at Willard’s Mystical Parlour in Ballston. Something different for a Saturday evening in Arlington, and the setting and show were first-rate. We’ll be back to see other featured acts! Highly recommended!

My husband and I attended a show here and really enjoyed it. It’s a great change up from the typical date night. We were talking about the show days later still wondering how they managed the different illusions. Highly recommend checking it out if you are looking for a unique night out.

I’ve attended two evening shows — both were great with a wide variety of magic effects and excellent interaction with the audience. This is definitely a place for an enjoyable evening of entertainment.

If you are looking for a fun Saturday out, yes I recommend coming here for a show! It’s definitely a fun change from the normal movie night, or night out spend downtown. My boyfriend and I went to an evening show; and yes it was very good. It is a smaller setting, there were about 15 – 20 guests there. Almost everyone had a chance to participate with the show. I wasn’t bored for a second, and I was very pleased with all the comedy and illusions/magic. I think most young adults and older would really enjoy this show!

We saw 3 magicians for a modest fee last night. All were good, and very different from each other. The ratings said for 17 and up, but I felt younger kids would have been fine at it. Nice little venue next to the movie theater in the Ballston Mall.

We went to an evening show when it first opened and had a great time! It was a sellout crowd and the act, Timeless Deceptions, was really fun and top-notch. We also took our four-year-old to a kids show on a Saturday afternoon and he had a blast. They gave him a magic wand and he’s been trying to make things disappear ever since. Highly recommended for a unique outing!

I was there for opening weekend and was equally curious and hopeful about it being a good time. It was! The Comedy Spot was always my default weekend evening out(even though it was hit or miss), and i wondered what i might find to replace it. This is certainly it. First, the space has received a facelift and is cozy and inviting. I love that you can walk through the mall and then step into this space that feels more like a home than a theater. And the show exceeded all expectations — we saw the Wood Brothers show, Timeless Deceptions, and it is easily worth double the ticket price. The only complaint would be, no alcohol, but… there are plenty of places in the area to go before and after the show. We will go back — It’s a perfect date night. There seems to be a variety of acts and based on their posted schedule i’ve already picked two upcoming shows and will take a group. Of note, it looks like on their schedule that they have Saturday afternoon kids shows and offer birthday parties. i’m telling the moms i know in the area to give it a look for something to do with the kids. Hopefully people find out about this place and it gets a following and stays.

My wife and I just went to see Magicians Matt and Peter Wood at the Willard’s Parlour of Mystery last night. What a great place to see magic! The theater, which probably seats 50 or 60 people, is small enough that everyone can see and really experience the magic. The space is simple but attractive and the sound and lighting work perfectly for the venue. The location in Ballston Common Mall makes it easy to get to and parking is only a dollar. Best of all, if the show we saw is any indication, this will be the place to see some of the best magicians around. Matt and Peter are world class performers. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and will definitely be going back.

Fantastic live magic performance. We’re definitely coming back for more. We went to Willard’s Parlour of Mystery to see«Timeless Deceptions» starring Matt and Peter Wood. It was a terrific show that entertained parents and teen and still has us talking about it the next day. This kind of performance has so much more impact when you see it live. The Parlour is tiny so it almost feels like a magic show given in a private home rather than a theater. I believe there were five rows of seats, and we were at the back, but could still see well. The Wood brothers were excellent showmen who combined magic and humor. Audience participation was frequent but not heavy-handed. Those of us who did not want to be on-stage participants were not badgered into doing so, and I hope that will be the case with future magic acts as well. The location is on the third floor of the Ballston Common Mall, in part of the former«Comedy Spot» space. If you were familiar with the«Comedy Spot,» note that the entrance to the Parlour is around the corner next to the movie theater.
