Wingate by Wyndham Arlington

This hotel is gross! If I had an option, I would not even give this hotel one star! When we checked in, the lady that greeted us and checked us in was super nice. However, when we got up to our room, we noticed an odd smell. Not really thinking too much about it, we proceeded to unpack and get ready to settle in. As we were settling in, My kids and I noticed that two of the spindles on the bed had been broken and glued back together and «fixed». It was such a botched job that the yellowish goo was oozing from between the pieces of wood on the bedposts. Ewe!!! Trying to ignore the oozing goo, the scratches all over the walls and the weird smell, still, we were giving it the benefit of doubt and continued settling in for the evening. But then, as I was turning down one of the beds, I noticed the nastiest, greasy stains on the bed skirt and the coverlet at the bottom of the bed. DISGUSTING!!! I wouldn’t let my dog sleep there! Also there was dusty fur on the lamp shades, on the top of the headboard and behind the headboard and dresser. The chair was stained, the entry way floor had something sticky spilled between the tiles. Needles to say, our stay at this hotel ended about 30 minutes after it began. The manager was just as unkept as the room and offered no substitution or solution! He did not even seem the least bit concerned or phased that his hotel room was in this condition, which tells me that this is not the first time this has been an issue!!! You get 5 EWES instead of stars!!!

For a hotel experience, I was pleasantly surprised with this place. Check in was quick and we were in our clean room in no time. We stayed 2 nights for our Six Flags trip.
Pros: clean room, friendly staff, trolley passes to Six Flags, great breakfast buffet. Free wi-​fi.
Cons: Free wi-​fi was sketchy and overloaded at best. No bar (but offered free snacks and beer/​wine during evening hours) Small pool. (15 ppl max)

Stayed here for Supercross trip. Arrived at 11:45 pm, front desk was friendly and quick. Through out our stay the staff was very helpful and nice. They took us to get a rental car with only a minutes notice. They then picked us up at the rental car place and drove us to the airport free of charge.
The rooms were very clean, nice and the beds were comfy. The free breakfast left a little to be desired but it was free.
Would stay here again.

I needed a hotel for a short notice trip to Arlington, and the Wingate had a great rate. The hotel is nice and clean. The bed was pretty comfortable, and the room was spacious and not outdated. Breakfast was your average hotel breakfast. It is confidently located just off of I30 and near Six Flags. I would definitely stay here again.

For the past 4 years I stayed at this Wyndham when I visit Arlington for the eagles vs Dallas game. The rooms are spacious, the price is right, and they have an airport shuttle and continental breakfast every morning. On top of that the staff is always polite. Robert the shuttle driver is pleasant and remembers me every year as well as Ayana, the younger lady who works the front desk. It’s always great to know people appreciate your business year after year. Unfortunately, I will not be staying there this year because I have some free points to use at another hotel chain but I recommend this hotel to others. I will stop by to say hello.

Really nice! I forgot that I could use my USAA discount here. For the rate, I feel like I got a great deal. This room is like a mini suite but its just a king bed. I mean I feel totally comfortable. Its clean, the staff was really friendly. They had pizza and wine out for their guests. So you KNOW I had to get me some wine! LOL I damn near didnt want to leave the room to venture the city. And thats another great perk. Its close to stuff! I mean this is outstanding to have all these amenities. Service, cleanliness, rate and proximity to the action. Bout to go get my drink on now!

Very impressed. Great room size, great atmosphere. Nice and new look. Everything was super clean. I was overly impressed. I’ve been to Westins and Omni hotels that havent been this nice and it was really affordable room!

we stayed here over thanksgiving because we were going to the dallas cowboys game. the hotel was nice and clean. the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. the rooms were good. nice comfy bed. the only complaint was with the TV service. alot of the stations were fuzzy but it was a nice sized TV and bathroom. we ate the breakfast which was also good. they offered a shuttle for 10 bux a person to bring you to and from the cowboys stadium which made it very convenient. the front staff gave us directions to a sports bar that was playing the NFL late night game also. we would definetely go back here if ever in arlington again.

We are stunned with the amazing service, the friendly staff, the easy access to surrounding attractions, and the shuttle service. Van was the driver of the shuttle and he went out of his way to make us feel welcome, and accommodated our many logistical request. we will recommed this location to all of our friends, to bad they all hate the cowboys. We visited for the St. Louis-​Cowboy game. and even though there is the world series currently taking place, we have not been inconvenienced.

We stayed here in August before a Red Sox/​Rangers game. The hotel was recently remodeled and the guest rooms are very nicely appointed. The décor is modern and the beds are super comfy. Our room had a king size bed with a large flat screen tv. There was also a desk area and sitting area, the room was very spacious. The bathroom on the other hand was very small and cramped. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and gave us information on the free trolley that brings you to nearby attractions. The free beverage service and continental breakfast were a nice extra. One big drawback is the lack of a pool, although there is an indoor hot tub. All in all we had a nice stay and the rate was very reasonable at $ 90/​night. We would definitely stay here again.
