Year Up

You get PAID to WORK! Okay now that I have said that, I will move on with my review.
Year Up is a program that last for one year, and gives you the tools to survive in a business environment. You learn how to write a resume, and how to write an email without LOL in the body. They walk you through the ends and outs of a computer. How to put a computer back together, and how to make a spreadsheet on excel. There are many chance for you to go here.
I graduated not to long ago, and I feel that it has helped me a lot. Before I graduated I was helped in locating a job by my adviser, Gina Allen. Every student gets someone like Gina to help them through out the process of the program. In my opinion she is Number #1 in my book. I’m still in contact with her today. Once a you graduate Year up, you are with them forever.
There are some things that I will never forget from this «Job». I will never look at an email the same way again. I am now always aware of how much my co-​workers around me walks around with there phones.
I was never one to earn an infraction, but I find myself giving them to the people around me. Shirt wrinkled — 15 point infraction, Phone goes off — 15 point infraction, Wrong Shoes –15 Point infraction. I will probably live my life giving people infractions because of my time at Year Up.
There are so many networking opportunity that you can have. There is always a new guest speaker for you to meet. Don’t forget to grab that business card.
