Achatz Pies of Armada

We stopped in here after visiting Blake’s (no donuts this time of year). Bought 3 slices of pie and got one free. Went with lemon, pumpkin cheesecake, cherry, and apple. Staff was so friendly! This place is adorable with a really pretty hand painted mural on the wall. It’s so unique and quaint! Love the country music too :) great desserts and excellent service.

Beautiful, open and clean. Nicely decorated. Staff is fantastic and seem to love their job and their product, which is outstanding! So many pies to choose from… Why choose? We shared 4 different slices of pie… None of them were overly sweet and all were extremely fresh… By the sweet employee’s suggestion, I got the Coconut Joy w chocolate ganache on the bottom (light and delicious!); for something different, I got the Autumn Harvest w a layer of pecan on the bottom and a light and fluffy pumpkin on top (yum!); my husband, being a berry lover, got the strawberry rhubarb (very good) and the ultimate 4 Berry pie with crum crust (their signature pie and for good reason!) we couldn’t leave this place without bringing some pie home so we bought 2 whole pies to go (One of them was still warm from the oven!).
We sampled the soups, which were excellent but we decided to try them next time. If you are ever out this way, don’t go home without coming here first!

Yes, its expensive but its quality you’re paying for.
This bakery isn’t a frozen or canned type of bakery. You get REAL berries. HAND made. FRESH!
I have NO issues paying $ 18 for a pie that is fresh and real berries.
They have something for everyone. Ive only tried there pies so thats what I’m reviewing.
I recommend them to ANYONE! Amazing pies!

This place is joke, got there at 11:45 ordered 3 chicken noodle soups and only could fill 2 of 3. It’s not even lunch time and out, it’s the same story every time we go there they never have anything will not be going back. Can not be live this place stays open.

We ordered Achatz apple pies for my daughter’s Michigan themed bridal shower this fall. The staff made it very easy to order the pies. When we picked them up, they had just come out of the oven! These apple pies were very delicious! Thank you, Achatz Pies in Armada, MI!!!

Amazing service and food. Key lime pie was the best I’ve ever had. Made my day and trip to Michigan that much better!

I am so glad that the Armada Store became my Starbucks and all they had to do was expand and have coffee, soup, goodies and pies, pies, pies of the best homemade variety, I especially crave the Egg Custard. Thanks Achatz for making my life sooooo much better. And the service is superb.

$ 18 for a pie, you bet.:))))) Every single pie I’ve had from Achatz has set the bar for pie IMHO. Just had the Strawberry Rhubarb which by the way is now available at Costco for $ 11.99 and oh my goodness, what goodness. I thought the blueberry i mean the cherry imean the 4 berry were the best oh wait I forgot about the pumpkin. OHHHHHHHHHHh
