Opus 465 is an established restaurant in a high end village in West Chester County NY, maybe 25 miles from NYC. The entire area is gorgeous with rolling hills, winding roads, huge houses in gated communities, golf courses and all the things that spells success. Opus sits in a nice village in an old old house on the main roadway. The restaurant is attractive and comforting. It’s a great place to visit on business, given the desire to sample several of the many menu offerings. The menu is extensive and includes something for everyone. I had crusted tuna, a colleague had blacken rib-eye, another had Rack of Lamb and yet another had a special pasta entrée. There is no lack of choices here. The appetizers and desserts are great. You have to try the Italian Nachos and Calamari for appetizers. The server will bring a dessert tray to view after the entrée. Even though content, you’ll be persuaded by the variety and presentation of the many great desserts. No time for diets here. Service was great. But, don’t plan a quick exit. The staff and chefs work with a leisurely sense of urgency. You’ll enjoy every minute of it. :)

Lived in Armonk for years and never been here before. It is our new favorite. Tuna tartare was greatl and so was the short ribs. Prices were reasonable. Will def go again with the whole family :)

We took our mother to Opus 465 for her birthday so we didn’t concern ourselves with the prices, which are a bit high. They have an extensive wine and beer menu so there was something for everyone. We ordered the eggplant chips as an appetizer and everyone agreed that they were fabulous. Our entrees consisted of the 29th, Filet Au Gratin, Risotto Scampi and the Grilled Salmon, all of which was excellent. Just a note, had both steaks blackened and they were AMAZING! For dessert we order two, the ice cream sandwich and the chocolate chip cookie pie, for four people which were plenty. The desserts, like the meals, were scrumptious. The only down-side was the scattered service; it seemed that the hostess and waiter were interchangeable which said that they were understaffed or surprised by diners. I would definitely return and recommend it to family and friends.

Four of us went to dinner last night. One of the entrees was acceptable, though not particularly good. The others were bad. Capellini was stuck together and tasteless. The penne mezza was cold and watery, and the mushrooms and cheese were rubbery. The gluten free pasta in the eggplant parm was hard, and the eggplant was very oily and hard. The salad and soup specials were fine. The music was delightful. The service was very good.

When I received the menu for Three Little Pigs in the mail, I thought the address looked familiar, so I searched for it, and found it was Opus 465. Calling them, I confirmed that Three Little Pigs was one of their brands. Since I’m n ot always up to driving over an hour for good BBQ, I decided to give them a shot, since they had brisket on their menu. So I went to the restaurant during lunch, and the lunch menu didn’t list brisket. When I asked my server, I was told ordering it for lunch was no problem. So, I did. It’s served carved very thin, with an au jou or other very thin natural gravy to keep it juicy. It was a bit salty, but otherwise thoroughly satisfying. On my first visit, I recall ordering a side of green beans, which were moist and flavorful. On two subsequent visits, I had the mac and cheese, then hush puppies, both of which were disappointing, but not enough to detract much from the brisket. Overall, a good experience, and so far the best BBQ brisket I’ve had within 20 minutes of White Plains.

Great bar menu, good beer menu, easy to find — what’s not to like? Ate at the bar last night and was very happy with the experience. Definitely recommend for when you’re looking for a pub-like experience.

Went to Opus 465 this evening and had a great meal! I had the Gnocchi Burrata and I highly recommend it. My peers from work also enjoyed their meal. They also had some nice dessert choices. Nice place! I enjoyed it!

Really torn on this place. Made a reservation and called ahead to tell them we were celebrating my husbands birthday. I just wanted something small to recognize the occasion, and they said they’d bring out dessert with a candle. Perfect. So we arrive and are greeted by a very unwelcoming, standoff-ish hostess. We actually didnt get seated until 30 minutes after our reservation time(and when I checked back with the hostess, she acted as if she couldn’t be bothered ‘I’ll seat you in a minute’). That would have been fine if they were super busy, but when we were taken upstairs, we saw that only half the tables were filled. Despite the rough start, the food was actually pretty decent. I had the tuna tartare and lamb osso bucco(both very good), and my husband had the clams(so-so) and the chicken scarpariello(above average). Service from the waiter and manager(?) were also good. However, when dessert came, there was no birthday candle, which was a little frustrating since I specifically talked to them about that. Oh well. Raspberry cheesecake and chocolate flourless cake were still tasty.

Very disappointing. I think when you have that many different types of entrees, pastas, barbecue, nothing can be done that great. Very expensive for quality of food, presentation and service. Had zuccinni appetizer. Bland corn meal covering. Ordered lamb chops that said came with rissotto and green beans. Green beans were overcook steamed with no taste, rissotto looked like oatmeal and I didn’t even eat the mealy lamb chops with no taste. Charged $ 30! Someone else had barbecue chicken where looked like barbecue sauce was just put on before serving. Could not site a waiter for good 10 minutes although slow night. Won’t be back.

DISGUSTING!!! DONOTORDERFROMHEREEVER!!! HORRIBLESERVICE, HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE, SUBPARFOOD. DELIVERYTOOK1 hour 45 minutes(I was PROMISED1 hour maximum – yeah right!) the woman was SO incredibly rude, by the time it got here all the food was cold and overcooked. Not to mention tasted disgusting and nothing like they described – white bean soup was inedible so was«risotto». They forgot dressing for the salad. Who does that? All the food was cold and disgusting. For 2 budget meal items, 1 soup, 1 salad and 1 entrée they charged 89 dollars!!! I was so fed up I didn’t even want to talk to the woman and it cost me 100 dollars for this whole order. You would think for a lunch order they would take an order like this seriously and try to deliver – but no. I only ordered from here based on Unilocal reviews. I’m sorry they were so wrong. Read this review before EVER ordering or going here — trust me, not worth your money or time.!!

Went here for my work Holiday party with a group of about 15 ppl. Of course, the day we went was the day we had a steady snowfall from 9am to about 9pm. They were still open though so we braved the weather in our trucks and four wheel drive. Armonk is a very cute town PS, and it was a first time visiting for me– would love to come back in the warmer months. Anyway restaurant was of course empty as far as I could see at 12:30 in the afternoon and our party was seated upstairs. We waited 30 mins for most of our party to arrive, to then order drinks. White wine flowing steady for the table and everyone’s choice of mixed bevs. We had three diff apps that were given to us on two dishes each so that each half the table could enjoy– very much appreciated. The calamari was very good and had flavorful dipping sauces on the side. I only wish they bulked up the plate more with rings versus the scary looking tentacle masses. Stuffed clams were on point as well. Salads came out next while we played our secret santa game. I forgot about mine but was able to eat about half of it. Was a nice, ‘dense’ salad in the way that I wanted it to be filling, with mushrooms and red peppers and cheese. Our main dishes took quite some time to reach us though– to the the point where I almost forgot we ordered entrees bc for one my head was swimming in my ultra strong martini(TOO strong actually and I cannot believe I’m saying that. Made with real pomegranate juice, not the Pom liquor.) And two bc it took more time that usual for all to get our ‘dinners.’ I had the ribeye cooked medium rare and it was more on the medium side. Was still very good but not as marbled and ‘butter soft’ as I am used to. Overall I really enjoyed my time with my colleagues and the food and drink atmosphere here. Our waitress and I think the owner were very attentive in trying to get all our needs met and the food was rather delicious as well. It’s a little on the pricier side for me to come with friends and take the 45 min trip out here, but I would again if someone planned an event. Would also like to give a *thanks* to the bar staff for making us one last round of shots that we took on my colleague’s new Shot-Ski gift hahah

Pretty good little place. I like their chili — it was thick and dense without any broth; spicy too. I had the turkey burger which was pretty good as well. I would go back here again.

Opus 465 is basically two dining establishments in one. Main level you have your bar /dining area where folk rock plays rather loudly. Upstairs — recently renovated — a very comfortable fine dining setting. Opus 465 has a very extensive menu which at first can be concerning(can they make all these options work) but not to worry. This was our 3rd visit — we’ve yet to be disappointed. Stopped by Friday night with two close friends and enjoyed a very nice meal. Menu choices included — for starters — Tuna Tartar(Excellent) and Steamed Littlenecks which worked. The Cavatelli special with scallops — very good /satisfying. The Chicken Scarpariello was a «home run». Surprisingly — after great apps and mains — the desserts were lacking. The Raspberry Cream Gelato and Choc. Lava Cake were both tasteless /boring. The service was polite and attentive without being intruding. No issues here. Now the oddity. We arrived at 7 and requested upstairs seating for a nice quiet dinner. A couple was finishing and left. For the next two hours we had the upstairs to ourselves which was great but we couldn’t help wondering why this fine dining establishment wasn’t more active on a Friday night. When leaving we noticed downstairs was lite as well. Sure — it’s the summer and families are away but still… Regardless — This was a fine dining experience — again. A suggestion — how about an occasional jazz night. Speaking for my friends and I — that would be a great night with the spouses.

Went to Opus after a long absence and, wow, was it good. My niece had the herb crusted Talapia which was fresh and cooked to perfection. I had the Korean short ribs which were a special and they were outstanding. All entrees were served hot from the stove, as they should be, and not«just about hot» as you get in most restaurants. we had two appetizers, two entrees, two glasses of wine and a dessert and the bill, with tip came to just over $ 100. I didn’t think it was expensive considering that the food was outstanding… have paid that much and more for mediocre-at-best foods at «fancy» restaurants. would highly recommend going

I go almost every Thursday for the Geoff Hartwell acoustic jam. First class entertainment, and they have great music other nights as well. Usually full bands on Fri/Sat. The food is usually good, although expensive. Typical for Armonk in general though. Go for the tunes and the drinks, no question you’ll be happy. See you Thursday!

This was the first time my wife and I have eaten at opus. To begin with the waitress service was not great, it appeared she was training someone(not a great idea on a Saturday night) but even with that she did not seem to know the menu. She was horrible about clearing dirty dishes and empty glasses. even going so far as to leave my empty bourbon glass on the small table top when she squeezed in my next bourbon. My wife had the sweet potatoe soup which was excellent. And i had the wedge salad. The soup was excellent and the salad was large and fresh with just the right amount of blue cheese. For dinner my wife had a Cesar salad and brussel sprouts.(since I don’t eat Brussel sprouts I can’t actually tell you how they tasted). That being said my wife said they were boiled to death and tasted horrible. To the restaurants credit they took them back, the manager offered to right the situation, do they handled it well. I had the tuna which was tasty but slightly overlooked, I ordered it sushi rare, and it was more like steak med– rare. The plate was pretty and it tested good but just a little overlooked. The restaurant has live music, which we love and it made the bar afterward rock. so I would go back a give it another try.

Restaurant week in Armonk last night brought EVERYBODY to Opus. opus is one of my in-laws favorite restaurants and living in CT, it’s a great middle point for us from NYC and their friends from long island. It was packed, downstairs and upstairs. It seemed that there were tables added to anticipate the crowds but they didn’t add any extra waiters. We waited a few minutes for menus and then to order, but the food came fairly quickly. We all did the three course tasting menu, appetizer, main and dessert. My wife and mother in law had salads, I had the BBQ pork sliders and my father in law had a massive shrimp cocktail. His cocktail sauce came in a shot glass which was broken on the side so we complained to the manager. Se got us a new one within seconds. Apps got picked up, we waited a few minutes for the mains and they came out. Food was very tasty and large portions. At this i noticed a man at the next table looking for the waiter. He flagged him down and asked where their dessert was and also asked for a check. Our main courses sat on our table for easily 30 minutes after we had finished eating. For the broken shot glass of cocktail sauce, then waiter asked if the manager couldntake care of a round ofndrinks, we weren’t drinking, so they took 1 bottle ofmsparkling water off the bill. At that point, I overheard the hostess who was cleaning a table say to another hostess that they had ran out of clean plates to set the table. Sort of crazy, zoo many people that they ran out of plates but didn’t hire an extra waiter or two. We had to ask where our dessert was and played it safe by asking for the check as well at that time. Dessert was also great. Good food, loud and very warm, they ran out of plates and the service was lousy. Wait until restaurant week ends.
