I decided to order from here because it is restively close to my boarding school. I was disappointed to see that Souperman is just a division of Opus 465, a restaurant my family and I didn’t like very much. I got the chicken and Swiss sandwich and Mac and cheese. I had a few problems with what I ordered. The chicken tastes like a fireplace. It wasn’t burnt, it just simply tasted like it had been doused with liquid smoke. Would’ve been decent if not for that. The problem with them Mac and cheese was that there wasn’t very much cheese. And the cheese that was there was sour. It tasted like a non-sweet lemon head. Probably not ordering from Souperman again.

I really love soup, especially lobster bisque, and was excited to see a cream of lobster soup on the menu! I also ordered the grilled cheese. What a disappointment. After waiting over and hour, my order finally arrived. When I opened the soup container, I was delighted to find large chunks of lobster in the soup! Only it wasn’t lobster. I don’t know what kind of seafood it was, but definitely NOT lobster. I picked out the mysterious seafood, and the soup itself was very good. And the grilled cheese sandwich on ciabatta … the smallest ciabatta I have ever seen — maybe 4″ x 4″! All of the cheese oozed out of the sandwich and there was a ton of underdone, chewy bacon.(If I were to order from there again, I would ask for crispy bacon on the side.) What a mess. So, $ 20 for soup and a sandwich. Totally not worth it. Oh, and $ 3 for delivery? Rip off.

Well this review is based solely on their delivery and customer service… Because I never got any food. Hungrily I placed an order for two salads and a side soup. Total cost after everything– $ 42. Should have been a sign. It was 8pm on a Tuesday, so it was incomprehensible that salads would take 2+ hours to be delivered… Sure enough, a few minutes before 10pm we called again to check the status and the food was«about to be sent out». No. Cancel. Said they would refund. Never again. Did they at least refund me correctly? Nope. Had to call seamless and they were super sorry. Nightmare. I should have read the Unilocal reviews BEFORE I ordered instead of while waiting two hours for a salad. This will be the last time hunger has me make poor ordering decisions!

I wish I listened to the other reviewers. Because I was pulling an all nighter at the office I decided to order from this place. The delivery came on time and everything was fine… until I opened the packet. I order a grilled cheese sandwich that came with tomatoes, bacon on a Ciabatta roll. What I got was a bacon sandwich with tomatoes and enough grease to refill my car engine and one slice of cheese. The soup was supposed to be lobster corn chowder. What I got was a bunch of imitation lobster and celery in cream. Overall I was very disappointed with the quality of the food and I wish I had listened to everyone else. But I was just so excited for a good soup and sandwich while I was working at the office.

If I had written this review after the first time I ordered from here I would have given it three stars. At the time, the delivery took forever — over one hour(we are in Mt Kisco). I ordered the chicken noodle and it was okay — worthy of three stars. Second time I ordered, the delivery was faster, but I noticed they switched to linguine rather than regular soup noodles in their chicken soup. Fine. At least it’s not that oily crap from Gionfrancos. Third time I decide to order chicken and rice(I’ll pass on the linguine). It tastes of lemon and ONLY lemon. So strong that I can’t swallow it down. I don’t mind a hint of lemon, but this was like spooning wood cleaner in my mouth. I threw it away. Since I’m a glutton for punishment, I ordered again for lunch today. Pea soup this time. How hard is pea soup, really? Well… not only does this taste of lemon(in pea soup? REALLY?!) but it also had TWO short curly dark hairs in it. NOTHANKS. Never ever again.

This was a disaster from the start. There’s no signage explaining this place is inside a restaurant. We happened to go in to ask for directions. The young woman at the podium, who looked and acted like she couldn’t care less, explained Souperman operates out of the restaurant. We asked about the sizing of the soups and she begrudgingly asked if we would like to see the containers. After a few minutes she returned, texting on her phone, and made us wait while she finished her text before showing us the sizes. My friend and I both ordered large soups, she asked for a pumpernickel ciabatta(for $.99 extra) and I asked for the sesame bread sticks(at $ 3.99 I was hoping for maybe homemade?). After waiting 30MINUTES, we received our soups. Ciabatta roll was rock hard and my store bought sesame sticks smelled and tasted like they had been stored with wood varnishes. I can’t believe I just wasted $ 11 on a container of decent soup and inedible bread sticks. If we hadn’t already paid I would have walked out long before the 30 minutes were over. The«hostess» seemed way more concerned with the health inspector who showed up. Should have taken my cue from that, and the fact that there wasn’t a soul in the restaurant. For the sake of your wallet, your stomach and your sanity, avoid this place like the plague.

We received the flyer in the mail at my job. Decided we were tired of the same old thing and ordered. It took over an hour to get the food. They forgot to add dressing for my salad, and the soup which was the crab corn chowder was terrible! There was nothing but onion in the soup maybe a few pieces of corn and let’s just call it imitation crab meat. GROSS! The sandwhich my co-worker ordered $ 11.99 was tiny! Serious $ 11.99 for less than half a sa which COMEON!!! Never ever again.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this review as my total experience was a complete train wreck. We got a flyer for souperman at our job and their choices of soup sounded great. My boss offered to buy soup for us so we figured we would try it out. Just some back story, i used to live in armonk so i was familiar with the area but didn’t know the address location… I wish I had researched it… So we place the order… the order arrives about 1 ½ hours later… mind you were are about 10 min away from the establishment. The guy arrives with a bag of liquid.(can’t even categorize it as soup. We open up the tiny portions of soup with no crackers to be greeted by a cup of vegetables mixed with color water. I had ordered for myself new england clam chowder. I was a bit confused at first because we couldn’t tell which was the lobster or clam because we couldn’t find any meat in the sea of vegetables. We were a bit confused because we thought we might of ordered the wrong stuff. After about searching through the light colored extremely runny soup, I found 1 piece of clam. I thought to myself that a similar search had occurred when people went to look for the titanic. The soup itself tasted extremely bland and I just couldn’t get past how watered down it felt. I took a few spoon fulls of my vegetables and I couldn’t bear it anymore. My hunger had actually disappeared as my stomach was filled with disappointment, Another odd thing we noticed was there was a menu for a restaurant called«3 little pigs BBQ». When we looked at the address it was the same as souperman. After some research, we also noticed another restaurant came up and it was called opus. I knew right away the place, as I had been there before and it was terrible. It was over expensive and the food was nothing to go home and shout about. We called the them up to ask for a refund and the person the phone explained the other restaurants are their sister stores, whatever that means. We were also told that the reason our soup was runny was because it must of separated. Odd, I didn’t think that would cause my clams to disappear too from the soup… but whatever. I can not recommend this place, you will be in for a huge disappointment. I wish I had reviewed Unilocal before we had ordered, because I would of seen the other reviews and I would of noticed that the opus place was the same place.

I ordered for the first time from this place today. I tried the crab corn chowder. UGH!!! DONOT waste your time or money on these soups. I couldn’t find any crab in my chowder, they put the fake crab which does not taste like crab. Meli Melo on the avenue is a MUCH better bang for the buck. Meli Melo uses real crab, better ingredients and their soups are tastier.

We had three soups… all the same base with just a few segments of corn… for the corn chowder, a few lentils thrown in for the lentil soup and we forgot the last one which just sums it all up. The soups were expensive and frankly just not that good.

First time ordering. I too got a menu in the mail saying they would deliver to my place, about 15 minutes away. The delivery took 1 hour and 20 minutes. I ordered beef barley soup and chicken pot pie. The soup was mainly celery. Some beef and maybe a full spoonful of barley. The chicken pot pie was all celery and onions. Hardly any chicken. How do you call it chicken pot pie and put no chicken in it. And at $ 18.99, what a rip off and the portion was ridiculously small. Their menu is going in my garbage. NEVERAGAIN!

Like other reviewers we utilized the delivery service — so this will be a review on the food as well as delivery. I see that they have increased their portions since some of the other reviews. We were happy with portion size. We had two salads delivered, a roaster sandwich and a soup. The sandwich was small in size but quite overstuffed — does that make sense? The ciabatta bread was about 5×5 square in size but then 6 inches in height. The food was fresh and good. But it is expensive — clocking in at $ 50 for the items above But I was also impressed by the delivery. I appreciate that they were able to find my apartment though they were from a different town without having to call me. We will definitely order again, but like others it might be a once every two month rather than once week just because of the price but we enjoyed the food.

Very overpriced. Come on Armonk! Ordered a take-out Cobb salad. It was appetizer sized, with meager tomato, bacon and egg. $ 10.95. Ridiculous! Soup also a small portion, overly crowded with veggies. The food is not bad, fresh-tasting, but there is a deep lack of generosity here.

Soup delivery took an hour. Portions seemed small. New England clam chowder was watery and too many vegetables not enough clams and not nearly creamy enough. Two others had soups that they also said were disappointing.

i received a flyer in my mailbox letting me know this place would deliver to my house, which is actually a good 20 min away from armonk. being sick of the same chinese/pizza takeout i usually defer to, i gave this place a shot. and since then i have ordered two additional times — within a month! its great. the chicken noodle and chicken rice are just amazing. the chicken is so tender and there is the perfect amount of veggies cut into jut the right size and the right amount of tenderness vs crispness. the veal meatloaf was very tasty, although the frizzled onions didnt take too well to delivery. but still good. i enjoyed the mashed potatoes and gravy that came with it. im pretty committed at this point to trying everything on this menu. so far everything has met or exceeded expectations. its a little pricey. however it could be bc i always order extra bc obviously soup is something that still tastes great heated up for another meal. i would recommend giving it a try!
