Dropped by with a bunch of coworkers to use the wifi. The owner was incredibly nice and gave us free donuts and chatted with us for a while. Excellent

It is so great to have a really good coffee shop in Arnold. We mountain people believe in spending our money as high-up the mountain as possible to support our community. And Bistro Espresso makes that so easy. I go here before I go to any other coffee shop(you know the chains). The owner and staff are so genuine and friendly. Their coffee is excellent(and I love a good strong(but not bitter) espresso drink). Plus they always have tempting baked goods, and wraps, ice cream, and I hear wine, beer and music now at times. You’ll find the ambience local and relaxed, and perfect for anyone. It’s always a joy to stop by for a quick latte on the way down the mountain. Thanks Bistro team… see you soon!

My boyfriend and I have been coming to this coffee shop for quite some time. It was one of my go to places for delicious lattes and panini’s. Today we DIDN’T have a pleasant experience. We waited a minimum for 15 minutes for our soy vanilla latte, plain bagel with cream cheese and a ham panini. As we were sitting down waiting for our order the barista calls out a plain bagel with cream cheese for a high way patrol whom had ordered after us. I sipped my latte and it tastes bitter. I’m highly disappointed with our experience. There goes 15 $ down the drain.

Wow! Bistro Espresso is expanded! I love it! I have been coming here forever for the great coffee, free wi-fi and bagel sandwiches. This cozy coffee shop has recently expanded. Indoor seating has increased fourfold and outdoor seating has been improved. Bistro now has couches, a gas fireplace, a big screen TV, ice cream, and a liquor license! A great place for coffee, a glass of wine, a game of Boggle, and of course, free Wi-fi! Nice! Bistro will now be my favorite Arnold hangout day AND night.

Wonderful staff!!! We visited with our church youth group and they were beyond helpful and patient with us. And the drinks are delicious. Zebra frap is a must try.

This may be the only coffee shop for miles around, but the coffee itself is pretty good! We ordered exclusively off the seasonal menu for our drinks, and shared a breakfast burrito. Location is cute, with lots of pet– and coffee-themed comics on the walls for entertainment, a TV to catch the morning news, and free wifi. The gingerbread latte and maple latte were both hot and tasty with a strong brew that wasn’t overshadowed by artificially sweet syrups– they were pleasantly light. The burrito was slow to come out, bland, and sided with a cup of Pace’s mild, which wasn’t too outrageous for the $ 4.50 price, but was underwhelming as breakfast choice. There were several girls working, capable of making the food/drinks but all came with a snobby attitude and the completely unmotivated speed of snails on Xanax. We waited a solid five minutes without a line just to place our order, and another 15 for the burrito. Cashier seemed annoyed with customers checking on their orders or asking about the wifi, which was a turn off considering the otherwise cool atmosphere and good coffee.

Larry, Jess, Mollie, and Haley are AWESOME. For sure the best place to get some coffee/tea or ice cream, also sandwiches/wraps/bagels/muffins and not to mention the best cinnamon rolls around! The employees here definitely make the place. Very welcoming, going to Bistro always puts a smile on my face. If your in Arnold, Bistro is a MUST.

The girl behind the counter was capable but fairly rude. The espresso was good and so was the breakfast burrito and such. Just don’t expect to get quarters for a shower back at the Big Trees campsite. There is Wifi available for one hour. Like a previous reviewer said, they have passive aggressive messages everywhere like your laptop will magically combust after one hour. The bathroom was at least clean. There aren’t a lot of other options for espresso up here, so I just say bite the bullet and come here.

Got breakfast this morning from Bistro Espresso after not having been there in quite some time. We ordered a couple breakfast burritos which were decent but nothing too spectacular. The ingredients listed(bacon, eggs, cheese, potatoes) are a good combination but it seems that there was any salt or pepper used during the preparation and tasted rather bland. Not a big deal as I’ll plan on asking to have them add salt and pepper in the future but it was a bit surprising just how bland it tasted. The price was great though and I think fair for what it offered. Contrary to what other reviews have stated, the service that I received was good. The two women working greeted me when I walked in and asked for my order right away. As for what the other reviews state about signs and whatnot, they are accurate. The signs clearly should be refreshed in favor of other solutions. For instance, a sign saying«Don’t help yourself to a cup» or something along those lines could easily be replaced by making the cups harder to reach so customers don’t grab them on their own; same outcome but a friendlier approach. Same thing goes for the WiFi and a sign saying it costs money if you use it for too long. The reason businesses often give free WiFi is that it keeps customers around to buy more food/drink. I’ll be back but would love to see them improve these items to have a more friendlier atmosphere.

This is a frequent morning stop for us with tasty coffee and bagels. I have not really tried anything else here but it is a cool place with a great vibe.

Hot coffee in a cold atmosphere. You are immediately greeted by passive aggressive notes(NODOGS! NOREFILLS! DON’T TAKECUPS!) and an extremely unfriendly, snobby staff. The girls who«helped» us seemed genuinely annoyed with every customer that walked in. The coffee and food was as bland as the personalities of the girls working behind the counter. Would not return if you paid me.

What a perfect little coffee shop. We have been visiting Arnold for years but have missed this little gem of a place. The food is great(breakfast burritos, croissants and the best brownie were sampled) and the service is quick and friendly. While there was a line out the door, I was so impressed with the two girls running the whole place smoothly and making time to talk to my young daughter. Wifi is an added bonus. If you’re in Arnold, you must visit this spot.

This cute little out of the way corner of a place, has great coffee house potential, however, it’s too chaotic behind the counter. Some procedural improvements would help them to chill out a bit, in order to develop a more welcoming groove. Good pastry selection, especially the glazed donuts dripping with sugary goodness. Baristas need a lesson in proper cappuccino preparation. Serving them up a la Starbucks, with all that ridiculous foam is just plain silly and not Italian. If you’re gonna do that, then at least offer the option of American or Italian cappuccino please.

I always come here during a trip to Arnold. Their drinks are good and the prices are reasonable. Usually after I’ve made a stop at the Big Trees Market. I love that their hot cocoa is just the perfect temp to start drinking right away. Unfortunately I always seem to go when its crowded and there is only one guy working there, or the other employee is making food in the back… it can be quite a wait for your drinks but I always prefer to give my business to a small business as opposed to a big-wig like Starbucks.
