Absolutely terrible company. I signed up for the internet only. I received two calls in two days, both to «confirm the installation», but in reality they were trying to sell me TV and phone service. Next two days two more calls(this time automated) to confirm the installation and make sure I was home. Lo and behold, the technician didn’t show up but I did get yet another call to inform me that he was running about 2 hours late. At that point I had enough of this company and cancelled the installation. I also e-mailed them to try and voice my displeasure. A week later I received an e-mail regarding my pending order. Seriously??? And even though I filled out a form asking them to stay away from me, today I get another e-mail with the new offer. Thanks, but no thanks, I will never do business with you.

Had a guy named Pierre come to my door trying to get me to sign up for their services. I had been thinking about switching to them for my TV, as I currently had their internet and had no problems. I had Dish but thought I could get a better deal with Charter. I was so wrong, I couldn’t get any more wrong. First, Pierre was very good at selling me their service, I went for their triple play, TV, phone, and internet to get the best deal. The next day someone was there to install everything, and it went well, the gentleman was nice enough. He gave me a pamphlet with the channels he said I’d have. I found out a day or two that some of the channels I was told I would have were moved out of the package I had and moved to another tier and to get them I would have to pay another $ 10 a month. The only reason I switched to Charter is because Pierre promised me I’d have the same channels I had with Dish but for a lower price. Pierre told me to contact him with any issues and not the 800 number because he can«get things done». What a liar. He was all eager to make sure the install was done right, he banged on my door the next day after the install to take a look. But when my husband emailed him with our displeasure with the lack of channels he promised he replied with something along the lines of «you’re still paying less for internet.» We told him that was not a concern of ours and asked again about the channels we don’t have and never got a reply. What a poor excuse of a salesman. We just switched back to Dish and couldn’t be happier. We have all the channels we had before and got a better deal. I’m looking to pull my internet away from Charter as well, I want nothing to do with them, I no longer trust them. Adiós Charter, don’t let the door hit you in the butt on the way out.

We’ve had continuous problems with our service being very slow or not working at all. We called and a service person set up a four hour time frame to come. No one ever showed up. Service is still constantly not working. Currently looking for a new provider.

I just subscribed for their high speed internet connection. Charter won me over with impressive customer service over the phone. They were completely honest about their pricing and what they could offer me. I only wanted internet because I do not watch much television and I have netflix streaming and other services. I ordered the 30 meg connection, but when the technician tested my internet speed. Wowsers! I managed to get a 39 meg per second test result on ! Some people are reporting faster internet connections on their 30 meg subscription! If you want cheap high speed internet service: $ 39.99/month, Charter is definitely the company you should subscribe to!
