The coffee was strong and hot, the employees friendly and upbeat, music was low key and mellow… wifi, comfy seats, perfect place to chill. I will go back!

This is my local coffee house. It’s my favorite stop for coffee. They have the best coffee and very good quiche. Assortment of gluten free options which are locally made and very good. Not so big on the egg sandwiches. All made with the microwave.

Much better tasting coffee and better prices than Starbucks. Highly recommend if you are looking for a good cup of coffee at this location or the one in downtown Annapolis. The staff are very friendly and quick to serve, so though it looks like there is a long line, it usually moves very quickly. Their coffee beans are also plentiful in variety and unique in flavor – definitely get some to take home with you!

This is my favorite coffee shop. Friendly staff, room to use the laptop, but enough going on to create a nice atmosphere. Free wireless is a nice plus. Get an americano plus a cinnamon-raisin bagel toasted with egg and cheese. I used to sneak my yorkie in until I got busted one day…

Since my last review climate has definitely changed at city dock. I can now walk in most of the staff knows my order they are mostly all friendly except one employee who seems to hold a lot of hate and misery behind her glasses. Other than that I would highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone in the area. Although the breakfast sandwiches are not the best the breakfast breads are awesome.

Have lived in Arnold for 7 years and keep giving this place«one more chance» and it just sucks. ZERO customer service. To the point of obnoxious. To the point where you smile and say have nice day and the server just looks at you with a scowl. Coffee mediocre food crappy. Seriously can’t believe they are still in business. Employ some people with a pulse.

A simple good morning or thanks for your business goes a long way. Muffins are normally pretty good. This establishment has gotten a lot better since my last review so that’s really awesome. Thank you.

I just can’t get behind City Dock coffee. The crew that works there is always friendly and fast but the coffee just tastes terrible in my opinion. Having worked in a coffee shop before it seems like their prep is either off or they don’t follow re-brew times. They offer a good variety of different blends but in my experience the brewed coffee is always either watery, burnt or just flat out terrible. Obviously coffee is a highly personal thing so maybe their methods just make a cup of joe that isn’t my thing. That said it is about the only coffee shop in the Cape outside of Dunkin or Wawa.

What a perfect neighborhood gem! The coffee is excellent, and so is their breakfast options. The staff is friendly, and so far no one seems to kind when I’m there for breakfast with my two little dudes.

Stopped here for some quick breakfast. I had a blueberry muffin which was tasty. We also had a lemon cake, very lemony, it seemed a bit not so fresh though. I also had a coffee which was good. I would be back here if I went to this area much. I normally go to the one down town when I do although they seem pretentious sometimes(as if you need to be a regular). But when I go to the one off the main street by the more eclectic shops down town(but not right in city dock area) it’s way better! They are nice and kind. All the City Dock Coffee locations are cozy and have great ambiance. They have just enough seating areas and are always warm. I will still use them from time to time but the one right in DTA on city dock I stopped using only because they were not very friendly.

Great little coffee shop in Arnold. We go every day and grab a tea/latte and a bagel. The staff is friendly and they know what we are ordering before we order so they start the drink right away. I would give it five stars if they updated the place a bit and added a few more places to sit. The muffins are always fresh, warm and delicious! You get to know the folks who frequent the place as there are many regulars which also tells me this place is great for a cup a joe!

I wish there were more of these locations. I’ll admit I only get a cap chill but its so good perfect blended coffee drink. yum. I used buy the Smith cakes occassionally and they were great. It is pricy and I don’t necessarily think they have a good buy incentive program since it only gives you a few bucks off but SB gives a free drink when you buy a certain amount and the costs are equivalent. Its a little dark in the shop but people like it as I see people sitting in there all the time.

Their spice tea is pretty good, but as others have said, this place is pretty dingy and blah. When they do have baked goods, I’ve usually found them to be stale and nondescript. I’ve met colleagues here for informal meetings on a few occasions, but I wouldn’t go back by choice.

I go here frequently for the good coffee, and the occasional baked good such as the bagels, muffins, and other things. I’ve found the coffee to always be hot and fresh, and I like the various brews they offer. One of my favorites, Boat Guys, is great, and has a fun name to go along with it. Generally the staff is quite welcoming, greeting you when you come in, and if you are a regular, are quite friendly. I’ve had many discussions with them on any sort of topic. The layout has recently changed, and is quite comfortable now. Soft chairs and sofas are nice, tables to work at, and of course the wifi comes in handy. One thing I do like is the featuring of local artists on the wall. There are always photos, paintings, or other artwork available from local artists for sale. It’s a nice way they support the local community, and is a great way to see interesting art.(To be fair, I’ve never bought any of the art, but I still enjoy it!) So a good place, the outdoor area is fine though small given the location. In good weather you can pass the time chatting with people. otherwise stay inside and enjoy looking out.

The coffee is good. But the place could definitely use a revamp. I don’t think they’ve updated anything but the staff since the 90’s. Could definitely benefit from a fresh look and a good scrub down.

It was rather dirty. Yuck. Looks like it needs a really good scrub.
