Knights of Columbus Fish Fry

I came to this fish fry since the location is close to my house. I have never been to a fish fry in my life. The people were nice, but the food was incredibly bland. I have never heard of Jack salmon until Top Chef. I got the Jack salmon with spaghetti, white bread, tater tots & a slice of cake. And iced tea too. All to the tune of $ 8.00. Maybe I’m a bit ignorant, but I like my food to have a bit of spice to it. The salt helped a bit. The jack salmon was simply 2 headless fish dipped in batter & fried. It had bones & a tail in it. The skin was off. Interesting to me. The fish was not oily at all. Never seen such a thing before. The spaghetti was simply spaghetti noodles with sauce in it. No meat whatsoever. I wish that they had baked fish since some people including myself mostly are on low-​fat diets. The only sauces available were (that I saw & remember correctly) were tartar sauce, seafood sauce (cocktail sauce) & ketchup. Yeah, not going to bring my parents to this place. They like their food with a kick to it.
