This is literally probably the most convenient bookstore I have ever been to in my life you walk in ask her she has a book he pretty much always says yes shows you exactly where it is you pay for it which is always extremely reasonably priced. The most expensive book I’ve seen there was only like $ 7 and then you leave so most of the time you’re in there for like 5 minutes I’ve come to this book store for about a year and I’ve never had a reason to complain.

After hearing about this place on Unilocal,I decided to head over. Pam’s Books is a used book store but the prices are a little unrealistic for me. As most of the books are paperback, I find $ 3-$ 6 for an adult paperback a good deal– however a lot of hardcovers were $ 7-$ 10 which is only a few dollars short of a Barnes & Noble price. This being said, I got 8 paperback YA books for $ 42 so it was an ok deal in my personal opinion. The shop wasn’t that greatly organized but that’s expected considering how many books Pam has as there are seriously books everywhere. Pam does buy books for store credit or for cash and as for the books she has, there is everything. Adult, children’s, memoirs, non-fiction, graphic novels, romance(excessive amount of romance), and a whole bunch more. All this being said, it was a great shop that could use some organization(or just more shelves or a bigger shop) but I will definitely be back as it is the only used bookshop in Arnold.

Let me say that I have been a patron of this bookstore for quite a while so someone should smack me for not writing a review yet. Unfortunately this is the only bookstore in the Arnold, Missouri area. Let me repeat this: «THISISTHEONLYBOOKSTOREINARNOLD!!» You could imagine me shaking my head at this very moment. Back to the review. This is a used bookstore, so keep this in mind as you enter inside. If you are looking for books, this is the right place. There are literally hundreds and hundreds of books here. There are books in cardboard boxes. There are books on shelves. There are books stacked up on walls. Yeah, you get the picture. I seriously have no idea how Pam keeps up with the joint, but she does it well. And she asks you what you are looking for and she has a keen eye on current trends. Honestly, if you are in the Arnold area and want to get a cheap copy of a good book, head over here before going to the big box chains. You might save on some extra cash. Oh, and tell Pam that Joe sent ya.

A great little mix and match bookstore, been around forever. A little run down, but I like that in a used book store. Lots of paperbacks, not much high class stuff. Four stars if you like romance novels, three stars if you like everything else.

This used bookstore is all over the place. I’m pretty sure that this is just some«practical» outlet to allow a hoarder to make some money off his/her habit. The shelfs are double stacked, there are piles all over the place, and you may consider coming in with a filter mask… but if you’re going to find some random gem underneath a crap load of books, you just might find it here.
