Tried and True Tattoo

A friend and I wanted tattoos while in town for a group vacation. Natasha was able to get both of us in quickly and draw up great pieces. Her worked turned out beautiful, and made the trip more memorable!

I got some of my tattoos there and by far one of my favorite tattoos was the one Robert did. All the artist are talented and the prices are good. They make everyone feel welcomed. I have not been back for a while but I’ve seen some tattoos from the shop off and on this past few years and they have been good. Over all if you want good tattoos go there

I walked into the shop one day and told Robert what I wanted, and maybe 30 minutes later he sent me a beautiful drawing of the tattoo he came up with for me based on what I told him and showed him. I got the tattoo done yesterday and I could not be more happy with it. He is a great artist and would recommend him to anyone.

Artist Willow did a amazing job she must have known what I exactly wanted it came out perfect.

Got a Sailor Jerry inspired tattoo today by the very beautiful Willow. The lines were clean and she packed in the color well! I highly recommend coming in and getting work done by any of the amazing artists here at Tried and True.

I called asking about «Walk in» availability. I talked with Willow. I emailed a copy of what I wanted and today if possible. She replied back with an appointment within 2 hours and a very reasonable price compared to all other prices I’ve been quoted. I was greated by friendly people in what I would call a typical tattoo shop. My wait time was reasonable. I really was not nervous until I was in the chair, tattoo already in progress, that is when I learned that Willow had been tattooing for a VERY SHORT TIME. I became really concerned but already committed. I was looking at an amazing painting she did so I took confidence in that. Long story short, Willow did a GREAT JOB! I’m sure I’ll be back in a couple of weeks for some after healing touch ups which I believe is normal but great job. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is I wish she told me before I got started her length of «real time» tattooing. However, don’t misunderstand, I think she did a great job. Well done!

Robert is a great artist! The shop has a very friendly welcoming vibe to it! Very reasonably priced! I would reccomend the shop to anyone! I am a crybaby when it comes to tattoos but Robert has a light hand! I haven’t been tattooed by tasha but she is a talented artist as well!

Robert is a terrific artist. If you want something small and personal, or a big tattoo to make a statement Robert is the guy. He is professional and puts you at ease right away. My husband and I were both very pleased with the work we had done here.

Me and my cousin went in to get matching tattoo’s with Natasha, we were on vacation so we weren’t to sure about where to go and hell am i glad we went to Tried and True. Natasha was awesome she helped us put together a design that we were in love with, she exceeded our expectations at a great price. The shop looks super badass and the people were great!

My husband and I went in to see Robert for a tribute tattoo, he was awesome. he was friendly and professional. I really liked the fact that he was very meticulous when he was prepping the table for safety. it actually took him longer to get the table ready than the tattoo. the tattoo was came out nice and clean w straight lines. we would definitely recommend Robert’s work!

town for our anniversary vacation. I brought in my favorite butterfly coffee cup to Robert who came in on his «day off «to do my tattoo. He is an «amazing» artist! No pain at all!!! Super clean! shop! Love my tattoo! Thank you Robert!

Tasha did a great job on a touch up of an old tattoo I had and it turned out exactly as I had hoped! I’m looking forward to getting more work and new tattoos done in the future! Nice shop and friendly staff.

What a great shop! I was visiting the area and decided to check out the shop. We came in to browse and my friend was able to get a walk-​in appointment with Robert. He did some very nice script above his knees. He was incredibly nice and a pleasure to meet. A few months later, I saw him at the Lady Luck convention in Reno and was able to get a tattoo on my calf. He did an incredible job. I would definitely like to get tattooed by him again.

First time at this shop was great. The shop itself is clean and has a very comfortable feel.
I was recommended to Jason and he did a flawless job and was done very quickly. Robert (the owner) gave a beautiful tattoo to one of my best friends and again very beautiful and in a very short amount of time. All in all a great experience :)

Got a tattoo at this small place when they were having some sort of holiday special didn’t feel to comfortable here. They weren’t very professional, the things they talked about while I was getting a tattoo was very disturbing & inappropriate. I haven’t recommended this place to anyone.

I love this place! I’ve gotten my last 3 tattoos here. Wouldn’t go anyway else. Shop is really clean, Jason & Robert are awesome. Luv you guys!!!

I was looking to get a 25 year old tattoo touched up and was searching for an artist. I had already booked someone for the following day when I happened upon my fabulous artist from ten years prior who had left the area. I wasn’t sure that I wanted to make the appointment I had already set up so I «Facebook’d» a friend and asked about the artist from ten years ago, and she mentioned that Robert was now at Tried and True. I immediately called over there to see if I could come by to discuss the touch up. When I walked in, I was greeted right away by staff. Robert was right there and said hello, and not only did all the staff join in conversation, but the other patrons were all very friendly and engaging.
I recalled the tattoo Robert had done for me ten years prior, showed it to him, and he wanted me to show the tattoo to his other artist in the studio, which I was happy to do (I think he was still proud of his work — I’m still proud of it!) I came in the next day, and he had me in and out in two hours. He is a professional, makes you feel at home, and his staff is fun and keeps you laughing. I think I would go there just to hang out if they would have me just to watch the art be drawn up or to be a fly on the wall. All I can say is you get what you pay for (excellence — fine lines, great shadowing, etc.), so I will be back for the next best artwork on my thigh or elsewhere! Thanks again, Robert! You are THE best!

This is by far my favorite tattoo shop, not only for the amazing artists that work here, but also for the area it’s located in. Prior to moving to Oregon, I would drive up from SoCal specifically to see Robert and Jason. Not only are they good people, but it’s like a home away from home when you are there. No fake bullshit, just real pepole doing what they love. I have more compliments on the pieces Jason has done for me than ANY OTHER tattoo on my body. I am looking forward to my next session with him and cannot wait to have some of Robert’s masterpieces on me as well. QUALITY work, CLEAN environment, enjoyable experiences and hell, lifetime of memories, who wouldn’t want to come here?
