Moms & Pops Funnel Cake House & Mini Mart

I wasnt very impressed with this place. Two 9in funnel cakes for $ 16. They were chewy and a little overcooked. Not worth the ride over.

It’s a funnel cakes place, folks. It’s what it says it is and then some…
It used to be a Market, so it’s kind of a strange set up w barely stocked shelves of drinks, gum, chips, on shelves.

It was my first time here, my SIL came the day before and said it was delicious! So she brought me here the very next day for dessert. I ordered the Strawberry funnel cake with chocolate syrup. It was made to perfection. The strawberries wasn’t too sweet and runny like other funnels cakes I’ve tried, where before you even finish eating it the whole darn funnel cake is soggy. My funnel cake was crispy perfect on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. My SIL ordered the Strawberry bubble funnel but when she cut into it she didn’t think it was cooked throughly so she took it to the girl at the counter and without hesitation she replaced it and made a fresh new funnel cake for my SIL. So for service another perfect 5 star! Will definitely be coming back again.

Located in a strip mall, the interior of this shop is rather barren with a few sparsely stocked shelves of chips and candy. I understand why «mini mart» on their sign is in very tiny letters. But the real reason to come here is for the funnel cakes.
I ordered a funnel cake chocolate ice cream sandwich — two warm funnel cakes with the ice cream in-​between. I pointed to what I wanted on the wall menu and thought it was a bit on the pricey side but when I saw how enormous it was I have to say it’s worth it. Honestly it could satisfy two people. I must have ordered the «large». No matter; game on!
It took about 4 – 5 minutes for them to make the funnel cakes and prepare it for me while I sat and waited. There are only 3 tables with two chairs per table; although I was the only customer at the time I felt they really should provide more seating. They presented me with a styrofoam container and plastic utensils to enjoy my funnel cake sandwich.
The funnel cake was superb — freshly made with the right amount of crispness softened by the ice cream — and the ice cream was rich and chocolatey (I have no clue what brand they use). My only whine is that it was so big the ice cream melted before I could finish it. My last bites of funnel cake were swimming in a lake of melted chocolate ice cream. But it was delicious.
Belly Bombz is located next door and this would be a perfect place to come for dessert! Or just come to satisfy your craving for a funnel cake between fairs.

Saw this place a while back ago when we were driving home and we finally tried it today. I ordered the strawberry topped funnel cake and my wife got the chocolate ice cream sandwich. Both were really good. They also had deep fried oreos and twinkies. Definitely will be coming back.

Love the ice cream sandwich with chocolate ice cream, you can get it to share. The stuffed oreos were good, it would be better if they put more chocolate syrup and powder sugar. I would definitely recommend and eat here again.

so, the bf and i went right next door to belly bombz for dessert.
we had the ice cream sandwich.
BOY, good thing we only ordered one. I was thinking it’d be as large as those macaron ice creams. but omg, this shit was loaded. it was like two plate sized funnel cakes with 2 – 3 scoops of ice cream.
we only got the vanilla one. we’ve seen others order a regular funnel cake with ice cream and some fruits. definitely trying that next time!

I came upon this small shop after having dinner next door at Belly Bombz.
The funnel cake itself was crispy and chewy. They cook these to order. We ordered a large one and it took two of us to finish it.
I tried the funnel cake with strawberry topping. This is where the star gets deducted. I would prefer fresh strawberries since it is now in season however, what comes with it is a red sugary syrup with possibly defrosted strawberries. I’m not too sure what it is.
So I suggest, come here for the funnel cake because it was good, skip the strawberry topping and opt instead for just powdered sugar and you will be happy.

So yummy! Practically just as good as the Knott’s Berry Farm funnel cake! So glad it’s like 5 min away from me, which could be a little dangerous at the same time. I got the small strawberry funnel with chocolate sauce drizzled on it. It was so good, and satisfying! Clean place, fast service, and the funnel is the perfect balance between sweet and crunchy. The best part about it, is that you can cut through it with a Knife and a fork, some funnel can be hard to cut through– this funnel is def not like that! Awesome place

I tried the funnel cake sandwich and I must say it was delicious! Plus it was WAY bigger than I thought. My wife and I could have totally shared one and it would have been perfect.
The one-​star deduction comes because of the actual store itself. Not too many places to sit and, well, let’s just say it’s not pleasing to the eye. The decorating needs some TLC.

These funnel cakes are huge! I got the Chocolate Ice Cream Funnel Cake Sandwich for $ 6… I DEVOURED IT by myself in the car on the way home. There’s not that many places with good funnel cake and it’s literally a mom and pop shop! It’s kind of like a little grocery store that has drinks, snacks, and candy. Mmm I want to come back and try more!

After dinner my cousin said to me «Do you want to go and get a funnel cake sandwich?» so how on earth do you say no to a question like that? I have no self control when it comes to a fried treat with ice cream!
Located in a little strip mall with its own parking lot, parking won’t be a problem. This little shop is a combo between a funnel cakery and a mini mart so not only can you get yourself a funnel cake but in addition to that tons of candy, chips, soda and even some pizza.
We just ordered to a funnel cake sandwich with vanilla ice cream and one of those bubble funnel cakes with vanilla ice cream and strawberry topping to share. They have a small seating area for 6 right in the front of the shop. About $ 6 for a funnel cake and then additional $$ with toppings etc… I have got to say though that I was not a fan of the bubble funnel. I guess I expected it to be light and crispy like the Asian style ones but I guess they must just put the funnel cake batter into the bubble funnel press because the consistency was very chewy almost mochi like. I had a hard time cutting it with their knives granted it was a very flimsy plastic one but still! Other than that everything else was ok. Tasted like funnel cake. No fancy presentation or anything just made and placed in a styrofoam container and badabing badaboom you have your treat. I guess it would have been more fun if the shop had a nicer ambience than being so liquor store-​esque but none the less you can get a funnel cake without having to go to a theme park or a county fair!

ITS FUNNEL Cake what more could you ask for. Plane funnel cake! some funnel cake better then no Funnel Cake! Great mom an pop shop! Just wish they were open in the morning with a drive through, Funnel cakes and ice cram fro breakfast!!? YES please ! They could use better chairs but i don’t think fat people dine out anyways! I had an itch so I went for it!
It was worth it, an id do it again! Never be sorry. prices are worth it but the ice cream wont make it home or back to the office unless you live around the block. Sad face ice cream why!

We stopped here today on our way home from work. We saw the sign the other day while driving by and we knew we had to give this spot a try. We got in and I ordered the strawberry funnel cake with vanilla ice cream and my wife got their powdered sugar. It was made fresh there and man was it good! No need to drive to knotts anymore, this place is the spot. It was crispy, fresh and hot and the ice cream wasn’t too much on it either, it was the perfect addition!
I really love that this place is a mom and pops shop. And it would be better to add in a coffee shop addition and some wifi and bam you have an awesome coffee shop fusion with funnel cake. Perfect!
But definitely check this place our for some really good funnel cake!

Funnel cake!!! It’s great that I can go to a place for funnel cake that’s so close to my house. I used to only eat it at Knotts but since this place has opened, life has gotten easier to fill my cravings.
I’m really plain and simple when it comes to funnel cake. Just a plain powdered sugar funnel cake is good enough for me so the critique would have to be on texture — which is pretty spot on. The employees are lovely too. I’m glad that this plaza is finally getting some attention.

I think if this place was just funnel cakes and ice cream it would get a higher rating.
Came here for the funnel cake treats and it was good.
Presentation however was lacking, they basically serve it to you in a to go styrofoam box.
The store itself seems is somewhat confusing looking like a strange hybrid with a liquor store. There’s a bunch of miscellaneous snacks for sale, very little seating and a large row of refrigerators which I don’t think serve any actual purpose?

This place is pretty darn good. Walked in around 5pm and it was completely empty. It was decent, they had plenty of nice goodies (candy, different choices bag of chips, different choices of drinks). I wasn’t having any high expectations for this place, but I got my hands on their menu. Short and simple, a little too simple. I know this place was pretty brand new so I didn’t mind seeing a menu with only 10 items. Threw me off and thought it was funny that they had pizza.
Anyway, I ordered Powder sugar with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup! Waited 5 minutes, got the cake and damn it’s pretty good to me. Of course it’s not the carnival or knots berry farm funnel cake but it’s pretty good for a place that just opened. I’ll be coming back for sure!
Workers are nice too! There were only 2 staffs but they were super friendly! People need to come here and try it!!!

Ordered the bubble funnel (choice of strawberry, blueberry, or cherry filling), powdered sugar funnel (comes in mini or regular size), and ice cream funnel with strawberry (or chocolate/​vanilla) ice cream!!!
–Bubble funnel ²⁄₅: Not a big fan. Tastes like a funnel cake strawberry jelly sandwich. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t for me.
–Powdered sugar funnel ⁵⁄₅: Tastes like your basic 1 000 000 000 calorie deep fried carnival funnel cake. Love that it comes in two sizes. I ordered the mini, big enough for my two little sisters to devour!
–Strawberry ice cream funnel ⁵⁄₅: Ice cream melts, but not as bad as a churro ice cream sandwich because at least the funnel cake doesn’t turn cold and hard. Loved that the funnel cake stayed warm!!! This was probably my favorite thing we ordered. Coming back to try it with vanilla ice cream (no ragretzzzz!!!)
This place is also a mini mart. They sell stuff like chips, drinks, candy, etc. A little pricey when competing against a liquor store.
OH THEY ALSO SELL PIZZA!!!
