Just finished eating and we are stuffed. My husband and I decided to have kbbq and knew this place has been amazing in the past. Our server Ashley was very attentive and very pleasant! She was always around when we needed her! Unlike other kbbq places! Overall, we are happy with the service and very full!

Overall it was a really good dinner, all the meats we ordered were seasoned well especially the LA ribs. I loved the buffet part also!!! The only downside would probably be the service, a little bias by comparing it to gen but we had to always ask for a grill change and if we grabbed someone that wasn’t our server. They told us to ask our own server which I thought was rude Other than that it was a pretty good meal!

After dining here for the first time last weekend, I am now convinced how overrated Gen Kbbq is! At Gen, you literally will wait 2 hours for the hype, albeit their menu is delicious, they don’t give you a big serving and will constantly need to flag down your server. But enough about Gen. Moo is actually much nicer on the inside and it’s so spacious! No overwhelming smoke from the grills and it’s extremely well ventilated so you don’t come out smelling like food ATALL. My boyfriend and I came in for a fairly late dinner, around 9pm on Friday night. I wouldn’t go here too late because they have last call at 10:30pm. But anyway, it wasn’t super busy when we arrived so we were seated right away. Our server was excellent, he checked up on us often, and our food was brought to the table fairly quickly. All the meats we tried were delicious! There’s a buffet area where you can self-serve your salad, ban chan, rice paper and sauces. They also have a few soup options, one of them being the standard spicy tofu(yummm). There was a variety of sushi, but I steered clear of that because I wanted my bbq! I honestly don’t have anything to complain about. When I feel like skipping my cheap $ 10AYCE and I want some quality kbbq, this will be my first choice. OH! Here’s a tip… they offer thinly sliced pineapple if you want to skip the rice paper! Seriously, wrap your marinated beef ribs with this ITISSOEFFINGDELICIOUS. *drool*

We were the first ones there today. Lol We were on hungry status. It was my aunt’s birthday so we decided to bring here to Moo BBQ. Best choice ever! The food was nice & fresh. And service was excellent. Between 3 servers, they paid special attention to us. Thank you to the server that gave us 10% off our bill. Coming back soon.

This is my second time at Moo BBQ, and I like coming here. There are over 30 trypes of meat to choose from and I have about 25 more to try! The buffet not only has banchan, but a big selection of hot food, such as soup and appetizers. They come out with your meat fairly quickly after ordering. As for service, they’re very friendly. There is someone constantly coming around to check if you need more meat or drinks refilled. Not once did I have to flag a waiter down. I would have given another star for my experience today, but the hot food seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. However, I didn’t come for the hot food, I came for the meat! Meat to try: LA Marinated Short Rib Spicy Squid(it wasn’t that spicy) Pork Belly Beef Brisket

The meat quality was better than expected for an ayce kbbq/buffet combination. There is a decent selection of banchan(korean side dishes). It was niceti have the salad and sauces as self serve. I would recommend it for families looking for variety of food for different age groups.(Elderly/kids) Service is also surprisingly good.(Pleasant and fast) Ashley was our server!

So it was my first time visiting Moo, and out of all kbbq’s I have been, including the ones in Ktown, Moo was the best! The first thing you will see when you enter the restaurant will be the buffet bars, which is included in your bill, and you will see all kinds of salads, soups, rolls, fries, Korean side dishes and etc. The quality of their meat was also on the high level, I loved their galbi! Their service was the one that I was most impressed of, Donnie was the best! He was sooooo kind, quick, and attentive. I really appreciated his service and will go back another time. Overall, good quality and service.

After passing by this place for far too many times, my friends and I decided to try this place out today. And Guys, it did not disappoint. We came here for lunch on a Monday and the place was not too busy. They seated us right away and started bringing out our selection of meats. This isn’t your regular AYCE bbq. The side dishes aren’t set up for you on the table when you come in, but is located in the middle of the restaurant, buffet style. I think this is a much better idea considering you can control what you want to eat or not eat and wastes less food. The buffet not only serves the side dishes, but has California rolls, Korean fast food items like spicy rice cakes(), mixed deep fried veggies, and cold Korean noodles. They also had some pineapple wraps which sound weird right? But they’re thinly sliced pineapples that you can substitute for the rice wraps they add a sweet and fresh touch to everything! Inventive, MOO bbg. Very good idea. The meat??? That’s the most important part of this meal right? And they’re quality is OP. *On Point* we had endless amounts of LA galbi. I think in English they’re called the marinaded short ribs??? Ohmygoodness. Such a good marinade. Sweet and salty and such good, thick, pieces of meat! Eat it with some salad, pineapple wraps, and the bean paste sauce. I’ll say it again, OP. On point, yo. Our server, Donnie, was exceptional. Very attentive and quick with bringing our meats. Speed is key in AYCE restaurants and this guy, Donnie, wins hands down. We ordered three sodas and waters and we were drinking them constantly. I don’t remember ever asking him to refill our drinks for us, but when I would reach for a drink, I would have a full cup waiting for me. Amazing – Great Job, Donnie! We ended our meal with some ice cream and a cold Korean rice drink which ended the meal perfectly. Overall, this place was . Will definitely come here again for the service and meat quality!

Came here for the first time with my family. The wait was about 10 mins for a table, which was pretty good considering it’s Father’s Day and game 7 of the NBA Finals. Our server was Donnie and he was very attentive and quite pleasant to chat with. He made sure our plates of meat was never empty and that our grill was changed out without prompting. We were impressed by the large selection of meats that there are to choose from the menu. In addition to the usual banchans you expect from an ayce bbq they also have a buffet with even more to satisfy your palate.

Love this place! Definitely worth the extra few bucks compared to the $ 10 kbbq places around the area– their selection is very extensive and there’s even a sushi bar too Our server was Donnie and he was very attentive and helpful. 5⁄5 for service and food quality!

Party of 8 celebrating Father’s Day. Surprisingly, the wait was not too long. Maybe about 10 – 15 minutes. A little disappointing that our party was split in half between two booths because they seem to not have a table big enough for all of us. We are paying $ 20.99 per adult and $ 9.99 per child. They have a buffet of sides and a couple types of sushi. A little mediocre but it’s all you can eat. I was expecting more from the desserts because I’m a sweets kind of person but they seem to only have some fruit, jell-o, and ice cream. Our servers were very polite and helpful in recommending meats as it was our first time at the restaurant. Ordering was pretty simple. They have a projector playing music videos which was kinda cool because at one point they played a couple J Cole songs. –editing my review. I just noticed they actually do have larger tables. This upsets me because it was uncomfortable having to shout across the aisle at the members on the other table and inconvenient having to get up constantly to hear what they were saying. I wish they could have seated us better.

Service was good, waited half an hour to get seated. We tried several types of meat and I’ve been to various Kbbq places, and I have to say, they have the best bulgogi by far! They also have a buffet for soups, sides, and sushi rolls. They constantly have your glass of water full, which I see as attentive on the part of the waiters’ service.

Great service! The $ 20.99 price was justified by the novelty of the buffet-style banchan, hot food items, and soft-serve. Admittedly, I’ve had better quality meat at other similarly priced places. Some of the hot-food buffet items seemed like they’d been sitting there a while. Sushi wasn’t the best.

Good, attentive service, decently priced, and no long line! Large meat selection and decent quality meat, good for the price, they can sit a lot of people here so it gets a little noisy but much quieter than Gen. Unfortunately they do not serve root beer or dr. pepper, that’s a shame

Service was great by our waiter Jesup who took over our party of 20. My nephews promotion and he wanted KBBQ. If your coming here for the grilling of the meat and don’t care too much about the already prepped, baked, grilled mini buffet style area than I would recommend. Food to me was a little over sweet, we ordered the spicy chicken and nothing about that chicken was spicy it was more like sweet chicken spice lol. My family really enjoyed the pork bulgolgi never had but they said it was DELICIOUS. Because I’ve been to other KBBQ places in OC that a little more better unless I’m in the area, I will most likely stick to my spots in OC.

My family had such a nice dinner here. Prior visit was very annoying. We went in at around 7ish pm, so already there were many people. As we walked in, a hostess seated us right away then our server, Donnie nicely asked what we order. He frequently came our table to check our satisfaction and needs. We were here for about 2hrs with the kind server and the food. Thanks to him, I’d foreget the bad experience before. Little bit high price than others, but you will soon be accepted while eating. At the center of the restaurant, you can enjoy buffet such as salade, sushi, fruit, and so on. They have sufficient parking lots and enough tables. Huge eater will like here! Go get some!

In every life, there is a point where nothing can ever be better than that exact moment. For some, it’s when a first child is born. For others, it’s when you land that dream job or the girl of your fantasies. For me, it was eating at moo bbq. When my friends finished explaining that it was not only ayce kbbq, but also a full fledged buffet, I did my best to tame the wild beating of my heart. I have been heartbroken once. Never again. So i went with an empty stomach and a cautious mind. Lets just say, everything was amazing. The server, great. The selection, great. The speed, great. ANDTHEYHAVEUNLIMITEDMARSHMALLOWS. GAME-CHANGER. Been here a few times and I can’t praise this place enough. Service is always fast and friendly, never rushing like other places. The buffet selection is pretty extensive; everyone will find plenty of choices. They have a big table for large parties, reservations recommended during busy time as they do fill up fast.

Well, chalk up another victory for Korean BBQ!!! I came here by myself and was a little daunted at first. I felt underdressed. This place is a buffet style BBQ your own food at the table joint. When they sat me down, they explained that I can order 3 items. I ordered the #5(beef short rib), the #11(black Angus bulgogi), and the #17– the teriyaki pork bulgogi which was my favorite! The restaurant is crowded, but very clean. My server(Donnie) was very polite and attentive. Kudos to him!!! I will be back and with a more detailed review.

My boyfriend and I decided to try this place out since we always pass by it and there were supposedly good reviews about this place. Honestly, I don’t think it’s worth $ 20.99 per person after 3PM. The quality of the meat was not really up to par. The buffet itself, eh. We already expected it to be not as fresh since it was a weekday and the fact that it was buffet-style. EXPERIENCE: Upon arrival, we were greeted and were seated within seconds. The server explained everything to us so everything was pretty much straight forward. They had pretty good customer service. Nobody was rude to us and we were always checked on. The meat: my favorite was basically the galbi aka the short ribs. They were pretty thick slices and actually had meat. Everything else that we tried was pretty mediocre and not worth eating. The rice paper was very stale so it wasn’t very enjoyable. Rice paper is self serve(which is good) BUT leaving big portions like that out too long will make it stale and not as fresh. The reason why I’m giving this place a 3 star is because of the price, the quality of meat, and what really caught my attention was that they placed some dirty played along with the CLEANGRILLS. Very unsanitary. Overall, I don’t think I’d come here often. It’s an OK place. Definitely not worth the price.

Wow this place is awesome. We pulled out of GENAUCEBBQ a few blocks down because they had a 2 hour wait list. Really people? There is no Korean BBQ on this planet that I would find worth waiting 2 hours for, so we rolled down South St. to Moo BBQ on a Sunday evening around 6pm. Got our party of 4 in within 20 minutes. Filled our bellies and helped ourselves to their more than 100 item buffet of panchan, side and main dishes. Be careful not to fill up on the buffet, there’s tons of meat dishes to eat. Don’t worry, there’s fruit, jello and an ice cream machine for dessert too. Tons of servers milling around and willing to help you cut meat, adjust your grill or replace it with a new one. No one gives you attitude and says«let me get your waiter» or «it’s not my station», we had 4 different people come by to take more meat orders, refill our drinks, and cut our meat. They don’t rush you out, and are very helpful. Price is $ 19.99/adult for dinner, kids 4 – 12 years old $ 9.99. Didn’t look at the lunch prices. Make sure to order the marinated kalbi, i made the mistake of getting the one that wasn’t marinated. Meat was good but there was no seasoning. Same with pork belly, pretty plain tasting, go with the spicy pork or chicken. The tongue and calamari are a treat if you are feeling dangerous. Good as it gets for AUCE. I overheard a bride planning a rehearsal dinner, so it sounds like they book groups. It’s a huge restaurant with some banquet space upstairs. Extremely family friendly. Lots of parking. Go suburbs!

Years ago we had lunch here with my brother… it was ok. But now I really enjoyed it! Wifey wanted to treat her brother and sis n law to this nice Korean AYCEBBQ restaurant they deserved this GRAND meal. They chopped down two LARGE trees for Wifey & I… I think they EARNEDIT. Everything was pretty fresh… the Kalbi ribs were well marinated and tender. Ask for Jay, he was our server was very helpful especially in the cutting of OURMEATS… trimming them well with the scissors and serving us. The seafood was excellent. very fresh… not funky at all. We were the last ones there and they still were very pleasant not rushing us out. Say«Hi to Jay for us»(*)v(‘)
