I needed lots of costume jewelry for my Indian dance performance and I had no idea where to get it for a reasonable price, so I wandered over here. The lady over the counter said she had also taken Indian dance so she pointed out the right sets of jewelry for me. They have gold plated belts, headsets, necklaces, anklets, and pretty bells. This is a cool stop for jewelry.

I love love love this place. If you’re a gal who wears simple black dresses and is looking for some fun jewelry to spice it up then this is your place. They come in sets too. I was brought here to get decked out for an Indian wedding. I still go all the time to get sets for other wedings as well. They will even help you match the bling to your dress too. A must visit! Oh, and it isn’t like a Claires or anything-it is a small shop that is family owned… there is even a crazy bird that repeats your comments.

I went to this shop yesterday and with great success. I am not Indian and sometimes I am not treated so well in the Artesia shops. However, this husband and wife team gave me excellent advice for my upcoming wedding. They have a wonderful selection of Bridal and fashion bangles and jewelry. I highly recommend this shop!

The worst place for wedding cards, and anything else related. DONOT waste your precious time or hard earned money with these cheating losers. They’ll promise you the moon, sun & stars to get the deposit, and then forget about it. It’s still 12 weeks later, and I still have NOT received my cards. They took weeks to do proofs, when they promise you it takes, days, and refuse to consider any alternates unless you go through them. Poor service, rude attitude, and unprofessional retailer. Order through India or Canada, as it’ll cost them same, with shipping. And, you won’t get screwed by the people at Ravissant.

The whole Bollywood trend is full circle everywhere. Many people usually ask where you can find the beautiful bangles, bhindis, anklets, toe rings, and the really intricate jewelry that is worn with the sari’s and traditional Indian outfits. Well, without a doubt Ravissant is the place for all your shopping needs! It is reasonable, not too pricey, and the service is great. My family and several friends, acquaintances have all shopped at this place for years and I have no complaints. The shop owners are really kind and they always offer you advice so that you aren’t blowing all your money on things you won’t need. That is a rare trait because everyone always wants to just make the sale! Other stores in Little India also carry the same products but this is the place where you can find majority of what you need without putting a dent into your wallet!
