Terrible. I walked in to this nail salon and asked for a wax. The woman looked at me, paused, and said, «We’re busy now. Come back later.» She TURNED AWAY BUSINESS and the chance to have a repeat customer. No hospitality and a horrible business philosophy.

I’ve never had such a terrible experience as I did at this nail salon! DO NOT GO HERE! In order to take off my shellac they used the acrylic rotating file on both my nails & toes — ouch! I asked if they could just wrap them in foil as other salons have in the past & they said, no. I requested shellac on my nails (since they don’t offer it on toes) and the put a gel ‘no light needed’ polish. When I asked why they weren’t using the typical polish & the lamp, she took one out (not a gel polish lamp, just the normal drying/​setting lamp) to let me think it was the real deal. 2 days later my toes are already chipping since they didn’t use a high quality top coat (they were never shiny), and my poor excuse for a shellac on my nails is already chipping. I’m SO DISAPPOINTED. $ 50 spent for poor attitudes, rude remarks, and an awful mani/​pedi.

Their prices are very good. I have been coming here for years. It’s a place you have to get used to. Everyone should be treated well. Including your nail technician. Great pink and white, and cheap pedi’s.

I’ve gotten several excellent pedicures at A-​West. The staff are courteous, happy to chat but happy to not talk when I’d rather not. Plenty of choices of colors. Price is very reasonable.

Had a full set removed, she ripped my nails, stabbed underneath my real nails with her torture tool, I left with two nails bleeding and two days later I am still in pain. Stay away from this place.

This place is terrible! I’m seven months pregnant and walked in for a pedicure. You would think they never worked on a pregnant women here before. I’ve had several pedicures done while pregnant and most nail people know our skin is a little more sensitive than usual. She was absolutely brutal to my toes and made me bleed. Then she proceeded to pour a bunch of antiseptic on my toes without asking if I was ok with it. When I asked if it was safe for pregnant women she went and grabbed something else and poured that on my toes. When it was all said and done and I proclaimed my discontent she still proceeded to charge me. Incredible! Stay away from this place!
