Avas Flowers

Ordered a plant and balloons for a birthday gift 2 weeks in advance, labeled specific delivery instructions for a teacher and where he would be and when so delivery could be made to his classroom. Plant was left at main office and sat overnight and given the day after his birthday. Really disappointed after spending $ 70 total. Will not use this company and would actively urge others to use anyone else. When I called to inquire about delivery I was hung up on first time and second call was answered rudely by a call center who said she was unable to reach the delivery person, just could tell me the plant was delivered and I was wrong for saying it was not delivered. Terrible.

The flowers were beautiful but came WITHOUT a vase! Think 75 was a little overpriced but hearing it was delivered without vase I won’t order Avas again

I placed an order for my in-law’s anniversary for same day delivery at 11:30am. I receive a call 7 hours later that their florists were too busy so they cannot fulfill the order until tomorrow… The anniversary is today! I would have used another florist but now it’s 6:15pm and too late to order for delivery today. That is ridiculous and they should have realized that and notified me earlier. I wasn’t even offered a credit or discount on my order. I will never use this florist again! They have terrible service and no clue how to run a business. Please use my experience as a warning. I would have given it zero stars if possible. Service and reliability is the most important thing in the floral business. What if I needed this sent for a funeral that was today and then this happened. They should have offered to personally drive it to my in laws even if it would be late at night.

I received flowers from Avas for my birthday from my mom and they did NOT look like the picture on the website. She spent a lot of money on them and they did not help out at all when we sent them a pic of the flowers and told them the ordeal. No apology or anything. Find another flower shop and do not buy from them!

NEVER use these people, they are NOT a local shop, it’s a New Jersey based scam essentially. Free delivery? Yes then they tack on a $ 14.00 service and handling fee. STAY AWAY — Stupidly I did not check Unilocal on these guys and like the reviewer below was led by their website to think this was a LOCAL flower shop. Well when the flowers never came and they had sent me a delivery confirmation and billed me $ 77, I called. Call center nightmare, their phone people that I spoke with are less than great that’s for sure, long holds constantly, etc. The lady did me NO good at all, big waste of time but indicated they’d figure out the problem and deliver next day. Fine. Next day, 4pm, still no flowers. Called again, same bad call center experience, I was rude and aggressive and just kept repeating, REFUND ME I don’t want to hear your nonsense! Finally the lady agreed and quickly processed the refund.
NEVER AGAIN and the way they pose as a local shop is FRAUDULENT in my opinion.
