Our book club tried this local wine bar. The selection of food and drink was OK, but the prices were astronomical. $ 14 for a glass of wine? We really could have run across the parking lot to the liquor store and bought a bottle of two for that. Every time we tried to order something, they were out of it. They were out of a popular Pinot, they were out of one of the appetizers, they ran out of vodka AND ran out of one of the desserts we tried to order. Everything tasted good, but I highly recommend a reservation so they know to plan their food apparently. And bring a lot of money.

Flights Wine Café at Billy D’s. Live music. Comfortable place with a patio for casual dining. Not like the tapas eateries in Spain but very good. Good wine selection also.

35 minute wait for a drink. And no apology. Is that enough to tell you what my evening was. I was asked 3 times what I wanted and I did not deviate in my response. Then, when our drinks finally came, my friend’s martini tasted like pure simple syrup — ew. Disgusting. We were told only one person was able to make a martini — but apparently no one really can. Never once was our table cleaned, even though we asked twice. Never once did I receive napkin and silverware with our food. Never once did anyone express concern or apologize for how tardy they were in attending to us or the general disorganization. That might have been resolved somewhat pleasantly except for the fact that we were presented with a full bill at the end of the evening — when we suggested it might have been appropriate to at least take off the inedible drink from the tab, the owner was both rude and unaccommodating. I am beyond words. But I wouldn’t even suggest my ex-husband go there.

Great atmosphere! Large comfy leather seats to relax in. Try the almond latte — absolutely delicious!

Highly disappointed with my first(and last) experience here. I don’t see this place lasting too much longer. I was the only one there on a Saturday night — which did afford me special attention. The service was great and the waiter was knowledgeable about the wines and made a good recommendation for me. However — the tapas are pathetic. I wanted the artichoke boat(which is come-to-find-out only available at one of the locations) — so he made his best attempt at a far reach of an artichoke appetizer: 8 quarters of artichoke hearts(the kind you buy in a jar), sprinkled with feta cheese and baked. Very dried out. He had to come back with olive oil at my request. Clearly not satisfied by that dish, I ordered crostini(which he said was the most popular item on the menu). Dish was 6 pieces of soft(NOT toasted) sliced bread, prosciutto, & cheese slice topped with«avocado» — it came out with a dollop of that pre-made guacamole mix stuff you can buy at the grocery. This guac stuff completely ruined the tapa. Each of these measly tapas was $ 9. Saving a one star rating is the $ 14 glass of wine I had. It was a generous pour and was very delightful. Bottom line — I’m not going back.

First time here and overwhelmed by the friendly staff. The place is a coffee shop by day and at 4pm turns into a wine tasting café. Live music, free tastings, a small menu selection… but pricy. There is a small patio, crazy comfortable leather seats in side, free wi-fi… but on the pricy side…

Billy D’s has always been a great place to come for a great cup of coffee in the morning, however, now they just added a wine selection in the evening! This WineCafe is a branch of from a local wine café in Morrison, CO called Flights Wine Café. My best friend and I walked in the other night and the staff was more than helpful helping us choose new wines to try that fit our pallets. They offer wines in flights either half or full glasses as well as by the bottle. They also have delicious food pairings to go along! A great place to sit out doors and enjoy the beautiful Colorado evening as the sun sets over the mountains just west!

Love this place! I prefer to give my money to smaller businesses if I can and this one deserves it! Great coffee drinks and food, excellent service, nice sized outdoor patio, and free wifi.

Our internet was down and I had some things that I had to get e-filed by 5. So I ran to Billy D’s near my house. He closes at 5, but he was so kind. He let me stay while he was wiping everything down. And on top of that I had a FANTASTIC hot chocolate! I have been there since and every time I have loved it. Everything there is good.

This is our favorite local coffee shop. Great coffee drinks and frozen frufru coffee drinks, if that’s your cup of tea(hee hee). They have completely mediocre breakfast burritos they buy from somewhere, good cinnamon rolls and pastries, tasty quiches, and gelato. I think they also just started serving sandwiches for lunch. My husband goes in here to buy his novo coffee. Yum. Prices are a bit on the high side, but I’d happily shell out some extra money to support a local, homegrown business that employs local students and whatnot. And I have a funny story about this place, too. SO one morning we stopped in to get a coffee(I got a mocha something, he got a shot-in-the-dark). We left our cups in the car with our Airedale Terrier, Flynn, while we ran into the Albertson’s to pick up a few things. We came out and I went to have a sip of my drink. To my dismay, my cup was gone. «What the???» I exclaimed, as I looked around the car for my cup. Should have guessed… it was in the backseat with the dog. He climbed into the front to grab my cup, took it back to his lair, and was chewing on the cup and slurping up the coffee!(Don’t worry, he’s just fine!). Apparently the allure of this coffee crosses all bounds of species and common sense!

Noddin’ off at the wheel, sliding in the back way from Golden to get back to Arvada I spot the coffee sign on the side of the little strip mall in the Safeway parking lot. Must have ja-va, must have now-w-w. Hm-m-m kinda plush but cozy up in here. Good sign, he’s tampin’ and pullin’ shots rather than punching dummy buttons and there are quite a few folks in here for an afternoon. Scone? yes, I think I will although the gelato looks rather tasty. Large Americano, light on the water goes down too quickly with the pretty good scone and I’m back out on the street headed home. I’ll have to remember this hidden little caffeine refuge for future reference when I’m avoiding the high way. Bean tea is our friend.
