King Soopers

I love the sales ! And the fuel points are serious bonus!!! We are a small FAM on a budget and I feel like King Sooper totally get the finances of their shoppers. We love all the seasonal decorations!!!

I love this location. I have grown up in the area and with many Safeways and King Soopers nearby I always prefer this location. I think the way the store is organized is both helpful to new comers and easy for regulars. I love the deli and the interaction I have with the staff on specialty items like sea food, meats, sushi and more. There staff is friendly and polite as well as efficient. I have gone to many other King Soopers and even one just about a mile away, but I prefer this location above all.

My favorite grocery solid store, prices, service, and food. Never had any problems and never had any issues with the young employees in the 7 years I have been shopping there, never had to bag any groceries.

We go here nearly every day. Always seems to be good sale meats. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great location for us and a well-​run store :-)

I’ve been shopping here for 10 years. It has declined in level of service every year. I’m about ready to pay more money at Safeway. Now, these young kids stand around and watch me bag my own groceries. The deli workers are just plain rude now. The night time shelve restockers yell vulgar words at each other in front of customers. I’m just saddened that how poorly this Kroger establishment is being run. The last time I went in at about 9:30 to 10 pm and had $ 200 worth of groceries. I stood by the empty check stands for twenty minuets while employee after employee walked passed me (not saying a word) to me NOT ONE WORD. I finally went to self checkout and ran $ 200 worth of groceries through the self scan. I spend roughly $ 13 000. A year in this Kingsoopers. I think I’m done. Not sure what changed, but over the last 10 years… This place doesn’t seem to respect my family or seem to need me as a customer.

I like to see what kind of discounted items they have. Not to say these items are still priced well, but sometimes one can find a good deal.
Anyways, this store was recently revamped and they did a pretty good job. It’s a convenient store and has a US Bank, Starbucks, and Nick-and-Willie’s Pizza inside.
You can find cheaper natural and organic products at a local health-​food store (like Natural Grocers/​Vitamin Cottage), but this is the nearest grocery store to me so I visit here often.

I am actually very picky when it comes to King Soopers, and many supermarkets in general. I like when they have a nice flow throughout the store, when things are in a logical progression, and I don’t have to go back and forth searching for something. I also like stores that have lots of self checkout stations available because those always seem to be the fastest option for me.
Thankfully, this King Soopers hits those nails on the head most of the time. This is a slightly fancier one, in that they have a gourmet cheese area, marinated food bar (olives, roasted garlic, etc.) and a sushi station, as well as the normal deli stuff. They often have samples out in the cheese area, which is nice, and I love being able to get small amounts of things from the bar, like at whole foods, but as slightly cheaper prices.
One thing i love about this store is they always have discounted items prominently available. Besides the older bread and donuts, they have a lot of discounted meat, lunch meat, and bacon (hardly any chicken though). They also have a discounted area for dairy items, which is one reason I come here a lot. I haven’t found that at other locations, and it’s a great way to get cheap milk to turn into yogurt at home.
The only strange things about this store are that the deli counter often takes a long time for service, and the chip and cracker aisle is all the way against one wall of the store, by dairy and cheese. It doesn’t make sense but now it’s engrained in my mind. There are lots of self checkout areas, and the staff is actually really helpful. Once, I was buying a pound of lamb that was supposed to be a dollar off, and it rang up at the higher price. The clerk took the whole thing off my bill (this was $ 8 – 9) and to top it off, the staff was all dressed in hula skirts, just for the heck of it. In general it’s a good neighborhood store and thankfully convenient as well.

I had to get several prescriptions for my pet from the pharmacy which they failed to fill in a timely manner and caused my pet not to receive critical meds. While I waited almost ½ hour on one visit to pick up a tube of crème the vet ordered 4 days earlier I watched as no less than 5 customers were served before me. The previous 2 times I simply could not get the med filled due to their disorganized system of filling pet meds. As a nurse in a busy clinic and knowing the urgency of this med being started, this was unacceptable. I filed a formal complaint with the company but only got the standard generic chain letter responding to my concern. While they offer the service of filling prescription meds for pets, it is a poorly organized system that resulted in my pet suffering unnecessarily when I could not pick up his prescriptions. The pharmacy staff is clearly not trained in basic standards of customer service nor did a supervisor make an effort to follow up with me. As a volunteer for a local animal shelter, I think its important for consumers to realize that this is not pet friendly for pharmaceutical needs and I know I will not return for my family or animal friends. Sorry Kings Soopers, but you just lost my business to Costco where I know customer service is still a top priority.

I just get gas here today, so it seems fine. No customer service, since it is outside.
