Best fries or Frites I’ve ever had! Great service and we’ll be back again soon!

The fries and sauces are super good. This is a great restaurant to have in Olde Town Arvada.

They have the best dogs in town. Got the spicy polish dog and gobbled it up in 5 min. The bread was so light and soft with toasted poppy seeds and the polish dog was big, juicy and flavorful. The bun to dog ratio was perfect. Last bite was not all bun– mostly dog. Me likely :) flavor a mingled perfectly in my mouth. The sweet zest of the relish and the ghost pepper mayo was amazing. They’re known for their frites. Fresh and made to order. They are very generous with their steak cut fries and you have about 25 dipping sauces to choose from. Ghost pepper mayo is one of the most populate they have truffle oil, malt vinegar, curry mayo etc. The guy at the counter was super friendly, too. Love going to this place after strolling through old town Arvada. Never disappoints.

Mediocre frites and hotdogs. I expected better from this place considering they only served three kinds of foods(frites, sandwiches and hotdogs). They did have good service though.

Solid place to stop in for fries and a beer. Or excuse me, FRITES. Other food is lacking but I specifically come in for fries! I was able to get a good saison beer here which was a pleasant surprise. The frites are in the thicker side but fried to a crispy finish, which I enjoy. The sauces here are the game changer. There’s a good list of maybe 20 dipping sauces you can try. I recommend getting the sauce flight along with your order so you can try as many as possible and its only $ 2. Pro tip: if you like a little heat, try and mix the sucker punch BBQ and ghost Chile ranch. Delicious by themselves and even better together!

Saw the Vienna Hot Dog sign and thought is was getting a hot dog with all the works come to find out when my order is ready I have to put my own relish on my dog; no tomatoes, no salt pickle or Serrano pepper but sliced jalapeño pepper instead. For two regular hot dogs and a btl water $ 9.60. The dogs were good but overly priced hot dogs!

We came here in olde town a few weeks ago to have some fries… Not sure why everyone bags on this place… we thought it was delicious! We really didn’t need two orders of fries because the sizes were huge !!! The people that work here don’t seem that happy but whatever we had fun! The cheesy fries were the bomb . They have tons of sauces to choose from so take your pick… I really love olde town Arvada and it’s fun to ride bikes here and grab a few snacks — Try it for yourself

I enjoyed my time here. I was first to arrive at opening on a Wednesday morning. A quaint place in Olde Town Arvada. German style bratwurst with mayo, brown mustard, sauerkraut and large frites was my meal. It was a goodly meal. Ghost chili ranch and garlic pesto dipping sauces were superb. The owner was nice and patient with the questions I kept asking. I was in and out quick. You can be as well. You’ll be glad you did.

Great french fries — the large is easily enough for 2. All of the dips we’ve had so far have been great too. Hot dogs & beer tasty, and sitting outside on a warm day is amazing.

I tried this place on a whim last night(well technically my friend did, but I ate half of her food because it was so good)! She got a chilli dog and frites. The chilli dog was surprisingly good and the bun was warm. The FRITES were amazing — the ideal balance of crunch yet soft potato. But the real show-stealer was the parmesan pesto dipping sauce. Pretty sure I want to put that on everything. Bonus, the staff was awesome and didn’t even make us feel bad for coming in right as they were about to close. Great place in Olde Town Arvada. I would have given it full 5 stars, but I will re-review once I go back and actually order for myself, haha.

Although their food is tasty, I found their menu to be very confusing and the service to be poor. When I tried to get clarification on the menu, I got a condescending response from the man taking my order. After making my order, he delivered my food to the brewery, but did not bring the frites and then had the nerve to say that I didn’t order frites. This business needs better customer service if they want to customers to return.

The fries are pretty good; however, if you are looking for authentic Belgian frites they are not here. They have a large variety of sauces which is good. We only tried the frites sauce and the garlic mayo which were good. I had a Hoorgarden Belgian white beer which was good, but a lot of liquor stores carry it also. The hot dogs were pretty good but nothing special. It is a small place and pretty pricey. Service is just okay. I probably won’t be back, and my search for authentic Belgian frites continues…

Disappointed with my first experience here. I love Belgian beer and food, but this was not near the fantastic cuisine I experienced on my visit abroad. I ordered the special pastrami sandwich, which came out with a giant roll, chewy and fatty pastrami and dry fries. I ate around all of the carbs to get the few pieces of good meat. We ended up going for a second dinner at the Arvada Tavern for a much improved experience. We’ll start there next time.

Manneken’s specials today were two different sandwiches. My girlfriend ordered the pastrami which I shared. Unbeknownst to us, it would come pastrami and fries inside the bread. Interesting presentation, but sure, I could make this work. Served with two small forks, we dug in. Here are the results. The pastrami ranged from too chewy to just right. The thick cut fries were fine, though they could have used some more seasoning. The mayo was very globby. The bread didn’t really add anything. Overall, it was merely so so. I’d probably stick with fries next time.

I like that this place is devoted to fries. I like it even more that there are so many different sauces to choose from! Truffle Oil & Mayo w/Rosemary, Curry Mayo, Sriracha Ketchup, & Chipotle Mayo were some of the sauces we opted for. I ordered the hotdog-fries special, a highly caloric but highly delicious combo. Even better was the fact that while our frites were being prepared, we went next door to the Arvada Beer Company, at which point we ordered locally brewed beers.(Cherry Stout — yum!) Fries, hot dog, and beer. So great.

Funny enough my wife’s parents were in town from The Netherlands and we decided to go to really the only«Dutch/Belgium» fry joint in Denver, CO. If anything just to amuse them. We ordered about 40 dollars worth of fries and a few beers and were absolutely shocked at the treatment we received from the owner of the restaurant. He interrupted a transaction so that he could yell at us because our small children has spilled some of their drink on the table(not the cement, dirty, floor… nor the nasty chairs… but on the table. A table, mind you, that is located within a joint that sells nothing but beer and french fries”). Needless to say we won’t be visiting this place again. Truly a disappointing experience, with over cook and soggy fries to boot. I do not recommend this establishment.

Belgian beer, cased meats, French fries, and a couple dozen dipping sauces from which to choose… what could go wrong? Not much, as it turns out. While they’re not necessarily breaking any new ground, this is a fun diversion to have in Old Town Arvada. The garlic mayo was dynamite, the truffle mayo with rosemary was dee-lish…but make sure you try the white BBQ sauce if they have it. Bonus: they deliver next door to the Arvada Beer Company.

I love frites! We ordered ours with peanut sauce and with Ghent sauce(a shallot-and-chive mayo). Both were good, though I would prefer that they not be so cold. I suppose there are laws about the temperature at which you have to store mayo, but we waited a bit for the chill to come off so that we could taste the flavors. The frites are cut thick and are full of flavor. The bf likes his frites to be thinner, but I was happy with them as they were. I’d go back.

The frites are not bad, but they’re not Belgium fries! I’ve actually traveled to Brussels and had twice-fried frites from a street vendor. Serving in paper cones with concoctions of sauces are the right ways but the fries shouldn’t resemble steak fries and the ones I had here in Olde Town Arvada were not that much different from what Outback steakhouse would serve, bummers. The sauces are good, plenty good actually, that they instantly upgraded the otherwise very average(albeit plump) hot dogs. It was cold in the restaurant the entire time we were there, Not sure if they turned on the heat or not, this is not complaining, just stating the fact, perhaps it was a very cold day, I can’t remember. But I do remember the restrooms being clean! Did not have much interaction with the staff, it was just order, sit down, eat, and leave.
