I went to a play date here with my almost 3 year old daughter a few weeks ago. It’s a nice park. I don’t love wood chips as the ground covering at parks(but it is better than the tiny gravel some use) and I wish there were seating/tables closer to the play equipment. However, I like that the equipment is not too spread out so the kids can play on everything and you can see them from a single location. It’s also got a large amount of open space that would be great for kids a little older who wanted to run and play with a ball. The parking area is good too — not too far from the play ground.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Arvada, CO
I would actually like to give this park 4 and a half stars, but that isn’t posisble. This used to be an open area and I was a little worried that they were going to overdo it when they announced that it was going to be converted to a park, but they didn’t do too bad. This is our go to park when we wanna get a group together to play. They have a huge field so it works for volleyball, football, kickball, soccer, etc. There’s also an okay sized playground. Pluses, include two swings, one of those little shuttle slider things, a dinosaur, and a pavillion that can seat at least 30 people and a couple of grills. There’s also two outhouses, which are kind of far away from the playground but at least they have facilities. Also yearly, usually when it’s starting to get scorching hot they have the Arvada Kite Festival. It’s a wonderful way to spend a lazy afternoon, or to fly a kite.
