My fiancé bought my custom made engagement ring here and I couldn’t be more pleased with everything! The quality customer service and care we got was exceptional from all three people we spoke to the day we had to get my ring re-​sized. They were eager to help and make sure we were happy before we left with it. We dropped it off and had lunch across the street. Came back and it was done! I really thought I’d have to leave it there for gawd knows how long. So that was a very pleasant surprise. Also, before we left for lunch, I fell in love with a pair of earrings for my mother and they had also polished those up for me without me even having to ask. I found our jeweler and we will be repeat customers. Thank you RMG!

Update 1÷22÷16: Don has cost me hundreds of dollars in repair to my ring that he «fixed». He pushed the stone into the seat so far that the seat is damaged and needs to be recut. They said he damaged the ring so badly that they could not completely fix the metal; you can now see where it had to be fixed. He is a terrible excuse for a jeweler. I am so disappointed.
I got my ring sized here and when I got home, immediately noticed the back of the shank was bent. Took it back twice, being told to come back both times (no jeweler present, too busy). I was told it was something he could fix on the spot. When I returned, he told me I needed to leave it for a few days and it would be ready Wednesday. I showed up Thursday afternoon and he had not even begun working on it. Twenty five minutes of waiting and he replaced the entire back of the shank without asking me (I don’t know if this is standard but I would have appreciated being asked before my engagement ring was taken apart). He said a stone was loose and he put it back in; I could IMMEDIATELY tell which stone he «fixed»; I left and went right to another jeweler to have his «handiwork» fixed.

Don and his crew have gone above and beyond great service each time we have been there. The first time we went there we wanted to replace my yellow gold band with white gold. I had some concern about white gold due to an allergy. Don showed us the options and encouraged me to take a ring home and wear it for the weekend to see if I had an allergic reaction or not — so nice of him! They also resized my ring without charging me and checked the prongs for free as well. They are so nice and so helpful!

Love this place and love my new custom engagement ring! It’s flawless. Don is a great guy and a good friend.

Three months and still no ring!!!
I was promised a custom ring in three weeks. I asked if I could get it any sooner as I would be willing to pay in full verses just putting some money down. The owner told me absolutely as it was a slower time of year! Every week for the last three months I have been in to get an update with little to no luck! What a joke! Now I just want my money back and don’t care about the ring this is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced and have been in sales my whole life. Don’t go to Rocky Mountain Fine Jewelry they are a joke.

To the people who mentioned that this is not a great place. This is not a great place. I took my brand new engagement ring into this guy and he told me he would have it done the next day. It wasn’t done for a week. I then started noticing discoloration in the stone and in the metal. I took it to my original Jeweler. It was noted that the stone was a Fake. He stole the stone out of my ring and told us it was the original and replaced it with a fake stone. This was the worst experience I have ever had in my lifetime. DO NOT GO HERE.

Once again I am very pleased with the custom ring designed by Don for me. Don took the time to work with me to create exactly what I wanted and it turned out beautifully. The diamond is stunning! I have already received so many compliments. If you are looking for a local, honest, talented jeweler, I highly recommend Don at Rocky Mountain Gems!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this jeweler. I had a fantastic experience and highly recommend. I walked in with two broken bracelets, I damaged, and left with two beautiful repaired on the spot bracelets and they even cleaned my rings while I was waiting!!! Highly recommend, as this will be my new jeweler of choice!!! I would recommended Rocky Mountain Gems to anyone!!! Very Happy customer!

Not only do they keep banker’s hours, are are never open when their website or their door says, they had my husband’s watch for over three months. When I finally called them to inquire, I was told it was at other shop and it would be ready next Friday. That was three weeks ago. Then I was told it was ready. Then I went to get it and IT WASN’T EVEN TOUCHED! I got a story about their watchmaker, not them, suffering a tragic loss and no watches would be fixed until after Jan 1! I was told it was ready and he didn’t even look at the watch until I came to get it!!! DONT GO HERE. And this watch was for a birthday present as I gave it to my husband 7 yrs ago and was looking forward to giving him back his REPAIRED watch!!! DONT GO HERE.
