I absolutely CANNOTSTAND this location. The first time we went here, it was a great experience. The food tasted good(like your typical Wendy’s) and the staff was friendly. BUT, the 3 visits following have been absolutely horrible. The second time we came here we ordered and ate inside. When we got there, there was one couple sitting and eating, one couple ordering their food, and a man standing in line behind them. We walked up and the man standing in line told us we could go in front of him because he was waiting on someone so he stepped behind us. When the couple that was ordering went to sit down, we stepped up ready to give our order. The girl cashiering(she has black short hair) stared at us for just a moment and then said«you do know he was in front of you, right?» pointing to the man that let us go before him. I responded with«yeah, he said we could go in front of him because he is waiting for someone, we didn’t just cut him off.» And she replies«whatever, what do you want?» My boyfriend and I exchanged looks and then started giving her our order. She cut us off to yell at the people that had ordered before us that their food was ready and to come up and get it. The man came up and asked for dipping sauce and she said«ketchup is over by the drinks, if you need something else you’ll have to wait a minute.» Then turned to continue taking our order… The man walked away right after and I was surprised he hasn’t asked for a manager. For my order I said I wanted a Jr Bacon Cheeseburger and to add lettuce, to which she responds with«that’s not on the menu. You can either get the Jr bacon cheeseburger or the cheeseburger deluxe.» I tell her that I will pay to add whatever needs to be added and she just looks down and punches it into the cash register. At this point she had at least rolled her eyes twice at us and has had a SERIOUS attitude problem the entire time. By the time we are leaving the register and go sit down, I am livid. My boyfriend tells me not to worry about it and that she is probably just having a rough day. The next time we went to this location(at least a month later) we had the same girl cashiering and her attitude was the same, if not worse. She even argued with me about an option on the menu! A different employee ended up taking over the register half way through our order because he noticed us having a spiffle. When we sat down with our food prepared, the girl with the awful attitude decided to come out onto the floor and«clean.» By that I mean wiping off all the tables right around us, testing EVERYSINGLEONE of the drink dispensers on the drinking fountain right across from our table, testing the latch up dispensers, and every other possible thing she could have done in our area. She didn’t clean anywhere else in the dining area expect the places near us. She was clearly trying to antagonize us after what had happened at the cash register. I called after the visit to speak with the manager, who was really kind and offered us free frostys for our next visit. I thanked him but told him this wasn’t the first time we have had a problem with that specific employee. For our most recent(and final) visit, we went through the drive through. That same girl was working the drive through!!!(Of course, just my luck!) She was the one that took our order and, obviously, I didn’t know it was her because I couldn’t see her. But after our order was taken I said to my boyfriend that that lady seemed rude to which he agreed saying she was really short. When we pulled up to the window we realized why. She opened the window to take our money, started saying the total, but then stopped half way through after seeing who we were. She didn’t even finish and just grabbed my boyfriends credit card out of his hands then swiped it. She handed it back saying«didn’t go through, you’ll have to give me a different card» and my boyfriend asked her to try one more time because it had worked just half an hour before. She replied«I already tried it and it didn’t work. You’ll have to give me a different card.» My boyfriend LITERALLY looked down at his wallet and shuffled through it, but ended up handing her the exact same card. She swiped it and handed it back to us with the receipt, then shut the window and walked away until we pulled up to the next window. I called the manager again after getting home, but he wasn’t much help again, only offering us more free frostys. I am BLOWNAWAY by the fact that that kind of service is acceptable. She was rude to other customers, other customers saw how poorly we were treated, and we called the manager more than one time to complain about that specific employee, but still there clearly has been no effort to fix the problem. Her attitude hasn’t changed. I refuse to go back to this location after being treated so terrible!!! Never thought we would be antagonized and bullied by a Wendy’s employee for absolutely NOREASON!!!

The food was typical fast food, but fixed to my liking. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. I would go back to this Wendy’s if back in town and so should you.

Don’t get cheese. It makes burger taste sweet. Yuck. First time I’ve gotten a yucky burger. Won’t be back.

It feels really silly to give a Wendy’s a 3-star review let alone review a Wendy’s at all, but this location deserves a review. There’s a little older woman who works at this Wendy’s. She’s not only incredibly friendly, but she takes her job seriously. She rang up my order and grabbed my food quickly with a smile on her face. When the line at the register was gone, she grabbed a sponge and proceeded to clean tables in the dining room. This Wendy’s was seriously the cleanest Wendy’s I’ve seen! The other workers joked with her that she was making them look bad, but given that she was the only one working, I’d say they were right. I had to review to say that I really appreciate the older woman who works here. She does a great job and has such a happy demeanor — something you don’t often see at fast food restaurants!

Terrible service tonight. I was behind an elderly man at the dinner hour. He ordered two baked potatoes and a couple of drinks for himself and his wife. He paid and was waiting for his food to be put on his tray. After a couple of minutes, the cashier told him they were out of potatoes and only gave him one. The cashier asked him if that was ok. Didn’t offer him his money back, didn’t offer him a substitution, just asked him if that was ok. What was he thinking? The customer said that it was not ok, so the cashier asked him if he wanted something else. The man said a small fries. He had to ask for them several times. Then he had to ask for the sour cream and butter that should have come with his potato. The cashier was confused why he wanted his potato toppings. I definitely do not recommend this location of the Wendy’s food chain.

Every time I have been to this location(88th& Wadsworth) it’s been slow and/or really disappointing. Really dry burgers on burnt buns with over salted fries. Was what my girlfriend and I got on this last visit to this location. I expected more out of Wendy’s not this McD/BK standard that we got!

Well on the way home from the court house I stopped by this place after BK. I had to try the pretzel burger because It looked soo good on tv and well. I’m a dedicated consumer when it comes to anything pretzel like. Well needless to say it was just a bigger filler vessel than a regular bun, which I rather have it without their pretzel knock off. It wasn’t soft or fluffy and warm like I’d expect it to be, but oh well what can i say. Had to give it a try.

Had the new chicken flat bread. It was small, bland, and overpriced. I remember when you could go into a wendys have a good satisfying meal for a reasonable price and leave with a good feeling, now you are shocked not once but twice. Once with the price and twice with the size or the portion and leave feeling disappointed and unfulfilled.

Dear Wendy’s – The thickness of your«triple stack», with 3 patties that combined are barely the thickness of 1 decent patty, are the reason I evade you in favor of Carl’s Jr’s(when I can find them), Burger King or Good Times. Reading my review? In Wendy’s trademarked commercial words, «you’ll know when it’s real» — when people run away in search of a decent fast-food burger(or something altogether better).
