My favorite nursery! I love the selection of flowers and always find top quality plants for my botanical images. Thank you Wright’s Nursery!

I just visited this place for the first time looking for some color & plants for my new patio. Though I didn’t buy(everything was out of my budget), the team there was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable! It seems like a small team so if you spot someone and have a question, get their attention right away! Selection-wise, they were a little slim in greenery compared to other nurseries but still had an amazing selection of roses and other buds.

Wright’s has hands down the best quality I’ve seen from among the local garden centers. During spring there’s all kinds of annuals, perennials, and veggies and they can get just about any plant you’re looking for. The knowledgable and friendly staff is a plus too. Sad to see Timberline go but Wright’s definitely fills the void!

I have lived in Arvada for 22 years and today was the first day that I went to Wrights-MY LOSS! These people were great. They helped me figure out exactly what I needed, found the product, helped me load it into my truck. They are a great local business and I’ll be back. My wife is now going to get a new, yearly Mother’s Day gift certificate. Also, these people are extremely kind. I’ll be back.

A small nursery with helpful staff. I’ve only been here a couple times, but I’m always able to get help. The employees are kind and knowledgeable and they genuinely seem happy to see me there. The selection seemed a tiny bit small, but I was still able to find what I wanted. We’ll see how this place looks as the season progresses, but I like this store so far.

Excellent friendly local garden center. They always have helpful advice and tips. Much appreciated ’cause I’m new to CO gardening.

I visited for the first time today. Loved it! The owners are sooo helpful. Gave me great instructions for planting and keeping things thriving, as well as great suggestions for various areas in my yard. Bonus… almost ½ the price of the place I normally shop. Highly recommend.

I love this nursery and the family that runs it! They’re very helpful, have a great selection, and are less expensive than other nearby nurseries. I like their focus on plants rather than patio and sculptures, too. The staff is friendly without being overbearing, too, which is something I wish more businesses in general would be.

I love, love, love this nursery! I bought my first house early this year. It came with beautiful built in vegetable gardening boxes that were unfortunately overrun with thick weeds that stood taller than my knee. I went to the local Home Depot to find something that could quickly kill the weeds and still allow me to plant within a few weeks. I’m a novice gardener and needed some direction. The garden center associate was very nice and eager to help, but his knowledge was definitely lacking. He recommended a product called Ground Kill. The name was a little intimidating so I asked if he was sure that I could grow a garden afterward. He assured me that the product would leave the soil after 6 weeks. I wasn’t convinced and check the label after he left. Sure enough there was a warning that said«Do not use on areas where growth is desired within one year.» Even if I could grow something after using this product, I doubt that it would be safe to eat. Enter Wright’s Nursery to rescue my dreams of plump homegrown tomatoes. All the people who work there are nice. But there’s one guy in particular who exudes the joy and enthusiasm of someone who truly loves what he does.(I so envy those people.) If he’s not the proud owner then he must be a flower hugger who’s enjoyed working there since he was fourteen. He told me that the only suitable weed killer was Roundup since it doesn’t interact with the soil. But he also recommended that I try to go organic by simply digging out the top 6 inches of soil and replacing it in order to get rid of most of the roots and dormant seeds. In fact I did go organic and also used his recommended brand of organic weed preventer called Preen.(Only use this if you’re growing your garden from starter plants rather than from seed. It works by preventing seed germination.) In the end I had a lovely organic garden and very few weeds. That was only my first experience. I frequented throughout the summer and enjoyed perusing row after row of beautiful flowers, bushes and shrubs. The cool guy(sorry I don’t know his name-perhaps he’s Mr. Wright) also gave me advice about reseeding my lawn, choosing climbers, and harvesting my vegetables. He basically knows everything about gardening and landscaping and loves to share his knowledge. It’s like having my own personal garden consultant. If you go there next spring, seek him out. He’s tall, thin, white, middle age with a shaved head and sun hat. Visiting this nursery is a treat not an errand.
