So happy to find this little gem on the boardwalk. a perfect addition to the new asbury park, with artsy shops. I found little red riding hood mugs and glasses here and since i collect little red stuff, i was psyched. i chatted with the incredibly adorable owner(i imagine he is the owner), and upon hearing that, he showed me a catalog of the artwork of japanese artist shinzi katoh who does amazing kitschy work, and a lot of lrrh. Since then, I am a huge fan of the artist. he was very thoughtful to consider my tastes and show me! they do have esp unique and well made housewares, so take a look around. oh and the coconut toasted marshmallows are pretty great.

Stopped by here today while we were checking out the beach over in Asbury. As part of their sweeping renovations to the boardwalk area, Asbury has created a series of cute little shops and restaurants. Bodega has a great selection of antique and antique-looking jewelry for fantastic prices. Additionally, they carry a nice selection of home-goods that are really unique and interesting. At first glance the shop is really small, but take a moment to look around. They’ve got some super neat stuff. Extra Credit: The owner is both adorable and charming and has great taste. He’s more than happy to chat with the customers and help them find whatever they’re looking for.
