I am not an art critique but they seem to carry more progressive collection compared to most NJ galleries.

Loved this place. They had a gold plated machine gun for $ 6,000,00. Very unusual art.

This a wonderful gallery located on Cookman Street in Asbury Park and they always have interesting works on display. Now, if we could just afford something, but that will happen someday. The owners are always welcoming and pleasant and we enjoy their input on the art work. This place is one of the reasons that Asbury continues on the track toward a complete comeback.

Parlor Gallery is an amazing art gallery in historic Asbury Park NJ. Why is it amazing? I’ll tell you. The art they feature is a well-curated mix of local talent and world-famous artists. In the past I’ve seen work by Mark Mothersbaugh, Mitch O’Connell, Niagara, Hannah Stouffer and Mike Bell. Expect the unexpected! Nothing pedestrian or boring. All killer, no filler.

Asbury Park, let alone all of the east coast other than NYC, needs more contemporary art galleries willing to take risks as this one does. Great space, fun — fantastic openings, and a comfortable environment to see sone groundbreaking and emerging artists. Two standouts — Joe Iurato and Papermonster have both been featured here. A+

This adorable gallery is run by sweethearts. Usually, the only thing luring me to opening receptions is free wine and hopefully a decent cheese platter, but Parlor is not your typical YAWN gallery. This delightful space has showcased many fresh up-and-coming artists in addition to greats like Mark Mothersbaugh of DEVO!(mmmmmph!) Totally worth a visit if you’re in the area. Check out their website for future openings.

Great space run by two sweet gals. Their current show«Home Sweet Home» has various artists from different backgrounds and is really fantastic. If mixed media is your bag, definitely go before it closes. If you are in the Asbury Park area looking for something to kill a bit of time stop by the space and check it out.
