I saw this place on Unilocal and figured I would give it a try. It was basically a cross between Cava Mezze Grill and Moby Dick(if you live nearby you will know what they are). The place was clean and the staff was friendly and explained how things works if you have never been. In a nutshell you are getting a kabob plate with rice or salad, but here you can add toppings and sauce to them. I added some feta, hummus and a tomato/cucumber mix. The toppings added some flavor to the dish, the meat alone wasn’t the most flavorful itself.

Beautiful, new Mediterranean restaurant! Close to new Starplex Cinema(which by the way now has REALLY comfortable reclining seats). Like Cava, you walk through and create your own dishes by selecting from different options. However, this place has better atmosphere and way fewer screaming teenagers. As vegetarians, we tried the falafel and it was the best we’ve had!

My hunny and I tried this place before catching a movie on Friday night. It’s a fast-casual kabob restaurant where u choose your base, protein and toppings. I find it to be a really cool concept and the restaurant is nicely done. The food is okay, I was expecting a bit more flavor and the portions are a bit on the smaller side for the prices. May try again if in the area.

Think Chipotle, but with mediterranean/kabobs. Choose a base(rice, salad, or bread), a protein, up to 3 toppings, and a sauce/dressing. I ordered half salad/half rice(no extra charge) with the lamb kabob. The menu states that all protein is prepared on an open flame grill, but as you’re ordering, you’ll notice the that protein sits in covered bins, which does not guarantee you’ll get the freshest, «hot off the grill» meat. Also, portion size is small — I got 4 – 5 small pieces of lamb that were dry and a bit tough. The price point is fair($ 7 – 9 for a bowl). I grabbed some baklava to go and didn’t realize until after I paid that 3 tiny pieces cost $ 5. The baklava is good, but at almost 2⁄3 the price of the entrée. I’ll probably skip it next time. The price point is fair, but you can get better quality and portion size for paying a little more elsewhere.

As I was driving by, I noticed the new sign so decided to stop by and have dinner. The setup is very similar to Chipotle/Cava etc. Though they are trying to do what chipotle does with Mediterranean food, parts of Mediterranean food simply do not mix and match. For example, they are serving tandoori naan bread(made in clay oven) but instead of keeping the bread on the side or putting it on the top, they just tossed it in on the bottom of the bowl. With all the toppings on the top, the bread became a soggy mess. I had lamb(as my protein) and it was very chewy. Maybe the place is going through some growing pains and they will eventually figure it out so I will wait a bit before returning again. The place is nice and clean.

Clean, new, nice chef who explained everything for our first visit with few other customers present. Fresh ingredients and a fair amount of choice. Basically, it’s like Cava(«Chipotlesized») where you pick a base(rice or salad), a protein, a sauce. Chic peas, bread, and basil leaves optional but if chosen will be meted out sparingly. All meals served in good-sized bowls, it seems. Sauces were excellent. Ingredients were fresh — tasted and smelled great. Will be back. A good lunch in Ashburn for under $ 10. Only reasons I can’t go 5 stars are 1) I’ve been to Cava in Ashburn and it had more selection and seemed more organized and 2) the lack of gloves worn in the open serving area by folks that I saw had touched door handles, etc. and the fact that I had to sign a sketchy tablet screen for my credit card purchase with my finger(but I’m picky about that sort of thing.) Still, 4+ stars. Check it out!

I’m a big fan of Mediterranean food, coming from Europe where it’s very popular. I was excited to hear this place had opened and looked forward to trying it. I went after seeing a movie at the Starplex next door. I was the only customer at 6pm on a Sunday night. You order by choosing the base, protein, toppings and sauces. There are sides available, along with Baklava and pastries and various cold drinks. The food is tasty, that’s for sure. I went for the Lamb Kabob. What’s a Kabob anyway? In Europe, it’s a Kebab. In the Mediterranean, it’s a Kebab. Why is it Kabob? The meat was a little over-cooked to be honest, it had spent too long on the grill. A pity really, as it was very tasty otherwise. I had sides of Chickpea Stew, Tabouleh and Babaganoush, curiously called«Eggplant Dip». It also comes with flame grilled onions and tomatoes. I chose the Spicy Garlic Yogurt sauce which complemented the lamb perfectly. The food was delicious — very fresh and very tasty indeed. Good value for $ 8.50. I had an order of Baklava, which seemed steep at $ 4.50 for 3 pieces, although I do understand that making Baklava is somewhat labour-intensive. I’d definitely come here again — good value, the place is spotlessly clean, the chef was friendly and the food is delicious. Cook the lamb a little less, gain the 5th star. ;-)

This is one of my new favorite places to eat. It has a very similar set-up to chipotle but with Mediterranean food. The price is comparable to chipotle and other restaurants in the area. I suggest everyone give it a try. Even if you have never had Mediterranean food, the staff will help you choose what you might like. The food is delicious. I have tried many different items from their menu and I still have not found one I do not like. Their baklava is also delicious! The staff is extremely nice.

Food was pretty good. It’s going to be my new Chipotle. Plus it’s close. Price is reasonable. Place is very nice. Nice and clean of course. People are very friendly. Although it’s very new, you should definitely give it a try.

Much awaited Kebab restaurant in the Ashburn area. The kebabs were on point, and the dressings were delicious. Only wished the serving size was more since their dishes were really tasty.
