Bloo Dental

When we moved to Ashburn five years ago we knew no one to refer us to our Doctors. Its never fun looking for a dentist however, I can tell you I feel so fortunate to have found Bloo Dental. Dr. Rahim has a wide range that entails anything from maintenance to cosmetic, and we have discussed them all. I can say with the fullest of confidence that you will be in the best hands here. Dr. Rahim is so meticulous in his work that I know that his expectations are set so high that I am getting the same attention he would give you to his own family.
His staff is a true extension of himself and I really can’t say enough about how competent and warm they are. Truly I have never had such a nice touch with a hygienist and this goes a long way with me. My two sons will be coming here for their regular checkups because they accommodate little ones too! They get a goodie bag and balloon to make sure the experience is fun!

I have been going to Dr. Rahim at Bloo Dental for a little over a year and always found him and his whole team to be very personable and welcoming and appreciate the way Dr. Rahim takes the time to sit down and really go over your dental health. Recently I broke a veneer and it was a visual and financial nightmare, but Dr. Rahim and his team went above and beyond to turn it into the best experience as possible, under the circumstances… from the temporary tooth to the finished product, they did a fantastic job… no one even knew that I’d broken a tooth.

They did a good job decorating, but when it comes down to service they are awful. What is the point of scheduling an appointment if they are going to take an hour anyways? As for the actual dental work, I got none. A woman who looked younger than my daughter brought me over to some high-​tech machine to x-​ray my mouth and sat me in one of the dental rooms. Half an hour later the dentist finally came in and told me he wasn’t able to fix my problem and directed me to a specialist in Reston. Worst part is they charged me $ 80 out of pocket (I have full coverage insurance) for their fancy new x-​ray machine a month later.

I’ve been going to Bloo-​Dental since they opened. They always seem to be on the cutting edge of dental technology (which equates to emphasis on patient comfort). The Dr. and staff are all über friendly, and really take time to explain any questions you have /​work you need to have done. Even if you fear the dentist, or haven’t been to one in a long time, the team at Bloo doesn’t judge, but works hard to put you at ease!
Even though I’ve moved from the area, I still come back because of the patent care Bloo Dental offers.

Once you walk into the office, you’ll wonder if you’ve entered and upscale lounge or spa. As my son uttered as we walked in — «wow, this place is coooollll!» (I’m sure the upcoming installation of an XBOX in the kids waiting room will only take it further …).
Alas, I didn’t come for the décor but was moved to visit Bloo because it was close to home and had gotten some positive reviews from neighbors. That, and my teeth needed some much needed TLC.
From the front desk, to the technicians all the way to Dr. Rahim it was an excellent experience. While I don’t have an irrational fear of dentists, the thought of needles and drills in my mouth doesn’t do anything good for my blood pressure.
Thankfully, Dr. Rahim and team were patient, educational and made sure that I was comfortable during my cleaning and (dammit!) my fillings. I’d recommend Bloo to anyone.
